I ordered and paid for a Solar Generator on 28 March 2025. I queried the order on 23 April and was told they would be delivering soon. I received no reply to my enquiry on 28 May.
It is really poor show for a tech company that they cannot accommodate payments from the new digital banks in South Africa. Because Bank Zero offers debit cards with more than a 5 year expiry VOX cannot update their payment system to accept these cards.
Unapologetic agent Paul Cedrics pushing for a sale when I clearly told him the premium he was offering was ridiculous.
I ordered a Cobra Products Drain Tape 50ft from Reliable store in June and received confirmation of an order number on 29 June 2023: Order#63497. On 28 July I queried my order and on 10 August was told that there were delays with the supplier. I phoned later in August and was told I'd receive a tracking number before the end of the week. I've written and asked to be refunded and I was told they'd get back to me. I think more than 2 months to deliver an item without a delivery date is unacceptable.
I received an unsolicited call from MiWay. After agreeing to speak with the agent I am offered an excellent price on my vehicle insurance. I accept. I am told that I will receive a call to assist me in cancelling my existing cover. The call comes, I answer, the call drops. I don't hear from MiWay again. I call the call centre and leave a call-back request. I go online and send a message requesting a call back. I'm still waiting two weeks after the first call. I've cancelled my policy on the app before it has even taken effect. I have been promised a call from the retentions department. They say 72 hours (clearly they are not desperate to retain clients) it is 62 hours later and the office opens in 10 hours time.
I am helping a man of 88 years old order an MTN SIM from Mweb on a month by month contract. The website tracking information for the order is rudimentary. It shows no progress since the day the order was placed 15 calendar days ago. I call the sales department. There is no option on the automated system to speak to an agent/consultant. I select "change the delivery address" to speak to an agent/consultant. When the phone is answered and I give the phone to the account holder to confirm who he is, the agent/consultant tells me he cannot provide me with information on when the SIM will be delivered because the account owner must first register me on the account so that I may receive information on behalf of the account holder. I ask to speak to a supervisor and the phone cuts off. Can a company offer worse customer service?
I ordered an MTN fixed LTE service from Axxess. The SIM and Router were delivered on 24 March. No setup instructions. I posted a service ticket on 25 March and received the setup instructions on 29 March after sending another 2 requests. The setup instructions do not work. I have posted another service ticket with the company and received more setup instructions. After trying these instructions for 3 days and posting every day that I have not had any success I am not receiving messages that I should be receiving 3G internet and their engineers are working on restoring 4G. But I don't have any internet because their setup instructions are not the correct ones or not complete. I have asked for a refund for data I could not use in March and was told I'm activated, but I have received no data, so their systems are hopelessly inaccurate. I wish I could rate them minus ten stars.
