I purchased the Kenwood Airfryer oven from Takealot. It started rusting even it is in great working order. I returned it a month ago and apparently Kenwood carries the warranty. Now Kenwood won’t honour the warranty as the appliance is operational and they revoked the rest if my 2 year warranty because of the bad rusted condition it is in!!! I want to talk to them myself but Takealot says they will contact me. After three requests I’m still waiting. What happened to Kenwood’s reputation and service excellence? I will never buy from them again!!
I would like to thank 1-Grid for the excellent service provided to us over the last couple of years. We cancelled as we no longer needed the domain, but if I ever needed one again, I would no doubt be using their services again. Shout out to Mason Swartz for excellent customer service.
This is how everyone in the industry should treat their customers! Food is ALWAYS great and the staff goes the extra mile for their customers. Well done!
I bought a Typhoon camping stove from Alloutdoorandhome aka Lesandre Online. It has never worked properly. The flames are set extremely high and you can’t use the oven for anything. At first she gave us the manufacturer’s number but when they could not help us, she said we spoke to the wrong person. I insisted that she sort it out then as I purchased from her, not them. Then I received excuse after excuse until I asked for a return address to send it back for a refund. Now I get no response from then. I hate going this route, but we are pensioners, permanent campers and hate using a faulty gas appliance that reeks gas when you use it. I wish the manufacturers would get involved as I don’t know where or who to turn to next. update: she contacted me very quickly when she saw my post and now claim that she doesn’t carry the warranty herself, although that was never mentioned before. She will apparently put me into contact with the manufacturer as she said they claim it is in fine working order from our videos.
I purchased an item online from “Alloutdoorandhome.co.za” aka “Lesandre Online Pty Ltd”. It was a Typhoon camping stove. Since I have started using it, the flame is too high and everything burns. I have spoken to Lesley. She first gave us the manufacturer’s number but they couldn’t assist. She then told me we spoke to the wrong person and she would contact them. So far no luck. She is not responding to my messages. All I want to do is return it for a refund. I feel it is dangerous as we smell gas quite bad while using it. I don’t have another stove so I am forced to use it as unsafe as it is. I am extremely unhappy with their service. Quick to sell you an item, but then they cut you off when there is a problem.
I ordered the Salton clothes drying rack but received a damaged incorrect item. After a week of backwards and forwards I am requested to return it at my own cost. They did not want to supply me with a return address for a full refund! Apparently the supplier gave them the wrong description. However, it seems this is an ongoing problem and they always try to put you back onto the supplier after I made it clear that I bought from them and not their supplier. All I want is my money back. Will never buy from them again.
Every time I order from Light in the Box I receive my goods on time in perfect order. The quality of the items is really good. I received my refund for a cancelled item within a few days. I will continue to purchase from them.
