Today I had the worse, driest chicken in my life and so did my son...so bad I through it away. We bought two 1/4 Chicken Meals from Mall of The South and a King Burger Meal, I stay less 5minutes from home. When we got home we sat for dinner and had the worst tasting chicken ever, even my son asked; "Daddy is your chicken OK, mine is hard" The chicken was so bad we had to throw it away. I will never buy from Steers ever again, I wont even order sand from them.
People will always find time to complain, but hardly time to thank people and or companies that stand out and really excel in what they do. These are people and companies that stand out from their competitors. One such person (people) and company is Darren and his Team from Andres Panel and Paint. I would like to take time and thank Darren and his team from Andres Panel and Paint for the professionalism. From the on set, the day when the insurance approved to have my car towed to Andres Panel and Paint. Darren called me and ensured that my car was collected even though it was already late, the car was collected and towed to their premises. Darren called me the next morning and asked me to come in to the panel beater, on arrival I was met with friendliness and immediately I noticed the premises was clean and could already sense the professionalism of the company I am about to deal with for the repair to the car. NB: Now I bought this car brand new in 2008 and it has sentiment value to me. Not only that, I gave the car to my son on his 18th birthday so that he can enjoy the car and be a proud owner of a now semi-collectors vehicle. When the car was bumped, the insurance offered to settle me for the claim, however I refused the settlement and wanted the car repaired. The insurance referred the repair to Andres Panel and Paint. Darren took me through to damages and he assured me that the car will be repaired back to spec and to the state of how the car was prior to the accident. I was nervous and worried to say the least, but Darren's calmness gave me a sense of hope that the repair is in THE HANDS OF PROFFESSINALS...I left and I allowed the process to commence. Now, during the repair I went to look at the progress . Every time I met with Darren he was friendly, he was professional and accommodating and listened to my concerns and request and again assured me that all will be OK. There was a time with something small when I said: "Leave it, no need to fix that it is OK no one will see it" but Darren responded: "No, we have to fix it properly" I left that day being positive that my car is in THE HANDS OF PROFESSINALS. Fast forward, I received a picture from Darren on the status of the car with polishing and QA basically outstanding. I showed my son the picture, he smiled and I said: "Almost back home" I would like to commend Darren and his team from Andres Panel and Paint. These people are not only professional with repairing vehicles, they are your partner and your guide through out the process. I would recommend anyone to use them, really I would. They good in what they doing and when you take time while sitting at their reception, you would notice on their walls that Andres Panel and Paint is approved with all Manufactures. Once again "THANK YOU DARREN, I REALLY APPRECIATE THE PRIDE AND EFFORT YOU GUYS TOOK IN REPAIRING THE CAR. Regards Cameron Theron
On Sunday 6th April 2025 I was involved in a car accident of which I sustained head injuries. I was rushed to hospital for treatment, with that said the Tuesday just after my accident and after reporting the accident to my insurance brokers (Westwood Insurance Brokers) I received a call from Kerissa Pillay. Firstly the care and assistance I received from Kerissa Pillay during the call was heart warm. She took the time to ask how I was and doing after the accident, I informed her that I had head injuries and currently suffering from headaches. Kerissa further asked if she could assist by forwarding the claim form to my fiancé and could assist by helping my fiancé complete the form. I informed Kerissa that it is OK and that I will complete the claim form once back at home. After completing the claim form and forwarding this back, I have only received consistent feedback and world class treatment from Kerissa with feedbback every step of the process on where the claim status was. The assessor was appointed with in 48hours of the claim and the car has been assessed and towed to a reputable repairer. Still during this time I received consistent feedback and follow-up emails and calls from Kerissa while the car is being assessed by the repairer. I thus want to thank Kerissa Pillay from Westwood Insurance Brokers for her excellent customer service and support during this time. I would like to thank Kaylene Surjoo from Westwood Insurance Brokers for her prompt and excellent customer service. Yesterday (4th February 2025) I called her to log a windscreen claim, I was stressed to have the windscreen replaced asap as the car needs to attend a car show. I would like to give honor and praise to the outstanding customer service received from Thomas Smit who dealt with my claim. Thomas Smit went out of his way, not only to resolve my claim in a timeous manner but for his people and customer skills! I honor and I praise his people skills, these and such skills you can not train, you can not buy and neither can you teach such excellence. Thomas Smit is a valuable asset to Outsurance, if he is not promoted to a Customer Relations Manager already by the end of this compliment then I hope Outsurance does so asap. Thomas Smit, thank you very very much for your assistance. I really appreciate and value your assistance. Today I after fetching my son from school we stopped at Mulbarton Pick N Pay to get a few groceries. While shopping we bought pies as they had a special on the pies. We commenced to shopping for few other needed groceries. On our way home my son started eating the Chicken and Mushroom pie and said: "Dad the pie does not taste right" I took the pie as I could smell it does not smell right, i looked inside the pie to find rotten filling in the pie and smelling/stinking from the rotten filling. I turned around and requested to speak to the manager who was not available, I then requested a refund and gave all the groceries back and the rotten pies. I left a disgusted ex-customer I will never buy from PNP again.
