First, I would like to thank Mr Mandla who helped me with my application for a flat. I even paid R13 251 on Monday 16 Feb 2026. I Also thank the Caretaker of Vergesig Flats, Mr Deon. The 2 stars are for these two employees. Today, 20/02/26 I went to sign the contract at the offices at Loftus Park. I was excited that I would me moving in on the 28th/ 02. I won't mention the employee that served me, her name still sends shivers down my spine. 1. The two tenants who signed up must be physically there ...( I tried to explain that the other tenant has a 4 weeks baby who is sick, " Unfortunately, you can't move in till she signs." She retorted. 2. " By the way, why didn't you write that there's a four weeks old who will be staying with you??" I thought she was joking, and smilingly said, " Even this 4 year old is the bigger sibling, will also be with us!" I didn't know i was pouring fuel on fire!! " So, you are not honest people!! One and half bedroom is for 3 people! Not 4!! You want to overcrowd the place??" I was sitting down and she was standing...I felt like a small child caught *****ing candy. " Bring their birth certificates on Monday..." " the baby is sick.." " Unfortunately, rules are rules..." and she stormed out. Jooo...I could have cried!! Another lady came...I just said, please, just give me my refund, I never want to come here again!! She told me to send the Bank Confirmation letter and they will send my cash after 21 working days!! My heart still races now...19:02 yet this happened around 15:00. God help us poor old ladies be treated well by these young people. I just hope they refund all my money. I used to be their customer from way back in 2011 till 2022, they were THE BEST. Hence I wanted to go back, not knowing things have changed tremendously. I experienced Grea

I lost my cellphone on the 12/01/25. I reported to Edgars Store since it was ensured. The saleslady wrote for me a "To do list" that I should have ready, so that I would call IUA. 1. I managed to have cellphone blocked and given ITC number on the 14/01/25 2. I had IMEI number for the phone 3. Police gave me Case number on 16/01/25 Then I called IUA. A guy picked my call, said according to the system my phone was still active, I must go back to CellC and have it blacklisted. 🙃 Called CellC , they said their system shows it's blacklisted. Called IUA, a lady said I claimed my phone already, I must get a usage report from CellC, who said they can't promise anything. My question is...does that mean my money 💰 should just go - because I don't have a usage report?? I only claimed once since I got the insurance-( got insurance around 2012, claimed a year later...then I learned my lesson in how to keep my phone safe. More than a decade later, it got lost...got all required documents in place...but...I can't get a phone!!! I claimed my first fone so smoothly, 5 star service more than a decade ago. Now...so Heartbroken indeed...my installments for insurance are still being deducted...Please help!!!Already emailed, called, UIA ,Sohva ...no avail
Megan Moodley, an online saleslady for MTN is THE BEST!! She facilitated my upgrade, then when I experienced challenges with my product, I emailed MTN, Megan got back to me today ( 07/01/25) I was sooo elated!! She has made my year great in advance!!! Such customer service is what we yearn for. We'll done Megan!!
I wonder how they charge their water and especially electricity. 1. Water : I have observed that my water bill stays at R400 and above. I spent the whole of October and November doing handwash, only on Saturdays, my water Bill never dropped below R400. I use washing machine, so I was trying to get the bill below the R400-450- I'm convinced now that it's a fixed bill!!( imagine, it's only me and a child staying in the flat) 2. I've been observing my electricity, they lounged a new app for us to follow. Mmm, it's amazing. The units drop as usual- whether i have switched on the kettle or not.( I never use geyser, I hate cooking- so I cook once or twice a week- just warm things in microwave) Today ( 8/12/24)i haven't switched on ANYTHING BUT my units already recorded 3.56 gone, now I see another 10.25!!! Just interested to see by the evening how the readings will be!! Lezanda Flats water meters and electricity meters must be fixed. They have great errors, we end up working for water and electricity only. How can electricity be consumed when I'm not using it??
It's more than 12 years that I have been an MTN contract customer. My nightmare started on 22 June 2024 when one of the sales consultants talked me into an upgrade. I wasn't THAT ready, but the way she insisted, I thought, let me just get the phone. I should have stuck to my intuition and do it later. My woes haven't stopped, despite " promise to pay" , trying My best paying up to a thousand per month( which I had told the consultant " I CAN'T" My salary won't allow. I have been left in arrears, sim card suspended abruptly. When I call, one consultant tells me " don't worry, your account is now up to day" after 5 days the sim card is suspended. I don't really know how to get out of this quagmire. I used to love MTN but mmm I wish they can take back the phone.
