I reported a fault at our house of a power outage on Wednesday 07:00. Our power went off at 21:00 previous day. We are only 220 houses in Grotto bay. Only our house was affected by the outage. This tells me a fault on eskom side. I got this number from call centre 1134519819. I heard nothing and Thursday reported it on the only working thing at eskom, Alfred the bot. Since then I received we are aware of your problem. That is all that I get. My freezers, and everything perished. Almost one week without power. I spoke to some guy on Friday and he told me they would fix it over the weekend. Nothing happened. I phoned him today and he asked me a couple of questions to help him understand the problem so he can decide if it is worths eskom time to fix my power. My meter in the house is dead. No power. I dont work for eskom but even I can guess that the trip-switch in the eskom box tripped.
I accidentally ported my vodacom number 066****to fnb connect thinking I was adding that number to fnb portfolio I had my 082 **** business number already on the fnb connect service. They took my 066 private number and replaced my business number with this 066 number. My business number is now non existent. Trying to correct the problem I was online with fnb for hours and stilll no joy. I was told today they returned my business fnb connect to vodacom. Really? I had this number for ages and now it is gone. This was a fnb connect number in the first place the 082 number. How the hell does vodacom get into the picture? Scary stuff this. Satan and his demons at work. Time to make a change. Beware of switching to fnb connect - you’ll be *****ed!
I just made a booking on flysafair to fly from cape town to Lanseria on 18 January 2025 for a wheelchair assisted passenger. She cannot walk. The hooking was made WITH wheelchair assistance. On payment, the payment declined. On re-doing the payment it went through. When I checked the details there were no wheelchair assistance on the ticket. They have my money and I have a ticket for someone that cannot walk. I contacted them on whatsapp, but they could not help. I need to pay a R200 plus whatever changes I now make. Absolutely not on.
I bought some items online at Makro and man did I receive the best service ever! Product’s was easy to find, shop and pay for! Brilliant. The best part on both occasions I received all the products the next day, way ahead of their promised delivery date. Well done guys you rock!
I have beeb a customer service off Steers since they made the whacky Wednesday meal. No problem until I started to order online. This is the second Wednesday I had to battle to get my meal from Steers Brackenfell. I walked into the shop and saw the manager was packing my order. I stood at the collection point and she completely ignored me. I asked her to collect my meal and showed her my online order and payment confirmation. She told me I must go and stand in the order line which I did. Now the lines are long, and my meal is out and getting cold. When I finally got to the till I ordered my meal and showed her my online order and payment. She printed a invoice and my number was the last one in, take in mind my meal was ready since I entered the shop. Eventually they gave me my cold meal after serving most of the other customers. While I was standing in the order queue, a black guy came in also did a online order, and he received his without having to stand in the order line. I am 71 years old and white, so this is definitely a race issue in Steers Brackenfell. When I got home, and wanted to eat my hamburger, the patty was raw and still cold. My wife fried our patties and we ate our LAST EVER STEERS MEAL. Online order number #97962617
Darling Police station. We arrived 10:10 on Friday 9 February to get a police clearance. Driving all the way from Grotto bay. We were told, sorry you have to come back on Monday 12 February because the lady that does this has gone home early. 10 am in the morning? We arrived at 08:00 on the Monday morning. They asked us if we had R170 cash before they could proceed as they don’t have card facilities. The never told us Friday we must bring money. I went to the ATM and withdrew the cash. They took fingerprints etc and then the waiting started. Apparently the police system takes hours on a Monday to start up. We waited and waited and waited. 3 1/2 hours later I walked into the police station and called someone I know that work in the police force and asked him if the system was off on his side and told him about our problem as load shedding was starting in 45 min for 4 hours. Everyone in the station could hear the conversation. Then a miracle happened. There was a resurrection in the station and the system “went on line” - apparently never of at all! I see this as a race problem because we were the only whites in the station. Everybody else came in and were helped. No wonder our nation is down the drain!
I have appointed pg glass on the 1st of november for my santam claim glass replacement with number 4813966. It is the 9th of november still no repair has been done. It apparently is a fight over which brance must do the installation. The mobile unit was requested as I live in Grotto bay. Not only don’t they know where Grotto is, but they don’t know who must do it. The previous claim I also requested pg glass and received excellent service. Nine days later and pg is still not sure if the want to repair the glass.
Our plumber came out and found our kwikhot geyser had burst and it was still under warranty. We called the Johannesburg help line and was helped immediately and supp**** with a reference number and told kwikhot Cape town will appoint someone to replace the geyser. 24 hours later I have received nothing from Cape town Kwikhot. I called them and this is what I was told. Sir we have a 24 hour service working day agreement. In this case you called Wednesday 14 June so you would only receive any feedback Monday 19th of June 2023 when the 24 hour agreement ends. Really? No wonder South Africa is gone to the dumps.
I cannot get hold of vodacom to help me remove a data bundle from my phone or cancel a NON EXISTING FIBRE LINE that I don't have. The keep on billing me by debit order I did not authorise, and I cannot stop it at my bank. My daughter is also battling with a fraud case where vodacom supplied a new iphone contract on her name with a fake id the never checked. Can someone in vodacom please contact me? NOT TOBI. I want to speak to a breathing living human person if there are someone alive there at vodacom.
After months of struggle with Vumatel to release my fiber line and vox not helping me I decided to go the Mweb route 500mps down and 200mbs up. The line was activated, and the best speeds I got was 150 mbs down and 1 mps up. I am paying for 500 down and 200 up. I started a windows 10 pc at eight this morning to run windows update. At eleven I am stil waiting for the downloads. I am not using wifi direct cable. Mweb please cancel my subscription as I get beter speeds on a 25 down and 25 up. You are bul****ting your customers. Hell, is there any company in this ****hole africa that does not have cANCer corruption? I am GATVOL. You cannot contact them they keep on placing you on hold. Cancel my service with immediate effect if this is the way you treat your customers.
