As usual, you insert your address where you want to go & available options with prices pops up for you to select from. I selected my option that costed R120, my account was debited before the ride arrived. This was yesterday, 10/04/2024. This morning I received a credit of the R120 & my account was debited for R165. This is unacceptable & breaching the agreement.
The owner Vincent Peters of this company is not to be trusted. Steer far away from this company. The police is currently looking for him as I paid him money for the deck, 2nd floor & when I tried to contact him he did not answer my calls or returned any of my calls. R111 918.21 I paid him and I want my money back, otherwise he will have to sit in jail. I had other contractors have a look at my half completed project & I was advised of alot of errors made which need to be rectified. So not only does this company rip people off with their hard earned money, they also do poor workmanship. Vincent Peters gave me a completion date of 1st week of February 2024 the project will be completed. We are in March now & he still has not returned my calls.
Stay away with ANY association with the name Vincent Peters. I mentioned the bad reviews on Hello Peter to Vincent & he spinned me a story of his identity got ******, his friend impersonated him creating all the bad reviews. He seemed genuine & sincere when we met to discuss my project. I believed him and it was the biggest mistake of my life. He started with the project until it was time for the deck to go on & Vincent started with his excuses, like he attended a funeral in JHB, his ex wife were in hospital, his house burned down. I spoke to him last week and he asked me to give him a chance, he will be on site on Monday morning which was today, 26 February 2023 & he gave me a completion date of 1st week of February 2023. I paid Vincent for the deck R111 918.21 & he has not pitched. I called him several times & no answer. Please be careful people and steer very clear from VINCENT PETERS trading under the company names HONRA or HONESTA Projects.
I hired a electrician through Bark and they were good in the beginning, but has failed to deliver on so many levels. They have no integrity or business etiquette whatsoever. Wasted so much of my time and putting my business at risk. SKY S****PERS is the name of their company, please stay away from them they bad for business. Isaac & Thomas are the ones i have been dealing with. They have done incomplete work and I am still waiting for CoC.
Please note I was at Canal Walk last night & I am a loyal customer of the Mall Last night I had the worst experience, I came out of the mall & paid my R9 ticket, I had a trolley with me with shopping and when I came out wanting to put the groceries in my car, the ticket blew away & I decided to drive to the boom & press the help button to explain what happened. I have NEVER been so embarrassed in my life!!! Zaan the guy at the boom which I did not recognize, as the person usually there is very friendly. The lady asked this guy to make the call to let me through or not (Really? Making me feel like a ******** & then I asked for the manager, which I explained the situation to & he did not use COMMON SENSE at all, just threw the rules at me & don’t understand accidents do happen & the wind was pretty strong last night. We in November, the wind does pick up late afternoon side. That is besides the point, I believe he should have had more empathy. Canal Walks customers are ELITE people & this should not be happening to any customer. I could go into more details, but don’t have the time to explain everything. For example there was an incident with me on the 15th of August 2023, where the same thing happened. I came out paid my ticket, had packages with me & I received a call from my DAD, which was an emergency call about my MUM being injured. I just could not find the ticket, as I was shaken by the call & had to get home immediately. I drove to the boom & explained that I received an emergency call & cannot find my ticket, without a question they opened the boom for me. My MUM passed away that evening. THAT IS EMPATHY TOWARDS CUSTOMERS, whoever was behind that boom that night. Christopher Charles America is the assistant manager, who should not be in that position as he cannot use his common sense & clearly does not know the clientele at Canal Walk. He treated me like a ********, using incriminating language like “the customer CLAIMS that her ticket blew away” Ebrahim Jacobs, I believe is the Manager, who was off duty at the time the incident happened should not leave *********** people like Christopher Charles America in charge. It is about moral & value the staff is adding to CANAL WALK & I think it is utterly important who you leave in these positions to deal with customers. I would hate for something like this to happen to another loyal customer.
The debit goes off every month & the service you receiving is NON RESPONSIVE I have sent them emails asked for them to call me back & i just have not received any feedback. Why do we pay for legal aid? I have to approach a lawyer that can assist me as Scorpion is just a waste of time!! I am cancelling this contract with immediate effect.
