Can someone help me I am seriously having issues with Discovery Life, I have been with Discovery since 2013 and paying my life cover very well. This past 2months I don't know what happened for my payments to not go through however I got an SMS saying my policy has lapsed. I called them on the 20 February 2026, and a consultant told me to pay the outstanding amount and my policy will be reinstated immediately. That was a big lie, because instead of them reinstating my policy I kept getting emails of them asking for declaration of health which I filled and sent back, then proof of payment which I sent then bank statement note all this is done via my gmail account nobody is calling me. So who seats on their gmail account and waits for Discovery communication? Is it not a way for them to cancel my policy sighting no response? I eventually called them cause they had no intention to call after years of me paying them, I stayed on the phone with the consultant for almost an hour on MY OWN AIRTIME another way of them saying ''if you don't call us we take your money''. This life cover is not for me its for my daughter, I won't get anything from it but my daughter why are they trying to ***** me after so many years of paying them. Now they claiming my reinstatement must go through re underwriting how so when I have paid them for decades, I am worried about people I referred to Discovery and new upcoming clients. If Discovery can do this to a client they have had on their books since 2013 what are they capable of doing to a client that recently joined. We don't take this policies for ourselves we taking them for the security of our kids. I am disappointed, I went through medicals last year again and I took it on however this year again they wanna ***** me, my heath hasn't changed I take good care of myself and I am tired of this *****ed plans that Discovery has for their clients.
I open 2026 with Car track harassing me over a R172 that I don't owe. They installed a device and damaged my car and when I called to query this they never assisted until I stopped payment. When I stopped payment they finally decided to hear me and come and fix the mess they made. The same day i was already getting calls from accounts to make payment. Car track does not care about a customer they care about money. I told them I don't mind making payment but it will be made on the 15 December, Mooketsi from the accounts department gave me a discount after we had a huge fight over the phone and said on the 15 I must pay R319. I made the R319 payment as agreed and then boom car track is calling me 1000 times a day saying i owe R172, I told them I don't owe them told them to listen to their calls. Instead of listening to their calls they sent me emails and WhatsApp messages demanding R172 even sending me a final demand letter, the nerve of this company... The question is are your calls really recorded? Does the customer matter at all to you or is it money first. I have never been so harassed by a company in my life.
I am literally being harassed by Car track on my phone. I am considering having the device removed from my car. Ever since I installed the device I have had issues from day 1. They had damaged my dashboard since installation, been contacting them with my airtime until i decided to stop making payment for them to contact me. For them to acknowledge the damage it took a full week of back and forth phone calls as soon as they fixed the damage they cause they have been blowing up my phone. I receive 20 calls from cartrack everyday asking for payment. Who is compensating me for the damage you made to my car? All they care about is milking money out of me. They don't care that I stayed with a problem for a full year all they care about is them getting money out of me. They keep attempting to debit me leaving me with bank charged of over R600 for R165 that I need to pay them. Where is the customer service in all this nonsense. Car Track is the worst I will NEVER refer anyone to them after i referred over 6 of my colleagues to them.
I have talked to more 5 consultants in one week regarding the same issue but they don't seem to grasp anything or save anything accurately on their system, so I am using this platform to write down the issue and hope to get proper assistance. My device did not fall off as you assume it did, it was installed and my dashboard was damaged by your technicians in the process of installing the device. I stopped making payment hoping you will hear me and my concerns.
I never thought one day I would write a bad review about the on shop that i love so much. Today my colleague and I visited Food *****s in Jhb next to bank city since we visit Joburg for business sometimes. When my colleague proposed lunch I was the one that said we will get the best at Food *****s, BIG MISTAKE. I bought a special half chicken and chips from the guy who was preparing the meat he was firstly very rude when we greeted him. When we approached he was busy serving some lady and by the looks of things we were disturbing his chat with the lady. The meat he was preparing for the lady was extremely juicy with source to last the next day. I ordered and walked away to continue shopping cause clearly were disturbing him. That guy prepared my order dry with no sauce I have a picture to prove it . The chips we cant even chew them. I have never been so disappointed ever since i shop at food *****s all the time.
Hungry Lion Palm Spring do me wrong AGAIN, this time i took pictures with the receipt can someone tell me why the people who work there saw the need to give me dry meat that you can clearly see its yesterday's food. The chips are sloppy and wet as if i just bought slap chips. I literally have the pictures to prove everything I am saying here. Worst part is i saw the fresh meat but i guess my daughter and I didn't deserve it because we decided to visit the restaurant looking very easy on the eye. Once again I am disappointed we work hard for the money we try to spoil our kids with for this to be what i get from one of my favorite take away shops.
Can someone recommend a wifi product for me that actually cares... I called this company after 2 days of not being able to work due to my wifi which i paid for was not working however i was told that they need to send a technician and that might take 7 or more working days before i can be assisted. I use this wifi for work and my daughter needs it for school please advise where should i now get R500plus to go to the office and buy my daughter data while i have a wifi that will request for another payment very soon. I want to advise ALL residents of Palm Springs to stay away from this service provider it is the worst ever.
Boxer superstore in Palm Springs mall has the most rude cashier I have ever come across. Nonkululeko Mchunu needs to seriously come back to earth, we went to the shop on the 31/12/2024 to withdraw money from one of the tills and we were met by her arrogance and disrespect going as far as telling us she won't assist us. Customers were watching in disbelief as she behaved unruly and rude telling us we can't do nothing to her. Can someone intervene and help this girl she needs customer service training.
The cashier and staff that worked at Hungry Lion Palm Springs on the 24/12/2024, extremely rude and arrogant. I bought a Tuesday 2 the shop was empty and I wondered why they empty when KFC that's right opposite them was packed now I know and I saw why. I bought a Tuesday 2 while ppl behind me bought 7 piece and so on and after I saw ppl that came after me leave I stepped up and asked Abt my order. I was met by a guy who was extremely arrogant even threw his hand at me saying it's not his fault my order didn't pull through in the back. I asked for their manager who has no care in the world literally ignored me and went to pack my order. Even other customers started asking me how come I am still waiting. I asked for their names and I was told I can use the employee number on the slip I don't need a name. Rude and arrogant. Employee 8778255 bought my order at 18:54 got it at 19:35
Can someone help me I need to cancel my policy with Discovery Life, if you could even provide me the Ombudsman details please I am tired of this company. I have been with this company for over 9years and I am having issues with them while I am still alive what will happen when I die. Can someone assist me to cancel this policy and get all my premiums back. I have been calling this company to update my policy but the consultants cut the call. Latest call made was today 07/10/2024 and Lethabo pretended he cant hear me till he cut the call. Can someone help me get my money back and you can keep your cover.
