Tried to book twice. Each time I went through all the steps and at the end it says 'something went wrong' but no explanation. It says contact support, but there's no mention of how to do that on that page. It says 'try again' but gives the same error. Second time I started again with a new browser tab and got the same flights, same price but same error. I entered the data quickly so it wouldn't time out. It says 'hurry, only 2 seats left at this price' which just rubs salt into the wound.
I used Vodapay and was offered a special on the app of 1GB for R1 but it turned out to be a **** by Vodacom itself. There is no such offer. When you click they try to direct you to the normal offers. I spent 3 days finding out that support can't help or escalate - they seem to know it is a **** and are trained to
Horrific trying to get a flu shot. Plumstead Dischem took my name last Wed and promised to call when they have vaccine but haven't responded. Second one in Claremont had but were fully booked (on Saturday) and referred me to the 086111 number or to drive back on Monday to check. Then the person on the 086 number said she would try and after 6 and a half minutes of music I ran out of airtime not know what she was doing. Online book doesn't allow for flu shots
Sign says first 45 mins of parking are free so we came back to car after 30 mins and we forced to pay. It was embarrassing as we hadn't prepared to pay and expected to be let out. The help line didn't answer at all and a payment person and security guard both argued with us even though we showed them the time of ticket entry and the sign saying free parking. I'm sure it happens often.
Site is down but it says "Please refer to the notice on https://secure.stanlib.com for further information." but the point is there is not notice so it is pretending to be scheduled maintenance when it simply isn't working. Just a complete waste of time and poor communication
Driver spilled all of my burger king drink so I logged a query. Automated response said would be 'sorted in a jiffy'. It wasn't. I went onto WhatsApp but had to wait 15 minutes for an operator, who just said 'reach out to support' and closed the ticket. This was an atrocious and shocking response which was clearly aimed to frustrate as they already had my support ticket number. I tried again and had to wait online for 25 minutes. Finally got resolution but overall it was a ********** support experience if you look at the call log.
I support the concept but they left Stellenbosch high and dry and basically just used it for global expansion. When I use the chatbot it doesn't answer and just keeps me waiting and then says 'closed due to lack of activity' but without giving an answer
I went all the way through the booking and then at the end it says payment failed or cancelled on my card So I started again and went all the way through (as fast as I could) and it said 'out of inventory' Then I started again but now the price had shot up and it worked on the same card When I inquired I was told my card had been declined, but then why was the higher price miraculously accepted. Then I was told I had taken too long, but then don't let me take the process all the way to the end and then give that out-of-inventory mumbo jumbo. What I suspect actually happened is that someone else booked the cheaper seat in parallel with me and they greedily chose to cancel my option and inconvenience me rather than lose a few rand. I knew when I sent a query that I would get boilerplate 'spin' answers which put the blame on me rather than the truth, or someone properly checking out what actually happened
Mbongeni Mhkize harassed me about my sars payment for several months and threatened all sorts of court action even though I was not at all in arrears and in fact the statement they finally (after several months) sent me was both outdated and the one they had showed zero amount in arrears so it was all false - and they harrassed my spouse about it.
They advertise a free service and then after everything has been filled in we get an account of R14 400 and they harass us day and night threatening to hand us over for this payment not being done. This really was harrowing. Need to get this people off my back . our small business can't survive this type of threat.
