Approved PMB, but Dr consultation rejected
Hi, I'm writing about a concern with an approved PMB claim. My mom's medical aid is rejecting a doctor's consultation visit, saying funds are depleted. However, she was admitted and discharged from hospital in Jan, before the PMB was app**** for (approved from Feb). Why is the past admission being linked to the PMB, when it's outside the approved date range?2 replies

Allocated to a higher salary bracket regardless of supporting documents sent!
I'm writing about my mom's medical aid annual review outcome, and not happy with the result. She's the primary member and only member, and we submitted proof of income (pension grant only) to *** in November 2025 (sent twice). Despite this, her premium was adjusted to the >R15000 income bracket. Could this please be urgently corrected? I'd like her monthly premium to reflect her actual income and remain affordable based on the verified proof we provided.3 replies

Excellent service and honest
Excellent service from Emmanuel from SPAR- Bromhof. My mom went a week back to get spinash, most supermarkets did not have it due to the rain. Emmanuel the manager advised my mom to write in a log book her request. Indeed my mom got a call back today from the branch that she can come her spinash was in stock and reserved. What a beautiful and fun experience we had yesterday, at Cresta brach. Thabo served us with excellence, beautiful smile and made my daughters 3rd birthday 🎂 special. Thabo has a cheerful, respectful and caring service. Big up to him and may he keep it up!!! HE EXCELLS, WELCOMING, SPIRIT OF UBUNTU AND COURTESY! All round service and food at Cresta Panarottis is excellent. We excited to get back, please sms us to advise once the jungle gym upgrade is done.
