I think it's absolutely ridiculous that the Cape Wheel birthday special is only available on your actual birth day. My birthday falls on a weekday and I can't make use of the free special that's offered to South African citizens. Why not follow the same process as the Cable Car Table Mountain or the Aquarium, who has time during the week, people work full time, life is expensive, allow the special to be for the entire birthday month.
Iv been a member of virgin active for many years and whenever my gym contract expires I tell myself I'm never going to renew it, but I end up renewing it thinking things will get better....BUT IT NEVER DOES. Virgin Active Athlone (Gatesville) is possibly the worst club iv been to. The club recently upgraded the equipment but the cardio machines are broken half the time, and there's not enough equipment for the amount of members, its actually less after the "upgrade", the aircons never work and you will not see 1 clock anywhere in the gym. They encourage you to download the app and make use of the reward system but surprise surprise the biometric scanner never works either, so your entry access isn't logged. When you query at reception, you end up standing there for 30min or more giving your ID number numerous times with no success. And don't get me started on the bathrooms...gosh I won't even go there! Im paying so much for a terrible gym where i can't even benefit from Needless to say, I will not be renewing my gym membership.
The One and Only hotel at the V&A Waterfront is by far the best place to stay in Cape Town, the staff are friendly beyond what I have ever experienced. The hotel offers that personal touch in the finer detail, from check-in up until we left staff were accommodating to all our needs, no long waits, professional, upon arrival we received lovely treats sent to our room, room service was fast, a shuttle was arranged to take us to supper, when checking out we were escorted to our car by more than 1 staff member, truly an amazing experience, you just get that warm welcoming experience.
We booked the Bella Bella Forever Resort - Hotel in Limpopo for 4 nights because that is the minimum you allowed to book, we only arrived from Cape Town on the 2nd day(after a 2hour drive from the airport), nevertheless, I called the Resort a week in advance to ensure they provide the required amenities, mainly, a cot for my 18 month old son. Firstly, it took forever to check in, secondly, we had to pay an additional R500 for the cot, that only had a mattress, no mattress cover, no blanket, no pillow. The room contains a double bed, which we all had to sleep in, the aircon was not working and there was never anyone at Reception, whether we phone or go down personally, no one was ever there. When we went for breakfast(which was Spur because you given vouchers to eat Spur for breakfast during your entire stay), we ask one of the cleaners if the room could be cleaned and we were told we "have to wait our turn". The bathroom has no air vents and the towels smells like sour meat, there was no pressure in the shower and if you not careful you might get 3rd degree burns because the water will suddenly only give hot water, my son burned numerously . Needless to say, we checked out early and I will most certainly not be returning. This place should not be called a resort, or a hotel, for the amount we spent we could have stayed at a 5star hotel, which is exactly what we did.
I recently ordered a few items from Zando, and while some were delivered quite fast, 1 item is yet to be delivered. My only disappointment is the lack of communication by Zando. Delivery was scheduled for the 22 Nov and i have not received any communication as to why it was not delivered or when it will be delivered. Iv been in contact with the service desk who was not help at all, the agent assured me that my item could still be delivered after 5 on the 22 Nov, which i was not expecting. Surely there is more the agents can do? contact the driver or something than assume the package will still be delivered.
I visited PNA Canal Walk and i was very impressed with the customer service i received. Even though there prices are a bit steep I will most definitely visit the store again because of the awesome customer service I received from the floor sales persons as well as the cashiers. They knew the products, could direct me to what i was looking for, paid attention and not talking to each other infront of customers. Keep it up PNA!!!
When ever you call the clinic they never answer, but when you go the clinic its empty and the staff are doing nothing. I asked the ladies behind the counter why no one was answering because iv been calling all morning, then decided to take a drive, and all she could do was smile, no response!!!! As long as the bill is paid
I visited Cape Point 2weeks ago, however a few of us didnt have our ID's, so we left, then i visited Cape Point a week later with my parents. We paid admission and drove through thinking we could have a wonderful experience, only to discover that the restaurants as well as the gift shop was closed. We wanted to take my parents to the top of Cape Point however the cable carriage that takes you up was off, and the 1.5hr walk was not an option for senior citizens. Nevertheless, we sat there for minutes and eventually left. It was such a disappointment, NO NOTICE WAS GIVEN UPON ENTRANCE THAT ALL THESE FACILITIES WERE CLOSED.
Iv never had a good experience with Mr Delivery EVER. Whenever i use the service i expect a different outcomes but im always disappointed. The drivers are incompetent and can never find my place after i have left a detailed description of where to find it, my last encounter, the driver decided to miss call me numerous times, after Head Office had to call me to tell me its the driver,how are these drivers not equipped to conduct their jobs? the worse part is....i end up waiting longer than expected and MY FOOD IS ALWAYS COLD!!!!
I had the worse experience at Melomed Gatesville, The staff at admission/reception are extremely slow, during this pandemic i expected the staff to speed things up so not to have patients waiting longer than required, i waited for over an hour with my 3 month old baby at admissions, while doing so i witness numerous staff members having conversation in the waiting area, while i tried to keep a distance people in and around me did not. i visited the same hospital on Wednesday and i wasnt even screened before entering the hospital, i could simply walked in.... When i visited Panaroma Mediclinic for the same procedure it took less than 5min at admissions and i didnt have to wait unnecessary for codes or authorization. Very disappointed with Melomed!!!
