Newlands Location Review
It was a good experience. Rooms are cozy and nice but a bit narrow. Food was great. It was a culinary delight. The Indian restaurant there was exceptional. Downside was that there is no gym or swimming pool in the hotel. But, you can get a gym and swimming pool service for free within a 10 minutes walk as they have an agreement. Still, not conducive especially as the website claims there is a gym and swimming pool.

This is where the magic happens when it comes to fruits and vegetables. What an amazing experience walking through this market and checking out all the different prices and stock available. From small to big quantities can be bought here. Boland Tomatoes got the best quality Tomatoes and they are very helpful. Go to Boland!

Visited the Falke sock factory in the Western Cape.
I have supported this shop for many years and absolutely love it! We always come away with a bagful of bargains. Excellent quality, fun designs and colours. The choice of what's available will depend on what stock has come in, since it's a factory outlet that sells end of season ranges and seconds, so you can have fun finding some special delights. Friendly staff and prices way below retail, but it is frustrating that their prices have to be so inconsistent depending on where you buy the socks. They are premium, sure, but I have to consider value for money as well since I am not from the WC.

One of the better student-run hospitals in the WC!
Tygerberg Hospital. A long queue but speedý attention from specialist doctor and student doctors. Comprehensive treatment. Security is good at the entrance, so i would say it is secure. The students are friendly and helpful (the ones I encountered). I would return to this location if I had to even though it is a bit out of the way for me!

Everything was decent but nothing special in the end...
Cappuccino's a bit on the small side, but nice and tasty. I had the lamb benedict. Nice pulled lamb on sourdough topped with the eggs and a dash of hollandaise. It was very nice, but I think I still prefer the bacon option. Nice old building with a great history.

I must give credit where credit is due!
Give credit where credit is due! If I could, I would have joined years ago when they opened. Everytime I contact them, I experience the utmost excellent service over and over again! One Whatsapp and I'm connected within days after signing up! I love how I don't have to deal with Vox/Octotel/Vumatel etc. since Day handles everything from start to finish for you. Got a router problem one morning and then they immediately identified the problem and helped me fix it so I could continue my binge watching. Will definitely recommend to everyone! I have already told family about it as promised. Thanks to Dean in particular and the team for always being available and ready to help! You guys make the service feel so personal.

Reviewing the Virgin Active in Paarl
One of the 14 dumbels has been missing from the rack for atleast a month causing people to hog the other complete set making things difficult. Below is a picture of one of the cable band pull "devices" that we are expected to use. The branch is being revamped, but the existing equipment isn't being looked after.

Brackenfell Location Review
This store represents the vision of the chain that their stores should be classy but yet deliver value for money and a relaxing shopping experience. This store does that to a large degree. Produce was fresh and available, and staff members were friendly and polite. There’s lots of focus on the ready-to-eat aspect of this store in terms of the hot and cold deli, sushi bar and seating area to eat. In the store, there’s also a dedicated baby and pet section, as well as a butcher. Some of the layout choices were somewhat confusing and it would be nice to have a dedicated kosher or halal section as well, depending on the customer preferences. The wait at the cashiers could be improved. I think that they need more during peak times.

Management, you need to review a thing or two...
Not the same old boring veg pizzas! Base was divine, toppings were fresh, and they sure know what extra cheese all about! Ordered online - was quick and easy. Only 4 stars as I feel that the charges for extra veg toppings is too high - could buy and whole punnet of mushrooms or maybe 2 green peppers... perhaps management should look into this?
