I have cancelled my contract on the 5th November 2025 and they asked me to complete a cancellation form on the 13th November 2025, which I did that the same day. Someone from Capital called mid January 2026 promising they will fix the issue and reverse my debit order for December 2025. I noticed Capital is still deducting premiums on my account. I just want to cancel the contract even if they don't return my funds which were not due to them
I am trying to find out why car insurance premium increased by 20% but my car value is depreciating. I tried calling the insurance but I spoke with an AI agent which did not help. I have sent through a call back from the application. I am still waiting for the Call back.
On the 20th December 2025 I was charged a R100 for failed debit order. My monthly debit order for my credit card normal go through on the 27th of each month meaning I am still within time to honor my debit order. Another thing Standard Bank did not take into consideration that I paid R600 on my credit card account on the 18th December 2025 from my Standard Bank current account. Can someone have a look and refund me the fee charged.
On the 27th October 2025, I requested rate review for my home loan from ABSA. ABSA responded with the new rate on the 29th October 2025 which I accepted the same day. On the 30th October ABSA back and said they cannot proceed with the new rate capturing due to FICA capturing. On the 30th October 2025 evening I submitted my FICA document and the next ABSA requested me to resend my ID which I did. I am still waiting for ABSA Home loan department to capture my new rate
On the 8th October 2025 I have requested a refund for school fees, because I overpaid. I provided all the documents that were needed. We were given a ticket number. We have been following up with Customer Care the answer we are getting the ticket has been escalated. It looks like the delay is deliberate because Rosebank College is earning interest on the surplus funds and no one cares as they are benefits from interest earned.
I paid up my account on the 22nd April and I noticed on the 26th April DirectAxis deducted a debit order on my account. I thought they will return the funds after realising the account is paid in full. Today I called asking about the return of funds, the consultant told me they can see the account is settled. But they are asking for proof of payment because I did not ask settlement quote before paying
On the 22nd February 2025 (Saturday), I logged a claim for my geyser with ABSA and received an email advising me they will respond on Monday. I wanted to logged my complain with them since I tried cancelling my insurance with them in 2022 with no success. But I could not wait until Monday so I logged the claim with my other insurer who came within an hour and replaced the geyser the same day. I had to pay an excess amount of R3,500. I logged another claim with ABSA for a refund of half my excess amount. The agent told me ABSA is liable for the half of the damage to my other insurance which I agree. But when I am asking for refund of my excess amount. On the 11th March 2025, they requested the claim details on the other insurer letterhead which I provided them. I still waiting no one is updating me what's going on.
I have been trying to get Installation certificate from Fidelity Secure Drive with no help. I tried sending an email no one is responding and I tried calling as well I get transferred to different department. I was given this number to call 0861737483 but I was put on hold.
I have been trying to access my profile for the last 2 weeks with no success. I am getting an error message and when I try to call their help number it is answered by a robot who does not assist. Also the WhatsApp does not assist. Can someone please assist
I recently settled my car finance account with Wesbank I was told I need to pay a transfer fee and Wesbank will do the transfer themselves. The transfer will take 10 to 12 days and on the 18th August 2023 I sent Wesbank proof of payment and my ID. I only realised on 1st September 2023 nothing was done after following up with Wesbank and I had resend the email now I have to wait 10 to 12 days again.
