I have now called in twice to renew my contract and 5 days later someone has yet to call me back. This is despite all the promises and undertakings given. I’ve been a Cromer since they launched & their service leaves a bad taste in my mouth!! As my contract has expired I guess it’s a great time to cancel DSTV & stick to Netflix & AN Other.
I received a message from Dawn Wing to inform me my urgent parcel would be delivered before 18:30 today. I’ve waited at home all day only to receive a message At 17:24 to inform me that my parcel woulD not be delivered today as I was not available and I must call 0861223224. I’ve called this number only to have someone hang up on me all the time. Pathetic service!!!!!!
I went to the bank to get an additional bank card for my cheque account. I was told I would be charged R120 for a temporary card and I was also to go online and order a card at a charge of another R120. Needless to say I opted to just order online. But lo & Behold, there is no function online to order a card. Now I have to go back to the bank. Tried to contact FNB online & no r4esolution there either.
It is day 8 and still Rain have not contacted me to activate my SIM. They have gladly taken my money (R479). I am aware that Patrice Motsepe is a shareholder of Rain. I got confirmation from gentleman that I have been scammed by Rain. :Loyiso Manga: Shannon Whittle look at the first post by the admin, he also wants funds for his 3 companies. Challenge is that our people are gullible and desperate, Patrice has nothing to do with this page. If you want Patrice go to LinkedIn or contact the Motsepe Foundation they will rubbish this page as fake. I mean you don’t have to go far to do your homework, read through the posts on this page. One person says that they got a response from Patrice secretary and she ask for R800. How stupid is that? If that is not enough for you then maybe you deserve being scammed. Wake up guys!!!!
They are absolutely USELESS. Bought a new sim as they were recommended. Cannot activate yet they took my money for a package for R479. Cannot attend to my calls. Will revert within 24-48 hours, if I'm lucky. Cannot lodge more than 1 query a day. Website is not user friendly. Now I must sit with no network until they decide to revert. Asked for a refund rather and back to Telkom albeit at a premium they at least got me connected. Rain is a WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!
I ordered perfume for my wife an paid on 16/3/2020. Understand lockdown took place but I keep getting a standard mail from their support. They gave me a tracking number and told me to contact Dawn Wing. I did and they know nothing about my order, Despite numerous mails and a request for a refund from Perfume.com I do not get any closer to finding the whereabouts of my order. I have asked for a refund and still get no response, Please be careful of utilizing this company:(
I signed up with MWEB fibre uncapped, unthrottled package. The guys pitched here, plugged everything in and left. I had to configure everything myself. Thereafter the quality of service is nothing short of shocking. The router they gave me cannot connect to an extender that is 5m away with nothing impeding it. I have to continually reboot. The maximum download speed on a good day is 40-60mbs. I’ve been told I need to spend another R2,000 to R3,000 (besides the R3,000 already spent on boosters) to get a better router that will give me the quality of service I require. Therefore the con from MWEB is they promise u the great bundle but give u a substandard router that will never support what they have sold you. Please do not sign up with MWEB fibre.
I have been battling for 2-weeks to get my extra view activated on Price lock. I have spent over R500 in this period in calling in and been to a walk in service center twice. Every time I get told a different story as to why it cannot be done. I get reference numbers, promised that someone will call me and 2-weeks later still not a word and no extraview. Absolutely pathetic service. I wish there was competition to DSTV as I would switch in an instant.
<p>I aplplied to have a business contract upgraded to the Skye Package. It took MTN almost 2-months to effect this upgrade thus resulting in excessive charges during the period.</p> <p>I then requested the line to be suspended as the user of the phone had left the business and taken the phone with him. MTN suspended the line as per my request and then simply activated again when the user called in. Despite all my efforts to get this line sspended the user of the said phone is still actively utilising the said phone.</p> <p> </p> <p>The user of the phone then forged the company letter head and then transferred the phone into a 3rd persons name without any consent from the company. I have supplied MTN with affaidavits and proof to this effect yet nothing has happened in this regard.</p> <p> </p> <p>Waseem from MTN Blue Route has tried everythig to assist in this regard and yet I am still in a sutiation that a MTN phone that is being used by an unauthorised person that has committed fraud in transferring the phone into a 3rd party name and MTN simply have done nothing about this and I am the one left paying the bills of up to R5,000 per month.</p> <p> </p> <p>Clearly this means that anyone can just supply a letterhead (regardless of authenticity) and do as they please. I will be referring this matter to counsel to remedy as 6 trips to MTN is surely 5 trips too many!!</p>
