I requested settlement figures on two vehicles that had Original Capital Balances of less than R250K and received Settlement Letters indicating 3 months penalties on Interest for early settlement - Since this is considered a small loan in terms of the Financial Credit Act no penalties can be app**** if settled early. I queried TFS of this and received an Automated a reply indicating that it I would get a response with in 48hours. This was on the 2nd of December & I am still waiting on a response even though I followed up a few days later. TFS you can do better than this :-(
I purchased a FORD Wildtrak 4x4 Demo in Feb 2025 with 1176kms on the vehicle. The Vehicle was advertised as a 2025 model and 1st registered in Jan 2025, but the warranty & service plan was activated as of Nov 2024. At no point was I informed of this by my salesman Grant Paulse and when I queried this with him after purchase and collection, I was told that the Sales Manager would contact me which has not been done. Furthermore, when I drove the vehicle home, I noticed a knocking sound from the rear suspension when went over bumps which has been diagnosed by another Ford Dealer/Service Agent closer to where I stay as a faulty rear left shock absorber that has been ordered for replacement under Warranty. This should have been picked up prior to my collection by the technicians at Halfway Ford Kuilsriver when the Pre Delivery Inspection was carried out. I honestly expected better service & communication levels
I ordered a Bin Mat online on the 24th of March - It was shown to be in stock with an indicated delivery timeframe of 3 to 5 Days. It is now the 15th of April and I have not received the Bin Mat. I have had some communication on email & WhatsApp but it has gone quiet since the 8th of April. I have now approached my Bank to reverse the Credit Card Transaction. Poor Service & Communication.
POOR SERVICE from Online Purchase: I ordered a Number Plate Frame with a HD Reverse Camera. I was supp**** the incorrect product and returned it requesting the correct product to be sent to me or a Full Refund. Makro Online refunded me the purchase price (R699) of the product but not the Courier Fee of R237.42. I have requested a refund on this but have not had any response to the multiple requests. The Product continues to be offered online but I suspect that Seller doesn't actually have stock available.
Thank you Scholtz & Danie for the great service in buying one of your Pre-Loved Cars. These guys went the extra mile to ensure a good experience and came to the party to resolve a suspension issue with my FJ Cruiser.
Trust paid little attention to detail and the tiles were inadequately glued down causing lifting. A tile was cut to conceal error and gaps were left in the joints. The owner has questionable identity documents and does not include company Registration number on Quote or Invoices. Very disappointing experience 😞
Exceptionally poor service from a communication point of view. I made a request to cancel my account on the 8th of September using the designated WhatsApp number and received a reference but till date have had no further response from the cancellation department even though I have emailed them twice. Netstar are very proactive when signing you up but drop the ball going forward. In my opinion the technology they are using is outdated and this is supported by the fact that the ******** element has jamming devices readily available to block the signal and my insurance underwriter no longer requires tracking on my vehicles. This is the second poor review that I have written - the 1st being after a theft of a vehicle in a parking lot where the signal was jammed but the response time inadequate to recovery this vehicle.

I purchased a 2020 Ford Ranger with 90,000kms on it in April 2023 from HeyHalfWay Belville WC which I paid to have delivered to their Branch in Fourways Gauteng. When I went to collect that vehicle I noted a few things that needed to be resolved on the vehicle including scratches on the bumper, chips on windscreen, door lock not working and radio not working. The 1st two items were resolved by HeyHalfWay and I had to take the Vehicle to Ford for the last two items. Ford informed me that both doors & roof of the vehicle had been resprayed recently and that the lock had been incorrectly reinstalled on the wrong door hence it was swapped to the correct door and now works. When I queried this with the sales person on an email as I was under the impression that the vehicle was accident free I did not get a reply. Also the registration process has not been completed nearly two months later even though I purchased the vehicle with cash and supp**** all documents from my side on purchase. The Sales Person is slow to revert to me on this and later asked for my documents already supp****. I can't say that I am impressed with the service to date. :-(
My wife called out a plumber on the 12 of Sept 2020 to attend to a blocked drain and was told that it was caused by tree roots and quoted R1950.00 which she accepted and paid. The work took less than one hour to complete. On the 23rd of Sept my live in Domestic noticed that the drain had become blocked again and was reported to Elite on the 27th Sept as we were away at the time. I spoke to Gideon who informed me that there would be an additional charge of R850.00 to open the drain again as they only offer a 7 day warranty on blocked drains (Roto Router offers a 14 day warranty on the same service). I opted to get another plumbing contractor out on the 28th of Sept who manually removed a large section of roots from the same drain for R1370.00 and offered a 30 day guarantee. On the 1st of Oct I phoned Elite Plumbing and spoke to who I believe is the owner indicating my concerns on the poor service received and requested a refund. I was rudely told that there was no chance of a refund and if I posted a bad review on social media or Hello Peter he would come and sort me out as he has my address on file. I have worked in the construction industry for 35 years and am surprised at attitude of the owner and certainly would not recommend the use of their services.
