I have resided near the "Hyper Rhema" church in Bromhof, Randburg for over 35 years, and have become increasingly disgusted by their congregants road manners on entering or exiting the premises. They clearly believe that other road users have no rights whatsoever, with taxis blocking the roads, private vehicles ignoring traffic lights, making illegal U-turns etc. This is a common complaint amongst local residents over many years. Is this what Rhema is teaching their disciples, that they are above the law and have no need to consider other people? ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!
Today I received a phone call from Fidelity ADT to inform me that due to the acquisition of National security by Fidelity ADT, I am now automatically under contract with them since 1 August 2022. Then I was informed that the new radio link which was installed on 20 July 2022 at a cost or R609 would no longer work and must be replaced. Therefore, it was only functional for 10 days, and I have had no security service for another 10 days. Attempts to get any form of clarification has been a waste of time.
A client of mine received an email with a fraudulent Standard Bank account confirmation letter, instructing them to pay my invoices into a Standard Bank account instead of mine. This they did, R59 185. When we realized the scam, I contacted Standard Bank. Their position on this is as follows: - Since I am not a Standard Bank customer, they don't care. - Since I haven't been scammed (my client was), they don't care. - Since I haven't laid fraud charges with the SAPS, they don't care. I sent them all the documentation required for them to conduct an internal investigation IRO account holder, FICA compliance, issuer of confirmation letter etc. I received an email response stating that they will not engage or investigate whatsoever, until I CAN PROVE THE FRAUD! The documentation I submitted proves the fraud already. I would have thought that they would welcome all information enabling them to root out fraud within their organization. BOTTOM LINE: THEY DON'T CARE!!!
This post relates to FNB Home Insurance. I am insured wit them through my home loan, and suffered a burst water pipe during the night of 23 - 24 July, six days ago. I lodged a claim immediately. Their website states that a 48 hour turnaround is to be expected. To date, the action so far is: - A plumber arrived to repair the pipe on the same day. He refused to carry out the repairs since this would require removal of a section of ceiling. - Another plumber arrived 3 days later, ripped open the ceiling and repaired the burst pipe. They issued an invoice for the excess. - Since then, nothing, nada, zilch. Ceiling and carpet repairs etc have been ignored. All attempts to get action from FNB Insure have been ignored, or have met with blatent BS. FNB, GET YOUR HOUSE IN ORDER!!!!
On 13 April 2021 Netcare Sunninghill Pharmacy submitted a claim to Fedhealth for an amount of R2003.58. Since I haven't been anywhere near this place since 2016, I notified Fedhealth that this claim is not on my behalf. Today, Samantha Brooks from Fedhealth sent me an email to tell me that it is my problem, not theirs, and I have to resolve this with Netcare. Don't they care about fraudulent claims being submitted?
In September 2020 I submitted a claim for R1500 for an appointment with a dermatologist. I had paid this, and recieved an invoice with reciept stamped "Please reimburse member". Fedhealth then proceeded to pay the doctor directly. So, the doctor has been paid twice and I am R1500 out of pocket. Fedhealth have simply refused to do anything about this, their position is that they have paid the claim. That they paid the claim to the wrong person is irrelevant to them. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!!!
I ordered 5 items from Takealot on 1 January 2020. On 23 January they delivered 3 of them. When I queried this they stated that these 2 items are not available. These items are still listed on their site as available for delivery within 5 to 7 days. They will not give a proper answer and they will not tell me when I will be refunded. Straight answers is all I ask for, not some BS.
Telkom have a foolproof money making scam. Here' how it works: - When you no longer want/need a Telkom landline or ADSL service, you ask them to cancel your service. They cancel your service, but not your account. - So you have no service, but keep getting bills. - You try to cancel this again. They inform you that they will only cancel your service when your account is paid in full. You pay, and try cancelling again. - Two months later you get a bill, and notification that your account has been handed over for collection. You pay, and try cancelling again. - Ad nauseum…….. I have been trying to cancel my Telkom account for 25 months, and keep paying, despite having no service this entire period. Better than printing your own money.
I ordered some stuff from Raru on 19 December 2018, with delivery promised by 17 January 2019. We are now into February and I am still waiting. I have sent their so-called "customer services" an email asking for some feedback, still waiting and waiting and waiting..... Everybody, save your hard-earned cash by NOT dealing with these rip-off artists!
