Firstly, their *********** use of AI to resolve customer queries, that chatbot will create tickets which will never be resolved or followed up on by a human. Their network speeds are atrocious especially in the evening. From 18:00-00:00 we just know that we will barely do anything with that network. It’s so disappointing. I have reached out a million times trying to get my router replaced because the tiny screen just went blank - it’s been 3 months since and no response or follow up regardless of the 10s of tickets created around this issue. Anyway, I cancelled their service yesterday - they can collect their router whenever they want. Anyway, massive shoutout to banks for creating Virtual Cards…
Wow - I am truly blown away lol. Sometimes it feels like a cheat code. To be fair, my warranty was a little expensive (R34K in 2022 when I first got it). But since then, each and every service as well as the repairs were carried out without hassle. I am sure I've repaired my car for repairs and service costs well over R80K-R100K. Here's a general rule of thumb if you don't want issues with your claims. * Take care of your vehicle, ensure your oil changes and services are done on time. * Simple things like keeping your tires properly inflated to the correct pressure at all times will take you a long way. * Clean your car, do your due diligence. * Avoid driving the car with known issues - get them resolved asap! don't hesitate. They are prompt to respond to your queries and the option to have them call you back for any queries you might have is a game changer. I love it thus far.
So far I have no complaints but also no reason to rate higher. Just been alright.
To be fair, I already saw others complaining about this but desperation got the best of me. They will set the debit date earlier than you specified - if there's no money in your account, you will pay the penalty. lol I borrowed R3700 to pay it back in 2 months. In all, I paid them back roughly just over R5000, mind you - I never missed payment on the day I specified as my salary date and they debited accordingly but they first debit on the 18th and then they try again on the 25th. lol who gets paid on the 18th. Anyway, would never use them again. Hopefully I never have to take a loan again.
A bit shady. Pros: nice application process. Cons: why change my salary date to the 18th when I clearly stated the 25th? Why am I still owing R400 when I never missed a debit order for the term of my loan (two months)? Shady Shady.
I literally prefer to wear sweatpants - there aren’t any other trousers that I prefer to wear. Mind you my sweatpants aren’t Mr Price sweatpants or whatever but they just wouldn’t let me in. Am I at a fashion show or here to dance and enjoy my money??? Bouncers are mean like crazy. Right on my pay day, I was so prepared to have fun. Oh well.
Stay away. I bought a BMW 320i last year(2022) October. 4 months later I am expecting to pay R36K to get the whole cooling system done. Funny enough, I remember the old guy who served me told me that I had a warranty on the car and if the car overheats I shouldn't drive it, which makes me wonder - they flippin knew that the car had an issue but still sold it to me. Worst dealership ever don't be fooled by the shiny floors. HORRIBLE.
THE WORST EXPERIENCE. Took my car to BMW Dalpark to get it checked for a leaking coolant, mind you this was before the scheduled annual service - and I was told there was nothing wrong with the coolant system all is fine. A day later I had my service done and a vehicle check done, the vehicle hadn't even travelled 200km, the coolant light came on again, we filled up and in the process the bleed ***** broke and we replaced it, the coolant light still came on and I went back and disclosed that I still have the issue however I replaced the speed ***** myself. They said perhaps it was the bleed ***** and everything is fine. I believed that given how easily it broke. Travelled about 300km from Gauteng to Cape Town, Coolant light came on again and the engine was heating up. I am so frustrated. I don't know how many times I told them about this. What does a vehicle check mean to them? When I tell you there's an issue, you can't say there's no issue just because you can't find it. Be better. Look harder.
