I am very disappointed with Takealot’s service. I placed an order because it stated the item would be delivered the next day. After payment was processed, I was informed that delivery would only be the following week, Tuesday the 27th. Because I urgently needed the item, I had to buy it from another service provider. I requested a refund and spoke to Kabelo.ST, who confirmed that the refund had been processed. Shortly after, I received an email stating that I would not be refunded and that the money was placed into Takealot credit instead. This is unacceptable. I do not shop on Takealot regularly, so credit is not useful to me. I spent additional money elsewhere due to incorrect delivery information. I am unhappy with how this was handled and I am requesting a full refund to my original payment method.
I experienced very poor service at Pedro Northmead drive-thru on 13 January 2026 after 5pm. Staff were unfriendly, left me on speaker while chatting with friends, and showed bad attitudes. The cashier, Khanya, was rude and cut off the feedback section of the receipt. Food was carelessly packed, sauces spilled, and no straws or serviettes were given. Overall, the experience was disappointing and unprofessional, especially compared to the better service at the Lakefield branch.
FNB Insurance is completely unreliable and misleading when it comes to their Rims, Tyres, and Dents benefits. They have been debiting my account monthly for over a year, but when I tried to claim after potholes damaged my rims, tyres, and caused dents, the process was absurd. I was told to drive nearly 270 km just to take pictures of the damage—and when I asked who would cover fuel costs, they outright refused. None of these requirements was ever explained when I signed up, and now I am left frustrated and out of pocket. To make matters worse, after submitting my claim, FNB debited my account again just two days later, and now they claim they cannot assist me. When I cancelled the benefit, they refused to refund any of the premiums I had paid over the past year. This is not insurance—it’s a trap that takes your money and offers nothing when you actually need it. FNB Insurance lacks transparency, accountability, and basic customer care. Save yourself the headache and avoid them at all costs.
HelloPeter, Uber Eats deducted money from my bank account for a food order from 2024 that failed and was never delivered. On 17 December 2025, after reinstalling the app, I noticed the charge. Uber admits the order failed but is refusing to refund me. I don’t understand how I can be charged for a service that was never provided. This is unacceptable. I want my money back and an explanation.
Unjani Clinic Viljoenskroon – Misleading and Overcharging I contacted Unjani Clinic Viljoenskroon on 9 Sept 2025 about my daughter’s 9-month injection. The nurse told me the cost was R250. I stay in Polokwane while my daughter stays with her dad’s parents in Viljoenskroon, so I drove all the way there based on that information. When I arrived on 13 Sept 2025, I was suddenly told the price is R1,600. This is unacceptable and feels like a ****. Other patients also said this branch changes prices depending on the person. I will no longer use this clinic, and I urge Unjani Head Office to investigate this branch as they are robbing people and damaging the Unjani name.
I sent a parcel with The Courier Guy from Northmead, Benoni to Viljoenskroon. Dropped it at the branch on Saturday, it was moved to the JHB Hub on Monday, and it has been sitting there ever since. This parcel has baby food and other essentials. I was told delivery takes 2–3 working days. Today is the 3rd working day, and the parcel is still stuck in Joburg. When I phoned the Klerksdorp branch, they told me they might only get it today and deliver by Friday. Now I have to send more money so baby food can be bought in the meantime — extra costs I never planned for, all because of delays on your side. This is not the first time either. Last month my parcel was delayed in Klerksdorp with excuses about “payment due,” even though I had already paid in full at Northmead. Your service is honestly shocking and unreliable. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to use it.
Went to Lakefield Pedros to two 1/4 Chicken paella and double up. Service was quick. Collected food and while driving I decided to eat, but there were no s****s or forks given. The rice, on the other hand, was so little. I had to eat by hand, with no Serviette.🙄
Ordered food on the drive thru, at Northmead Benoni on Saturday. I ordered 2 x 1/4 Chicken paella and double up. The Rice was not well cooked, and it was so hard. We had to eat double since you couldn't eat ******* or rice that was cooked. I already logged into them the same night but they didn't bother. It wasn't the 1st but I was ignoring it thinking it was because of being busy but this past weekend was not busy. Their service is *******. No more using them.
