What a pleasant experience it was doing business with Mambo's. Friendly staff and smiling, helpful service! I spent considerable time looking through big plastic containers at a large, well-known retailer close by. The products were either damaged, incomplete or had clear signs of previous use. No assistance from staff either. So, Mambo's was a breath of fresh air. I found a better quality product and saved R130 at the same time!

Efficient order processing and quick delivery. Very good pricing too on the items I ordered. The web site is impressive but seems to be quite slow - this could be an issue with local network quality though?

I have always enjoyed the wide product range and competitive pricing of this company but sadly my experience with their so-called "Easy Returns and Refunds" promise leave much to be desired. My order placed on 24th June included two Adata Flash Drives, one of which was dead on arrival. I was impressed that the return authorisation and collection happened very quickly but alas, thereafter it has been nothing but empty promises. So, two months after ordering, I'm still without a replacement unit or as I would now prefer, a refund.
Very impressive service! Signing up and making payment for pre-paid electricity was a breeze - they certainly live up to their customer service promise; I had a phone call from an agent within minutes, asking if I needed any assistance. Well done!
I submitted an important document on a Wednesday for Overnight Counter-To-Counter delivery, in asking the clerk when delivery could realistically be expected, I was told the next day, latest in two days' time. When calling customer service to track & trace the item I was told there were severe backlogs in the system and that the item was only likely to arrive after the weekend. The first delivery notification (for an overnight service) was only received after seven days! And guess what, it was for collection at the wrong post office! Their are many excellent and very efficient courier companies around - they compete very well on price and more importantly, they deliver on their promises...

It's been so long since I've used the SA Post Office that I've forgotten about their pathetically poor service history. On Wednesday morning I submitted a document for Overnight Counter-To-Counter delivery. When asking the clerk when delivery could realistically be expected, I was told the next day, latest in two days' time. When calling customer service to track & trace the item I was told there were severe backlogs in the system and that the item was only likely to arrive after the weekend - that is at least five days as opposed to next day, latest two days as promised! Surely staff at the accepting branch should be informed of possible delays and should inform customers accordingly? Too much to expect of course... Anyway, thank you for creating very efficient private courier networks!
I signed up for a 24 month Data contract on 12 March 20, very specifically declining all insurance options. Yet, I have been charged an additional R6.99 per month for so-called Contract Insurance which I never authorised and for which I have no details or terms. I personally visited the dealer during March 20 and was told it was sorted out. I have since lodged four additional complaints and follow-ups via both e-mail and the call centre. In each instance the queries were supposedly "Resolved" but the unauthorised charges continue. On 31 August 20 Vodacom notified me via email that my query was "resolved" and that the "Contract Insurance Was Cancelled", yet the unauthorised and fraudulent overcharging continues and the Bill Due still shows the unauthorised insurance amount. No mention of paying back the overcharges either. So, generally a most unpleasant experience with this company. I will certainly think much more than twice before entering into any debit order payable contracts with any of the mobile operators...
