If i could give it ZERO ⭐️ i would!!! Jackpot City – Fantastic at taking your money. Absolutely terrible at paying it back. I decided to try Jackpot City after previously using LottoStar, which I had a great experience with. Deposits and withdrawals there worked exactly as they should. Jackpot City? A completely different story. Depositing money is instant. Within seconds your money is gone from your bank account. No delays, no problems, no “escalations.” But the moment you try to withdraw money you actually won, suddenly the system stops working. I have submitted every document they asked for — ID verification, bank confirmation, everything. My account is fully verified and they themselves confirmed there are no issues on my account. Yet my withdrawals have been reversed back into my casino account twice with absolutely no explanation. Over the past week I have: • Sent multiple emails (no response) • Used the live chat daily • Phoned their support line • Spoken to agents two to three times a day And every single time I get the exact same script: “Your case has been escalated.” “The payments department is looking into it.” “Please allow another 24–48 hours.” Apparently this mysterious “payments department” lives in a black hole, because nothing ever actually happens. It’s now been over a week of chasing them just to receive my own money. Let me repeat that: They can take your money in seconds, but paying you your winnings seems to be impossible. At this point it feels like they will do anything and everything to delay paying out. No communication. No explanations. Just endless “escalations.” If you’re thinking about using Jackpot City, ask yourself one question: Are you comfortable depositing money somewhere that may fight you for days just to withdraw your own winnings? Because that has been my experience. Very disappointing. Very frustrating. And honestly, completely unacceptable.

However, after comparing it to an authentic Stanley I already own and confirming directly with Stanley South Africa, I have discovered that Makro is selling **** Stanley products — at the same price as the originals. This is *****ulent, misleading, and completely unacceptable. Customers trust Makro to provide authentic products, and instead, we are being sold counterfeits. I demand an immediate refund and a full investigation into how these products are being sold through your stores. I’m extremely furious with your delivery people! First, they hooted loudly outside my house while calling me and shouting as if they had been waiting for hours. I saw them stop, grabbed my keys, and immediately went outside. I told them not to hoot like that or scream at me — it’s completely unacceptable. One of them mouthed something at me and then swore at me. I am absolutely livid! This kind of behaviour is outrageous and I expect this to be addressed immediately!
Absolutely Disgusted – Overpriced *******! For the past three years, I’ve been complaining about my rusting SMEG oven — bought brand new and treated like my baby. First, the paint started bubbling, then came the rust. I reported it immediately. They said someone would come assess it. No one came. I followed up again — this time someone did come, but the assessor was rude and blamed my cleaning products. Seriously? I use the same cleaning products on all my appliances — KitchenAid, air fryer, fridge, washing machine, etc. None of them have rust, only the SMEG. But the rust is just one part of this nightmare. • My oven only works on one setting — all the others are faulty. • The main burner doesn’t ignite properly. I have to try 6–7 times, move the plate around — it’s been an issue since day one. And guess what? My mom has a SMEG oven too — same rusting issues, same burner problems. So clearly, this is not isolated — it’s poor quality across the board. Now SMEG tells me the solution is to replace all the faulty parts — but I must pay, and they’ll give me a measly 10% discount on the invoice! After all this? You pay a premium price expecting premium quality — and instead, you get expensive junk and terrible customer service. They don’t back their brand, they don’t care about loyal customers, and they’re full of excuses. Do yourself a favour — stay FAR away from SMEG. Overpriced. Underperforming. Given the continued inaction and disregard, our next course of action will be to take legal measures against Standard Bank to claim damages and the loss of interest, among other related matters. While we hope it doesn't come to this, we feel compelled to seek justice for the undue hardships my mother has endured. We implore you to intervene in this matter urgently and ensure that my mother's case is addressed promptly and fairly. We believe that Standard Bank should take responsibility for the security of its customers' funds and demonstrate genuine care for their well-being. My mother’s account was hacked and all her crypto was ****** and Luno does nothing about it! It’s disgusting they couldn’t care less.
I’m writing this review on behalf of my mother. Her standard bank account has hacked last year and over R400 000 was removed out of her bank account in the early morning when she was sleeping, no notification from Standard bank on email nothing! The money that was hacked was her last money and that was money that was left by my father that passed away last year. She’s been though so much and the fact that Standard bank still has done absolutely nothing is disgusting. She trusted her money to be safe at your bank , how can you do nothing? I’m taking this into my hands now as my mother can get any assistance form you , if she doesn’t get contacted with any assistance or progress on this matter i will post on every social media page i can find i will go to the news papers and i WILL go see a lawyer to assist!!! She has giving you more than enough time to get to the bottom of this. Enough is enough! Your money is not safe at Standard bank and they will do nothing then money gets hacked out of your account! And the funny thing is this is not the first time this has happened to her at Standard bank. You should be ashamed of yourself for letting someone suffer like this!!!
