I placed an order for nail polish and received a box with chutney and mentos. I returned the incorrect order received and then Takealot sent me 2 of the 3 nail polishes I had initially ordered. You can't speak to anyone because there is no telephone number. I sent an email and received a response to say that the warehouse needs to look for my order. This was 2 weeks ago and still nothing. I am seriously rethinking placing orders on Takealot because when they mess up, they really mess up and as hard as you try, you can't resolve it.
Courierit driver went out of his way to deliver my parcel which was out of his route. He called me twice to keep informed and I have never had a bad experience with this courier service.
Slowway courier. Second time I have had an issue with them delivering. I don’t know why any company uses them. They have a shocking reputation as you can tell from the reviews
On Sunday, 1 October I went into Constantiaberg and saw the garden set I wanted. I immediately went online and ordered it. Yesterday I had still not heard from them regarding delivery. I sent a mail and then today I get told that there is no stock anywhere in the western cape and they have no idea when more stock will arrive from the supplier, would I like a refund or to wait for the stock? The item was standing on the showroom floor as well as show available online and 5 days later I get told there is no stock
Vodacom makes it near impossible to cancel a contract! First you can't get to speak to someone, then when you do, they try and convince you to keep it open in a different form or get an upgrade. When you finally get it right to cancel it, you still get an email to say it has been converted to prepaid! I provided the cancellation notice, and they deducted a debit order for MORE than my normal monthly amount at the end of June 2023 for JUNE they claimed. I went back to them stating June had been deducted at the beginning of June and was then informed it was paid in arrears! I sent them the invoices from the date of inception clearly showing that it was in fact paid upfront and it was a top up account so there were no extra charges. I have read the nightmare stories about trying to cancel your Vodacom contract and am now experiencing this first hand! Customer beware when opening a contract!
Placed an order on 5 March, it was shipped on 6 March. I was told I would get it by the 10 March. 14 March still nothing. Tried to chat to the online chat states it answers in under 3 minutes and yet answers in over 20 minutes and then they don't respond after introducing himself as Lungile. Tried to call goes to voicemail. Shocking customer service and I remember having this happen before with Mr Price. This will be my last online order with them
I saw a vehicle which had not arrived at the dealer yet and submitted an enquiry 3 times before a Mr Jean Van Wyk called me back. There was even a place to "reserve the car for you" which I also submitted twice. Jean told me he would call me on Monday, 24 Oct. He did not call. I called him on Tuesday, to be told the vehicle would be in on Thursday or friday of that week. I called again on Friday only to be told that it was not going to be in until the next week Thurs, Fri but would I like to go through so he could look at my trade in vehicle. I told him it was a distance from me and I would do it all at once when the car was at the dealer. Tuesday, 1 Nov I notice the car is no longer on the website and I call him, he ignores first call, then tells me he is with a client and will call me back. He does not call and I again call at 1.30pm. He then tells me he has 'just got into the office and I am on his list, but the car has actually been sold by one of the other agents who took a large holding deposit. I asked why I was told the car would be in the next week friday and he told me it came in very, very late on the Friday. Honestly shocking service and he has done nothing but lie to cover his own skin!
They should honestly rename the company as it is anything but fast! I have ordered goods online and this is the second time I have experienced the same issue with them. I receive notification in the morning that the parcel is on the truck and out for delivery and it never arrives. I have waited at home on both occasions for 2 days straight not received the parcel. What is the challenge, get more vehicles if you are not meeting the deadlines, but don't tell paying customers that their goods are on the way and then they never arrive
Been trying to change the details of my account and the banking for almost ONE month and am no closer to getting it finalised! Shocking service from the support and the accounts department. It is not rocket science it should be something simple and take 5 minutes not one month
I have spent the entire morning from 9am - until 12.16 trying to order a few simple building materials. I first tried online- which was a complete waste of my time. I then called and asked to be put through to Constatiaberg and this never happened it just rang there on 3 separate occasions. I was then assisted by the people at the call centre who have sent me two emails both containing incorrect products. I have been sending this back and forwards to sort it out and pay and get it delivered and I am still no closer to doing so. I am extremely frustrated and I can assure you that I am now looking at other suppliers in the area as I honestly can't believe the performance for something so simple.
