I ordered items of clothing online on Sunday and was told my parcel would arrive at my house on Friday (today). I received a message this morning saying my order is out for delivery. I have tried calling, chatbotting, WhatsApp chat etc since lunchtime just to make sure that the parcel is definitely coming today. The first customer care agent on their WhatsApp group told me yes it’s out for delivery and I will receive it by latest 5pm. It’s 19:20 - all modes of contact are shut off for the day so I cannot speak to anyone to try and track or trace the parcel. I fly out at 07:20 AM tomorrow morning. So no gifts for my family. I am so upset because I have been tracking the parcel to make triple sure I would receive it. I last heard from Mahashwari on Mr Price WhatsApp who told me sorry it’s now 7pm so he is closing our conversation. Balungile spoke to me on Mr Price WhatsApp at lunchtime and assured me that my parcel was out on delivery and I’d receive it today. They don’t know the wood for the trees these “customer service agents”. I mean come on. This is just plain slack and sloppy service. I would not recommend ordering from Mr Price online. Most disappointing and highly unprofessional.
I moved to Rsaweb because they offered a slightly lower rate than my previous service provider. What a mistake. It has been the worst service imaginable and they only offer service from 9am to 5pm. So you're *****ed should anything go wrong with your connection after 5pm. They also suspend your internet connection without informing you why or when. There is no customer service after 5pm, not even on the chat bot or online or phone. Honestly can't cope with them another month! Not in 2024 when everything is internet run. Hopeless.
If I could give a minus 5 I would. I have spent 2 hours of my sunday on trying to resolve this. My lunch with my family was disastrous because I was bringing the wine, and thought it would not be a problem to order from Mr D an hour before I left to my Moms. Not the case. As for Mr D employee reading this (if you care): I refuse to tell my story one more time!!!! Look up on my phone number and see what went on - my credit wallet emptied for nothing. My apparent "apology" code doesn't work - and the code gives me nothing for free - it was my R150 in my credit wallet and the R75 was because the voucher would not work on the store it was advertised on. Pathetic! This has been going on since 10h45 this morning!!! Ridiculous service. I was assisted by a Zara T. Go figure. Shocking actually.
Always a pleasure ordering from Takealot. Delivered in your hand and returns are handled promptly and with no hassles. So grateful to have a company that still works in South Africa! What would we do without Takealot!!
If there was a minus 10 stars I would pick that. My account is up to date and I get a message on the website saying "Your benefits have been stopped temporarily. Your account is up to date but your benefits are still on hold. To resolve this, please call Discovery on 0860 99 88 77" Then when I call the number to find out what the story is they just tell me to email my proof of payment to admin - they cannot unsuspend me. But the thing is - I don't owe them any money. My premium of over R6000 per month is paid. But my benefits have stopped and I am on day 4 without my medication. Call centre couldn't care a less. Sad hey. Is there no better health insurer out there?
Such appalling bad service with ABSA insurance... Firstly you can't get hold of anyone to assit you on their phone number and secondly no one replies to emais, although I have several email addresses. Even the personal email addresses I write to give you “this mailbox is full”. It’s utterly disgusting behaviour. As the other complaints state- they want your premium, but they go to such lengths to blank you when you have a claim. My claim is from the 8th August and I am still battling. The sum they want to pay out is less than half of what it cost to fix. I could go on but instead I will hold myself back and see if writing this complaint helps anyone at the home owner’s insurance dept wake up and contact me back. Ridiculous the amount of Time and energy that I have put in to just trying to talk to them! Why? It feels like they must be doing business in an underhanded manner.
Really helpful and positive staff work here which immediately makes you feel happy to be there. You are always greeted with a "how can I help you?", "can I carry that for you?" and a staff member takes the heavy rolls from you and to the cutting table. I never feel rushed, watched or crowded though. People who enjoy their work and are interested in their customers run this store. Refreshing. Always a pleasure!
If there was half a star I’d pick that. Most definitely the worst service with Tammy in customer care. Unfair and blatant fraudulent advertising regarding responsive web design. Who in this day and age doesn’t need their site to be viewable on a mobile phone? If you look on the site builder you’ll see they advertise it as “responsive”, which is why I decided to use them. It’s not. They’ll give me one month free for the @&!:* up. I don’t need a month free!! The site is illegible on different devices! What a waste of my time! I built a site with 5 full pages for my business which took about 6 weeks to do! All for nothing as they aren’t even prepared to help fix the situation. It has never even been live...Move on! There are better websites builders and customer services people out there. I’m most upset about the wasted effort I put in under false pretences.
