I had to mail to find out what else.....the they said i didnt return charger and cable....day 4 ....i get a mail to say the tablet switched on and they need my password.....i mail back and say then please send back tablet with or with out charger since its working....i get mailed back by Ramiro Taudie....we found the accessories please send us your password to complete the return......WHAAAAAAT!!! seriously.......if its working send it back......getting weirder.....day 5...6...or 7...i dont know....If you found the cables and charger the tablet is on and asking for a password ...send it back........nope....we cant finalize your request send us your password.....Ramiro...Taudie.....day something ....Factory reset the device i sent through the how to guide of factory resetting android devices.....BUT you dont ask people their passwords.....TAKEALOT FIX THIS ISSUE.....MRRN-357en-8vv5
I give SABC 3 stars cause its a good and bad rating Good rating that SABC exposes issues and irregularities during this covid pandemic. Bad rating that they aired a spinning event surrounding GBV on the news focusing on a good cause BUT the event organizers should have been brought to book with regards the covid regulations. THERE was NO social distancing NO enforcement of wearing masks.
I decided to take my family for icecream at Spur WaterFront Cape Town and i was shock at the amount of patrans who were packed into the restaurant. During this time of CoVid19 one wouldve thought that the social distancing rules would be adhered to but not that day Sunday. I was literally back to back with another family and their children. I am a regular breakfast person at your establishments and always got a sheet of paper to fill out to screen me and my partner but nothing was given to me other than a sanitizer at the door and be seated. when i looked around i was shocked at the non adherence to social distancing at the spur waterfront.
Boot lock broke on thursday and there was no way of taking it to the agents to have it repaired called them on Saturday and they said have the sample and first thing monday be by them to check for availability. removed the broken lock and this morning New years eve Lindsay was this sales person that picked up an he advised to come ASAP exspecially if i needed the part today. I got there and immediately he was on the system checking parts etc etc...and he took the initiative to compare parts and found a part exactly what i needed That is the excellent service one expects and you guys delivered. having a good piece of mind new years that my cars locks completely
So on changing my insurance companys Standard bank gave me a brilliant offer. everything went well up until the excited person i am, to change stickers on my cars windows to the new company, realise that there is only one sticker in the welcome policy pack. Sooooooooo....confused much, i read through the policy to make sure its mine and yes there are 2 cars and a house in the policy pack and 1 window sticker. its been 2 months now 2 payment to your insurance devision of standard bank. Can someone shed some light on when someone will be contacting me since i have called your call center to enquire about this in the first month. And no i do not want only one return call made to me and then an sms to say we tried calling you and we wont try again is what the sms is implying. LOGIC says anyone reading the policy will know how many stickers to supply with the welcome pack when seeing 2 vehicles....Surely you have that expensive system where you capture the details of the vehicles to insure and maybe you have a tick box that says add extra sticker ...or a drop down of the number of vehicles and the smart computer says hey i need an extra sticker for this guy.
Tried applying for a loan to make life alittle easier for me but the call center pushed me from pillar to post for 15min before cutting me off
I don’t know who to be upset with Standard bank for advertising they would do the smart ID for convenience in the bank, or, department of home affairs for having staff in standard bank that do not want to sort out a problem. So I do my registration online on the home affairs site and i get to the part of making the booking and it says there are no available time slots for the appointment to take my finger prints and picture. on my day off I decide to go to the standard bank at Canal Walk and sort this out and the guy in front of me had the same problem and the woman said that he should log on and make the booking and that the only available booking time to take his finger prints and phot was the 28th March.....WHAAAAT????....its the 12th of March....Then she came to me and I said i have the same problem and she started giving me the same story and i asked why when she was seeing us now and i asked her how long would it take and she said 10 to 15min....YOU DO THE MATHS....It took her that long to tell the guy in front of me that the next booking was in 2 weeks and i asked her why and she said to control the people coming in to the branch and that I can go stand with the rest of the people at the department of home affairs if I wanted it done now....WHAAAAT.???? what queue was i in at the Standard bank when i was at the counter with the guy in front of me addressing the same problem.....and there was no one else there.......WHAT CONTROL OF PEOPLE ......to explain the solution of waiting to come back to the branch in two weeks and telling me and telling it would take 10 to 15min or i could stand with the rest of cape town to have a finger print and photo done now Standard Bank would’ve had 2 happier clients.(rethinking my bond now).
Granville has proved himself to be a fly by night builder together with his fellow builder Ashley Hoffman who trades under the following unregistered companys Reds Construction and Viso du leader. be aware of the names of the builders as they are linked to a company Dial A Contractor. To date they have not completed my home improvement and vanished with 3/4s of my hard earned money and not responded to calls or emails. I will find every way to make cape town aware of these fly by night builders and make sure they are exposed for who they are.
Thank you Hello Peter...I am glad you are here and glad you help us right the wrongs in business and make us aware, that there company’s out there, that take the everyday Joe in the street and make them believe that parting with their hard earned savings for inferior service and products is ok. You have responded to a request to instigate a post added by a company contradiction previous posts, which was put there to mislead other users. This post was certainly obvious to see that it was a contradiction. And i thank you for a positive response
To date (last spoken with on the 29th of January 2018) Theresa of Dial A Contractor has not attempted to even reconcile with me regarding the refund of the money transferred to Granville of the company Visio du Leader(not registered to build or do any construction) as investigated and found not to be registered with the NHBRC or the MBSA. Visio du Leader (Granville) also employs a youngster by the name of Carlo, who claims to be an electrician but is actually his “boy “and run around guy. This money was transferred for materials that never made it to my property. And the little correspondence I have between Dial A Contractor and myself (I have the proof each and every mail date and recordings) has been few and far between. So I don’t know where the previous hello peter post of great service comes from. Still waiting on the electrical compliance certificate and very worried that I may electrocute myself due to non-compliant wiring. So clearly Dial A Contractor distances themselves from situations once it is considered to be out of their hands. Yet they will bombard you with non-compliant builders just to get their commission from an accepted cheap quote. I applaud them for the fast and efficient way they get clients to hand over their money but reluctant to help with and injustice.( for lack of a better word) Dial A Contractor be aware of your name been dragged under due to poor service and poor appointment and screening by your staff of unlicensed builders. Future Dial A Contractor clients be aware that no matter how convincing and reassuring the staff of this company is, be sure that you will be left poorer and unsatisfied with the quality of service.
