I was charged R126 for a trip I did NOT take, an unauthorised card transaction that immediately raises concerns about how insecure card details are on this app. This is not a minor “technical issue”; it is a serious breach of trust. Customers should not have to constantly fear random deductions from their bank accounts. What makes this worse is that this is not an isolated incident. Numerous users have raised similar complaints, yet Uber continues to operate as if this is acceptable. In addition, the “Wait & Save” option has become completely unreliable and unsafe. Drivers are forced to accept trips that are 15–20+ minutes away, only to cancel when they are close to arrival. Customers are then left waiting an additional 10–20 minutes for another driver, repeating the same cycle. This defeats the very purpose of Uber — reliability, safety, and time efficiency. For a company that built its reputation on convenience and trust, Uber is failing badly on both fronts. The lack of accountability, poor customer support responses, and repeated unresolved complaints are extremely concerning. Until Uber addresses: • Unauthorised card charges • Card security concerns • Driver cancellation abuse • Declining reliability I cannot recommend this service to anyone
Our WiFi has been down for a week. Rise telecoms have not been answering phones nor have they been responding to messages and emails, for a week. Technicians came on a Friday during working hours and I told them that nobody communicated with me, that they will be sending technicians and unfortunately I am at work, they promised to come back on Monday. I moved things around, and waited the whole day, they were a no show. It is Wednesday today, still no WiFi network, no technician and none of their support lines are working. I am frustrated because I am paying for a service I am not receiving. I paid for this WiFi and yet I had to buy extra data to allow me to work from home, which is totally unacceptable. I do not recommend. Wholeheartedly. Also the speed of the WiFi is super slow that some of the apps don't work, they require actual data connection. Crazyyyy business. Terrible WiFi company. I really, truly do not recommend shame!
I have been doing my loan application with Nedbank for the past 2 weeks. And none of their agents at the back office assist. It's either they send you emails that do not make sense or tell you to contact customer service. And honestly, they're customer service is actually better than all the agents that work at the back office. This lady, Catherine Masita, is rude and has 0 customer service. I sent her an email, asking her to help me understand what the issue and she said "contact customer service" and then when I do, she doesn't want them to put me through to her. I am changing my bank, this is utter nonsense!
Grammarly literally just ****ing deducted R2704.05 from my account without my consent. They're telling me about giving a percentage of that back like I said they can take that money in the first place. Terrible company with no regard for people whatsoever. Who in their right mind would pay to get a spelling check when you can do that for free? Now they don't want to give me my refund.
I go through the same process ALWAYS with Uber changing fares like it wasn't a planned trip. When people order an Uber car, with a certain amount, Uber should stick to that amount because it is causing unnecessary charges that would've been avoided should they have communicated it prior to taking and confirming that ride. It is highly unprofessional and ********* of them to do this multiple times especially to their loyal customers. I am utterly bewildered and in awe at the service that Uber has been offering me. Especially, as an Uber 1 member. Who never delays in making a yearly payment. Treat your clients better and remember that this ride is ordered based on the affordability and financial means. You increasing the price without my consent, means that you are *****ing from me and forcing me to pay extensive amounts of money for traffic that was not created by me. It is unfortunate but I should not be made to pay for that, when it is also not my fault. I am also inconvenienced.
I have never, ever seen such a mediocre or support services from any other company, but WEBAFRICA. Their services are such a joke and their sense of urgency is even worse. If you're not always talking to a robot that is also dumb and has close to no answers and solutions, you're being ignored. No one gets back to you unless it's a sales call. You wait on the call for close to an hour then they hang up. They are the most useless internet providers I have ever came across. And what's worse, they never reply to any queries. My question is, why are we still supporting such idiotic businesses who do not give a rats ass **** about their own company? I am so livid!
Driver decided it is a good idea to call me and demand for that I pay R100 for a R41 trip, he even goes as far as saying I can send the balance to his account. The nerve!! These are the people that end up killing passengers and raping women, the same drivers that beat people up for money that they do not deserve. Car details are as follows: Polo Vivo, White, HGP408L. And as per usual, bolt won't do anything about this driver.
Yoh the worst service ever! Uber charged me an extra amount because the driver decided to take a longer route and I reported this, and they returned the money into my bank account but did not clear it from my Uber account, which is totally absurd because I did notify them that I will not be paying for a service not rendered. And as if that's not worse, as an UberOne client, they do not reply to any emails, and they hardly if ever respond to queries. I am so ****ed by this to a point that I even want to cancel my subscription because of the terrible services received. This is utter nonsense! And I do not recommend them, they are almost the same as bolt now. *******.
I am a new Vuma client and all I can say is, DO NOT BUY It. It is nonsense network and their customer service is even worse. Since I installed it, I have never had a stable connection, ever! Their WhatsApp lines are never answered, they're phones take you straight to voicemail or you hold for longer than 5 mins then they cut the call, and never call you back. I have never been so frustrated and annoyed before because we use fibre to work, so I don't know how to be okay with not having a service that I paid for. This is nonsense. Nx.
At this point, I am even over this Hello Peter reviews on rain. They are seriously annoying me now. I paid rain last month in August and furthermore cancelled their services thereafter. I then checked if their internet was still working just to make sure that it is cancelled, and by the grace of God, it was not working. I relaxed and crushed their SIM, and moved on, only for them to to attempt deducting on the 20th of September, which is by far very sketchy and suspicious. Why would you still want to take my money when I already cancelled your services? Their services are nonsense and their call centre customer service is even worse, I honestly do not recommend this to anyone at all. They annoy the **** out of me, and if anything, they better refund me because I am really getting ****ed off by their constant idiotic behaviour.
