STILL THE TITLE HOLDER FOR WORST CLIENT BANK BY FAR, THEY JUST DONT FOLLOW BASIC INSTRUCTIONS! Despite AGAIN speaking to and confirming ALL my and ex-partner/co-owners details, homeloan account etc. with the Standard Bank personnel (25, 27 June 2025) and them confirming over phone calls on both days, "I'll get a statement per email (email also confirmed) each month and that my EFT payments on the homeloan account reflects and that the debit order is stopped (which I requested last year October to allow manual EFT payments)". THEY STILL HAVEN'T SENT THE STATEMENT AND TO ADD TO THIS, THEY STILL TRY AND RUN DEBIT ORDERS PLACING MORE INTEREST ON MY HOMELOAN AFTER BEING PAID 5 DAYS BEFORE DUE!!!! I want to speak to a Director, NOT a consultant, sales person, insurance or any other department, a DIRECTOR of the bank, clearly there is a serious disconnection between departments or something is seriously wrong with the bank, either way I want an answer and immediate remedial action taken!
WORST BANK BY FAR! Standard bank is not even standard they cant even get the basics right. On numerous occasions having called, emailed and visited in branch and keep requesting a statement on my current homeloan. This F******ing bank still hasn't or rather doesn't want to send a homeloan statement to myself or the other co-owner. But they have the gall to give out personal information to insurance brokers (who do not stop calling - EVER) so put short I get called a 100 times a day from various companies but not one call from the bank who I actually need service from! To make matters worse when I call them they are rude and hang up on me so I'm left guessing what my homeloan is and the amount that needs to be paid each month. This is ridiculous and by far the worst service, if I could give them 0 stars I absolutely would. Don't take a homeloan or anything from this circus proclaiming to be a bank they are below substandard and by far the worst bank I've ever had the displeasure of working with!
Basically false advertising at its finest. Its a glorified cloud based app making use of users adding movies series etc to their clouds and giving you the viewer access for a fee obviously... After installing emulators that are slow and buggy and finally getting access to the main page, there's a lot of movies and series to choose from... but wait there's a catch! Most if not all the movies series etc don't work (not connected) even when you have connected your cloud storage! They also cannot say when the movie, series etc. will be available or when it is removed so you are left with a bunch of movies and series that you cant watch, paid for and have little to no access to... Oh and dont try and filter to see what's connected there's no filter option available! Don't waste your money on this **** app
MIOSA and NCC disappointing "We are about the consumers" YEAH RIGHT!!!!! After 4-5 Months with my case at MIOSA, my case now is in the hands of the NCC. After lodging complaint (November 2023) and the initial email response (2 - 3 days later) forget about hearing anything back! I've sent numerous follow up emails and made numerous calls to no avail! My case/complaint (891 // CC2023/11/0872) has been pending for nearing 60 days (2 months) with NO RESPONSE and NO FORESEEABLE SOLUTION OR OUTCOME IN THE MATTER! Truly disappointing!!!! There is seemingly NO justice and NO immediate repercussions for ***** dealerships, owners or ******! Meanwhile I sit with a car that doesn't drive and is losing value by the minute!!!! Close this SOE and allow the affected public/consumers to go straight to court it will save us all time, headaches and tax money!!!!
It has been nearly 8 months since I purchased a car from this, likely worst dealership, owner and salesmen I have EVER had the displeasure of purchasing a secondhand car from IN MY LIFE! (AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!!) Bought a car June 2023 (cash), broke down same day as collected. Requested refund as per CPA legislation from dealership owner (that acts like he is not the owner), owner refused and insisted on repairs. Even after repairs (by possibly the worst mechanic I have ever seen in my life) Car alerted me to critical issues, RED notifications on car info display, I notified dealership owner again and again requested refund, again I was ignored/disregarded. Case was at MIOSA (check the review of my experience with them too) after 4 - 5 months MIOSA issued findings/instructions (for collection and refund) dealership owner ignored and disregarded communications further and did not comply! The complaint/case is now at the National Consumer Commission (The NCC) after now nearing another 2 months later, still no repercussions for this dealership and owner!!!! AVOID THIS HORRID DEALERSHIP AND ITS ***** AND DISHONEST SALES PEOPLE AND OWNER AT ALL COSTS!!!!
Excellent experience last year after having bought a vehicle from a horrid dealership (MJ Motors CC Benoni - check review on them too) and still having a pending case with the NCC to date. I was forced to purchase a vehicle through financing. Luckily Derrik van Aswegen at Webuycars Silver lakes branch assisted me to purchase a vehicle with top service honesty and integrity! Won't buy any vehicles anywhere else in future! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND WEBUYCARS!

It took the MIOSA 4 - 5 months to issue findings on a pretty straightforward case. Bought car cash, broke down same day - according to CPA refund can be requested without any issues. Requested in writing to dealership owner, dealership owner (MJ motors CC Benoni) refused and insisted on repairs and even after shoddy repairs by probably the worst mechanic I've ever seen. Still car doesn't run properly and critical alerts became apparent on car display on the same day, again I insisted on a refund. Still disregarded and ignored by dealership owner. I informed MIOSA same in writing. MIOSA issued findings after 4 months of me constantly calling and emailing and little to no feedback aside from "your case is in a queue and will be taken care of once it comes up" over the phone and follow up emails were never answered. MIOSA findings were for dealership to refund me, dealership and its owner as before just ignored and disregarded all communications. What is the point of waiting for so long and following the lawful process with the MIOSA if the dealership and its owner can just ignore/disregard their findings and then you have to go to another entity (NCC)??? IT'S A WASTE OF TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Close this entity and allow the affected public/consumers to go straight to the court!!!! It'll take less time, headaches and ********s like this dealership MJ MOTORS CC BENONI WON'T BE ALLOWED TO GET AWAY WITH THIS!!!!
After canceling our rain package 29 June and stating the same above reasons for canceling along with unstable internet or non existent internet and little to no after sales service. We received a notification on the my rain portal, a payment will still be deducted at the end of the same month and the service only be terminated end of July (one month notice period) and arrangements will be made by rain to collect their router within July. This would've been great and welcomed if it was true! Our internet service was just cut completely without any warning whatsoever less than 24 hours after cancellation. We'll have to see if they even call to collect the router... My advice to all reading this DON'T USE RAIN ISP IT'S ABSOULTE *******!
I had a car accident a while back and from the moment after the impact outsurance has been there and they've been transparent throughout the process of claiming and never too busy to answer calls or emails. Top notch service will definitely stay with and highly recommend outsurance for motor vehicle insurance. To the ladies and gents at outsurance who helped with my claim etc you're all stars!
