I am absolutely disgusted by Discovery. I have made a divorce claim for the full cash component to be paid out, and split in half. I am also no longer with the employer who I was covered under. They are refusing to pay me out after misleading me and saying I should expect payment around this week. They're stating the funds must stay with them or be moved. I specifically chose full cash withdrawal on the form. They're now lying and saying no one told me I was going to get a cash pay out, after a consultatant said, you will receive a savings payout and then your retirement component. I indeed received two emails and sms on the two payments tax directives and emails stating the amounts would reflect in my account in 2 to 3 working days. I received the savings only. Dimakatso assisted and is the one who stated her supervisor can't find any calls about me being paid out, absolute lies. I hate Discovery so much, I no longer have any of their products but was forced to take retirement with them due to company policies. Fix this or I'm presenting the evidence and case in court.
I bought tickets for Big Day Out, but now I can't attend because my daughter has a school thing in KwaZulu-Natal, and I have to attend that as a single parent. Now these people are asking me for paperwork to prove this, I asked my mom to take a picture of the letter and I sent it through. Many weeks later, they ask me for a clearer picture of a note that's probably been thrown out because my mom can't find it anymore. I added the refund guarantee on both tickets but now I have to jump through fire hoops to get my money back??? This is absolutely disgusting service. I will never choose a concert over being a parent, because that's what you clearly want me to do.
So i wrote off my car and my account was settled. VWFS still debited me and I'm here begging for a refund. Please pay me back my money. Your consultants keep saying it's coming, like what nonsense is this? It's been way more than 7 working days. This is such an inconvenience
I settled my debt and requested a settlement letter because I'm trying to get a new car.They sent me a settlement letter back dated to 2023. I directly sent that to my car finance application and they pointed this out to me. And now it makes me look *****. This letter was sent by Lesego Mono. I am moving my salary as well, useless bank. As is I sent a complaint and they're telling me to wait 5 working days, absolute nonsense. On top of everything else, I'm sitting in the secure messages being transferred and passed around like a hot potatoe. You guys are the absolute worst!
You can't switch off car guard in time, the app lag time is so insanely delayed. Definitely looking for a new tracker.

I absolutely hate this bank. They debited my account on the 25th and I called twice to double check if they did, and the consultants confirmed. Next thing on the 1st of October I received a text saying I haven't made a payment. I made a payment immediately. Now my credit score is messed up and I was avoiding exactly that. I use my credit for my business, and now that will be badly affected. I hate capitec with everything in me.
