I bought a bed from Sleep masters online on the 25th of September and the bed was delivered on 29 September. Upon delivery I decided the bed is not what I wanted and the next day (30 September) I called their customer service to indicate that I would like to return the bed. It took them a month and a half (12 November) to actually collect the bed from my place and process my refund and exactly 2 months after buying the bed I still haven't gotten my refund. After countless calls and back and forth emails to the customer service and head office, at one point i even called their warehouse myself because it didn't look like headoffice was of any help at all. At some point my calls went unanswered for a week. Their service sucks. It's like they are running a ****a shop! I mean...do they even have a return policy? Infact shouldn't they publish their return policy or Ts & Cs online and customers consent to it before we pay our money. They are not serious about their customers at all! Period!
I received an sms that an instant money transfer from 2017 had not been redeemed and that I should call in. And I did exactly that. I just called the call centre and I was transferred to the instant money department. I explained my story to the the agent, he asked for my no.s and he went quite thereafter... so I wasnt sure if he was still on the line or opening my profile so I asked if he was still there because he went quite on me for a moment so he then said he was still busy. But I mean he could have let me know... a simple "hold while i open the system" or something to that effect would have been great after all I am calling from a prepaid no. But he then raised his voice and asked why I was fighting. But I explained to him that he could have at least let me know what he was doing. Mind you I've called this centre so many times I know the standard procedure by now. He gave me the no.s that I send the money to and then still asked me if the voucher was sent by me or not.... so I asked a valid question... that..."but you just gave me the no.s so it should say on your system that I sent the money". In the first place im thinking the sms was sent to me because "i"sent the money. He was either not focused, uninterested or does not know his job. I then proceeded to ask how I can reverse the transaction? His exact answer to me was, "how did you send it"? Did I pick up my phone, spent my money to get info and still get asked such questions?!? I would not have called in the first place if I knew how to reverse the transaction. My airtime even finished before he could tell me how to reverse the transaction! He took his time or he was either wasting my time on purpose! Is this the part where I should spend my hard earned money, call in again and ask the same questions?!? He was rude! Unprofessional! Impatient! Lack people s****s!....
I went to the Hatfield Telkom store to do a sim swop. I get there and learn that they only take debit cards to pay for the sim swop. This after i had phoned the call centre to do the swop telephonically.... which is popular believe. She then told me that i needed to go to a nearest store with my ID and latest proof of address and conveniently forgot to tell me that the stores only take debit cards. All of this after taking 4 taxis to and fro, taken some time out of my studying to go do a sim swop and then boom!! Let me also mention that while at the store 2 more people were turned back for the same reasons as mine, the store assistant even told me that even the other lady i saw had turned back for the same reason. Now i wonder how many people actually get their time waisted just because telkom failed to inform. What will that bit of extra information from the call centre would have saved me a lot of time and energy. Do you know what this then means..... i must again catch 4 rides, take another 3 hours getting to Hatfield, spend my hard earned money just to go and pay you R35!! I stand to be corrected, it is popular believe that sim swop can be done telephonically but your Call centre training failed to include just that little bit of extra information! Imagine the hundreds of people that just bear and grin!!
I went to Topshop Menlyn for Black Friday. There was a dress i had been eyeing for a while and it was on sale but I wanted a size 8 and there was no size 8 on the rails so I went to enquire at the till if there was any chance of getting the right size dress. It was my lucky day because the lady (Athachia Mashele: name on my till slip)was about to give me the right size dress from a pile of clothes behind the counter when the lady at the next till said "no! That dress is for another customer". Now my issue is that I'm also a customer and I wanted to buy the dress immediately. How come the dress was kept aside for that customer? And how did they come about the decision to keep the dress for whoever. So I left my no.s with Atharchia that if the "special customer " does not come for the dress they must call me and I would come back for the dress....to no avail. When it was getting to 5pm and the shop still hadn't called I took the liberty to call myself and the lady I spoke to said they were very busy and she would get Atharchia to call me and nobody got back to me. Now I'm just wondering what time the customer came for the dress? If they came for it at all!? And why they deserved the special treatment of sale items being kept especially for them?!?
I went to Fashion Express Arcadia, Sammy Marks, Church str & Gezina Galleries looking for a pair of black shorts to no avail. I finally decided to ask the lady at Church str to check for me on the system where they had my size. Luckily for me they had in Mabopane. She gave me their no.s & the item code. I called them & they said they only keep aside for 24 hrs, so since it was a Tues i said i would call back on Fri so i can collect the shorts on Sat & indeed i called again on Friday.<br> <br> Come Sat i drove to Mabopane, mind you i had never been to Mabopane before. Only to get there & they hadn't put the pants aside. For some weird reason i took the pants on the floor but the pleats on the one leg were lose. So i went to the till hoping to exchange with the pair they had kept for me... to my surprise!! So i cant help but wonder what could have happened if someone had bought those pants, after i had spend my money calling & on petrol, let alone my time!! <br> <br> I think they have no regard for their customers!!<br> <br> And because i had fallen in love with those pants i still bought them despite the 1 side threading being lose but shouldn't the pants be marked down or something?
My colleagues and i came to the store to buy lunch as usual & so i decided to buy 2 doughnut, 1 creme, 1 custard. While on the queue i realized that the creme doughnut had been priced wrong, 2 items instead of 1. So i quickly left the queue to go rectify the mistake & rushed back. As i got to the queue my colleagues were just rounding up paying so i put my things there to pay since i was right there on the queue with them & this lady refused to till my stuff. <br> <br> I explained to her that i was right there on the queue with them & had left to go fix the price, that she honestly did not expect me to go start the line that was already full by the time i got back! & she still refused to help me! Mind you it was just the 2 items, the time we spent there trying to convince each other that i was on the queue she could have helped me & saved everybody the time & the headache. So i asked her to call the manager & she out-rightly said \there is the office! Go call her yourself!"<br> <br> Yes she claims she did not see me on the queue but its in the way she spoke to me!! With all the attitude in the world!! Her customer skills are non-existent"
I bought BULLBRAND a week ago, it was on special for R15 if my memory serves me right. When i got home the contents were spoiled. It had white large rings, it was clear it was rotten! So i checked the expiry date on the can, it had expired in May. Never seen anything so disgusting!! And i do not think i'll ever buy BULLBRAND again. <br> <br> But now i cant help but think it was on special because it had passed its expiry date and the shop did not want to run a loss so they put it up on special.<br> <br> Forget the inconvenience it caused when i got home and i wanted to prepare a meal for my family and was faced with that and it was the only thing in the house at the time, and the money spent on it... i mean R15 is a lot of money given the state of the economy, i am more concerned with the fact that the store is selling expired food to the public.<br> <br> I think this is a very serious matter and must be reported to the health authorities.