BE AWARE people!! Chris Daniels the owner of this company prides himself of being in business for 21 years, but gives you a 3rd class service after your deposit is received. He is the nicest person & says yes to everything in the beginning. To make a very long & problematic story short. I have stipulated to Chris before the trailer went into production, all of my concerns I have with the generator needed for the trailer, sent him all the required specs, pics etc. I even showed him a pic of the generator I had in mind & he told me no, he will get me the right generator, I was so relieved as according to my research I thought this is such a blessing & the guy must know what he is doing. CLEARLY NOT!! I found this out afterwards when I collected the trailer & tested the oven. The generator overload light flashed, meaning the generator could not even handle the oven alone. I took the trailer back & he was willing to help, only to advise me that I will have to pay more for another generator that will apparently solve the problem. I obviously told him that I simply cannot afford to spend more money on the trailer. He charged me R71 300 for a generator he paid R20 000 for, so now you can see how money hungry this guy is with absolutely no integrity or business etiquette. I found myself always tip toeing around him as he gets easily offended. I discovered this with another incident we had with the trailer whilst in production. I will leave my number for anyone to contact me to hear the problems I incurred with this company. It has been 2 weeks now since I have taken back the trailer for him to resolve the problem and his informed me that his ordered another 8 KWA generator to supposedly fix the problem. This generator would have lasted me 2 months & then I would have had bigger problems down the line. After all his trying to help me & fixing the problem that he created by not listening to his client. I have demanded him to reimburse me the R 71 300 he charged me for the generator & he sent me a message as follow: “COLLECT YOUR TRUCK TODAY SEND YOUR REQUIST FOR REFUND TO JANET YOU WILL DEAL WITH HER I WILL TAKE THE LOSS COLLECT BEFORE 5PM” Take the loss???? He has overcharged me, but his taking a loss? I have immediately sent Janet an email with the Invoice, Proof of Payment & my bank details, so she can arrange a credit. He also threatened me if I don’t collect trailer yesterday, 10/10/2023 then he will charge me storage. I told him I will collect the trailer when the credit is received, but I cannot afford to waste more time. I have just received a mail from Janet advising of Credit as follow: HONDA INVERTER GENERATOR (This is on the Invoice I paid) -R62 000.00 ( I received a GENTEC INDUSTRIES 4Kwa) Please google this & see price? 10% HANDLING FEE – R6200.00 GENERATOR HOUSING – R12 000.00 TOTAL -R43 800.00 VAT- R6 570 CREDIT DUE -R50 370.00 This is not fair!! No where on the quote or the invoice I received for trailer were stipulated Generator Housing & the handling fee should be part of the trailer costs & Vat which I already paid for. I have arranged to collect the trailer today, he asked what time, as this is another problem, he dodges clients all the time by not being there, even though you made an appointment with him. You stand outside the gate feeling like an idiot waiting for him to reply or answer your calls before they let you in. He admits to no fault & claims he was given the wrong information, I have emails to prove & even told him to go check the mails. I don’t think this man is right in the head. I have taken the trailer for assessment & I was informed a DB Board was suppose to be installed & Chris failed to do so violating standard safety rules & regulations. This business should not be allowed to operate as simple regulations are not adhered to. The credit is still not received & meanwhile his sitting with a generator I overpaid for.

I am still waiting on Discovery to let me know when my car can be taken in for repair. 3 weeks and still going, we are heading for a month can you believe this? Their service levels are really disgusting!!!!
I cannot even give them a one star rating with the horrendous service I am still experiencing with them. My car got damaged more than two weeks ago by a remote controlled gate & of course I called Discovery to have my vehicle repaired. I am still waiting for them to resolve the matter. None of their numbers work, i have to constantly email them for feedback. My vehicle was suppose to go in on Tuesday, but when I asked about a curtesy car, they told me they have none available. Now why do i pay insurance every month???? I was told that i have not selected this option, this shouldn't even be an option to select for any client & should be standard procedure to have this automatically included in your Insurance. I wrote to the Manager of Customer Services & was told that it is a process & an investigation has to be conducted in the meantime i have to drive with a damaged car after waiting two weeks already for an appointment from the repair shop.
