We went to the new Food *****s Market in Bassonia at Omni Square. They have a smash burger combo special, when we approached the counter to order, the lady was visibly irritated that we walked up to the counter to order, without greeting she said "what do you want?" we ordered our burgers and she started complaining to her ****orkers that she was going to miss her transport and the later taxi is going to be full. This was at 18:05, the store closes at 19:00. The burgers were basically thrown together, chips not cooked properly, didn't ask us if we wanted sauce or not on the burgers. All in all, not a great first impression of the new store
Conrad and Janes were incredible, so easy to deal with, they truly went above and beyond. These gentleman are an absolute asset to the company.
Retract my 5 Starts - 09/04/2024 called Home-Connect,white box installed inside house porous and crumbling, received Ref:626576 Assisted by Sinaso. Told that because line is still working Vumatel would replace box, no fee involved as the line still operational. Called again 30/04/2024 was told to send a photo on whatsapp of the box and it would be sorted out, fast forward to today, called Home-Connect to find out when will the problem be sorted, told that they will contact Vumatel (meaning it wasn't done prior) and there will be a fee. A fee for what? Inferior quality? The monthly amount I pay increased in December 2023, last week received an email that there is another increase next month. Home connect is getting ridiculous R1058.00 per month and they want to charge for a plastic box. Time to find a new Fibre provider
Very impressed with the service received, the little white box that is attached to the wall has become porous and brittle, I called home connect to report that although everything is still working fine, the wires are exposed, they didn't hesitate to arrange for a new box to be installed. We went to Mugg and Bean New Market for brunch on Monday 1 April 2024. I am a great fan of Mugg and Bean and regularly go to the Brackenhurst and Meyersdal branches. I ordered a Caribbean Mocha ( which is my usual hot drink of choice ) it arrived in a miniature mug, nothing like the other branches, it was cold and it tasted like i was drinking plain milk. I ordered a toasted cheese and tomato on sourdough, i got a toasted sandwich that had literally a tables**** of grated cheese plonked in the middle, not even melted, yet the outside was toasted quite dark. When i opened it to add salt and pepper and saw what it looked like inside, i politely asked the waiter if he could please return it to the kitchen and reiterate that it is a toasted CHEESE. he returned a few seconds later, the kitchen took cold grated cheese, put it on the bread and sent it back to me. I then told the waiter to take it away as there was no way i was eating that. We then ordered a slice of Lemon Meringue, the crust of the Lemon Meringue tasted like a braai grid and it had a harsh chemical smell to it. We called the manager, who showed no interest while we were talking to him, he was watching people walk past and at no time even bothered making eye contact with any of us, we asked him to taste, which he was not interested in doing, he took it back to the kitchen, came back 5 minutes later and asked if they should give us a slice of the "fresh" Lemon Meringue, which we refused. Needless to say, the Mugg and Bean in New Market will never see me again.
I don't do overlays or gel due to a previous bad experience where the nail tech filed through my own nail to the flesh, it took months to heal. I now only paint my nails. I had them painted at 16:45, by 17:30 they all had bubbles on and unbelievably they were still wet at 19:00. They painted on all the coats so quickly, not giving any drying time in between. Very disappointed, going to the beauty salon is supposed to be a treat, my nails ended up being ruined, i had to pack for a family trip and after two hours of wasting time waiting for them to dry, i had to go ahead with my packing. Ended up having my nails redone 2 days later at our holiday destination.
I am still waiting for someone to come back to me regarding my complaint for Order DFD133469854. I was told that it would be addressed with the restaurant and that they would get back to me, it has been a week!
Ordered two meals and extra hot wings on the Mr. D App, ALL the chicken was raw, it was disgusting. Tried calling them, they don't answer the phone, escalated with Mr.D, they also haven't gotten back to me. Came across reviews of other branches while trying to find a contact number, there is not even one good review, how is this franchise still operating?
Telkom! when i hear the name I literally cringe. I have never come across such incompetence. Spoke to Asaad in Mobile cancellations/retentions department, he promised high and low that my account would not be debited again. but ofcourse as is Telkoms modus operandi, my account was debited AGAIN! Third month that this has happened, another call another promise, but guaranteed next month they debit me again. There should be a class action suit brought against this thieving company!
SARS has done it again! It is as if they are on a totally different planet to everyone else! I have lodged a dispute for the umpteenth time since 2019, only to get a reply saying "no dispute lodged within the prescribed timeframe" what more can one possibly do, I CANNOT keep taking off work to go to SARS, the call centre CANNOT or WONT or DOESNT KNOW HOW to assist. Where to from here? I will not pay money that I do not owe, yet i cannot get a resolution. It is making me physically sick!!!!!
