So, I got gosolr and the installation date was the 30th of January. Thats where my problems started. Since then I've not had a 100% working system. Every time they arrive to fix something, they break something else. The installation was a nightmare. Took them close to 12 hours and it still was not finished, the panels were only put up in the dark, they destroyed my ceiling and big surprise....the batteries weren't working. Came back on Saturday to fix everything. Wednesday I get a call that the panels aren't correct. Thursday they back to fix that and rewire everything. Then, my usage readings are wrong. They come back and try to convince me the usage is correct (200 watts with all the tbs and lights on). Friday there's a power outage, guess what, no power from the inverter, nothing. Friday afternoon they back, same guys but then they try to blame the shoddy wiring on someone else. QA guy phones and says he needs to come check the system. Tuesday he arrives to check the system, dont know what he did, but the usage is then again all wrong and when he leaves there is a wire sticking out the DB board. According to him they installed the solar panels on the wrong spot. Friday they are all back here, en masse. Re-wire the DB board per "GoSolr" standard. Leave Friday afternoon. Saturday evening we have a power outage.....guess what.....the office has no backup power and none of the fridges have backup power. We had to run extension chords everywhere to give things on. Logged tickets.....they get mysteriously closed without a single person showing up. Stay away from this company, the rental is not worth the grey hairs
So I am expecting a parcel from a company that send it through bob go. Biggest mistake EVER! Bobgo in their infinite wisdom decided to use the biggest conglomerate of idiots on the planet: Fastway. So I get the waybill number from bob go for the package. Guess what, that tracking number does not exist on Fastway's website. It showed on bob go's website as out for delivery, yesterday already, guess what, no parcel was delivered. It still shows out for delivery yesterday, but I cant track it on Fastway's website or WhatsApp cause they say it does not exist. Next stop, a case opened for *****
Try to get hold of them? Uphill battle. I have called, but after 30 minutes just gave up, this was the second attempt after the First one ended with the phone being put down in my ear. I've tried the WhatsApp. Tried to add solar equipment to my house on the policy. It's now 4 days and they have not responded on WhatsApp ever. Wait till I cancel the debit order then you'll see how quickly they respond
The absolute worst company ever!!! The installers pitched up at 10, after punching a hole throw my ceiling , roof ***** protruding through the ceiling . A hole drilled through the hallway wall by mistake, they finally started pulling the panels on the roof at 7pm. Only to struggle with the batteries . Absolutely pathetic
I have a home loan with FNB, and trust me that was a nightmare to get the debit order date correct. So I want to get solar for the house. Guess what, I have to do it through that ****py app. Just one problem, I cant verify my app cause I dont have a current account, so I have no option to verify. But back to the solar financing. So I filled in the form, through the nav section of the app. Only to get an automated response that the person is currently on a year end function and will be back in the office on 13 December 2023.......we are in 2026, it's been 4 days. There is no way to contact FNB loans for soar financing. Going to secure app is also a futile action as they, keep on going to ....erm boop you are not verified, not a single person has addressed the issue on secure chat, or given me an email or phone number to call to apply. They dont really want the business, they want you to be verified
Guess what? My line is not even 6 days old and guess what?! It's down again! It took two weeks of battling to get the line relocated to my new address. 6 Days later and the line is dead yet again. No one else line in town, just mine. Frogfoot cannot even find their way out of a paper bag with a map and then they play service provider. Absolute absolute pathetic service
I am getting fed up with fibre service providers and ISP's holding us to ransom!!!! Your Service ice SUCKS. I cant wait for starlink to start operating in South Africa to break this pathetic companies! I logged my relocation order at Afrihost and Forefoot in December already for moving to a new address in January. The current tenant has already given notice to his ISP. Guess what? Nothing is happening, I am moving on the 5th and am told I'll have to wait till the 23rd before I can get my fibre activated, just cause they have to wait.....getting early release? Nope, frogfoot and Afrihost and just twiddling their thumbs they dont care , they getting paid anyway. Two weeks ago it was still on track. Now if I want fibre by the 5th, I need to apply for a new fibre line to the already existing one, and then.....gues what......wait two weeks. Absolutely pathetic!!
Got a homeland from FNB, it registered on the 15th of December. Got my debicheck mandate from the bank for the debit order on the last day of January 2026. Guess what, this morning I woke up with a big surprise, FNB just decided to take the money now, and since I already paid rent for my last month, my account is now going into the red. They are the worst bank, and dont even try the app, unless you have a current account you cant verify so you cant do a secure chat
I made an international payment 2 days ago. According to the system it should reflect in the destination bank account today. Guess what, standard bank forex has not even processed it, it's still sitting on processing, the money is still sitting in my account. Pathetic, ***********, useless. The best way to describe them
So, I am buying a home (thank god not with standard bank), and wanted to add an overdraft to my current account, just in case my payments received are late (being an independent contractor). I just want the overdraft the sit there and cover the short fall, just in case. So app**** online, submitted my bank statements on the application, got my email stating its pre approved and if they received the documents it would be 24 hours till its linked to my account. Done all that, guess what, nothing. It's now 48 hours. When I phone the call centre I get told it's sitting on contract signed. When I escalate, I get told the sales person handling it will call me, nothing. I can't even try an alternative option like revolving credit, cause it now just states, application being processed. So much for 24 hours, and so much for any any feedback. Definitely thinking of moving my current account and all my other savings accounts to the bank where my homeland is, at least then I get a better rate. Standard Bank is pathetic and going out of their way to lose clients
