I purchased amongst other things, a Defy freezer for the price of R2999 on a "fire sale". After paying and looking at the invoice, I was charged R3199 for the freezer. Absolute disgrace. I have sent 2 queries to their customer care centre but I get absolutely no response. Be very careful when ordering from this company.
A call out fee of R780 is absolutely ridiculous. More than the cost of a doctors visit. They need to realise that there a lot of pensioners in Ballito.

A Hellopeter complaint is the only way I can get any assistance with Tracker. Not one but 2 Tracker units were installed in our vehicle on the 24 June 20023. I only received the login details on the 12 July. When I went into the system, I could not find our vehicle. Tracker then sent me a note to say the unit was faulty and someone will contact me in 72 hours. So, in the meantime we are paying for a service we are not receiving AND our vehicle is not covered if ******. How much flippin longer must I wait for a resolution. Please guys, this is the last company you must use for any tracking.
I had tracker installed 2 weeks ago and no one gives me login details to track the vehicle I have spent many hours on the phone to them and there is just no progress. They must come and remove the Tracker unit and I will find another company to assist.
I took a faulty ceiling fan (still under warrantee) to Ballito AC/DC on the 8th March 2023. I was told it would be sent away for repair. On the 8th April, I went to the shop only to be told that the fan was still not back. He promised to get it from the repair and deliver it to me personally on the morning of the 11th April. It is now close of business on the 12th April and still no fan. Also no word from the manager. AC/DC will never see me again.
Pick n Pay online purchase is a disgrace. Placed an order and was told order would be delivered on 18th Nov at 18h00. On the 19th I phoned and threatened to cancel to order. It was delivered nearly 24 hours after it was supposed to be delivered. Missing items like eggs, cheese etc yet charged for it.
Makro offer free delivery and tell you the SLA is 7 days to deliver. Then after 7 days you query and they tell you 7 WORKING days (I thought Makro operate 7 days a week?). Now they say there are high volumes and the wait will be longer. The call centre dont answer the phone. Disgusting service - to say the least. Rather charge for deliver and get it to the customer.....
I paid a deposit of R8000 on the 27th July. No garage door and I have been promised a refund since the 20th Aug and haven't heard from anyone since the 6th Sept. They do not answer their phones or reply to electronic queries. Time to move to another service provider.
