One of our cars had a side drivers window smashed and we needed to replace it. We found My Glass in George and contacted them. They were very friendly and supportive and really communicated well. The staff who did the repair were super. Highly recommended
Bought a laptop from this company. It was in outstanding condition and everything arrived in mint condition. Quick and professional service.
Every time my vehicle goes to Kobus and son, it comes back in perfect working condition. They are super professional and their rates are very reasonable. There is never an issue ever, after a service.
We used Eezi Move multiple times or small and large moves. We were very loyal and just used the company over and over. In our last move, we had some issues with communication. The "manager" did not respond and we had to contact them over and over to get everything sorted. It clearly put their nose out of joint. We just contacted them again today about another move (showing once more our loyalty to them) and we received a response by email saying "Based on our interaction with you in the past, we do not think we are the right company for your needs." We have all the correspondence to back up what we are saying. No-one is saying they don't have a right to deal with whomever they choose, but they never admitted doing anything wrong and it showed poor form, as far as we are concerned. Perhaps its best to say, that in future, based on our latest interaction with them, we will be finding someone else to do the move. When we dealt with Brandon, everything went much better.
This company has great internet. BUT the day you need to contact them for anything other than a new sale, you are on a hiding to nothing. I have used them about 6 times, and every time I pay to keep the router even though I never really need it. Last time (about a year ago) I sent back the router and got the courier slip to prove they received it. I then started to hear from them that I owed them R999 for the router, despite returning it. I sent them proof. Nothing. Then they sent the bill again. I sent them the proof again. Now today I got an attorneys letter (one step short of a summons). NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY.
I purchased a SMEG toaster and kettle from a seller on Bobshop. I was delighted with them. After a year then toaster started playing up. I contacted Smeg, who organised someone to collect the toaster from me, and they took it away to Cape Town. One week later (today) I received my toaster back, except it wasnt my old toaster, but a brand new retro toaster. Incredible service and value. Thank you from a very happy customer.
My phone died and I had to switch devices and ended up locked out of my banking app. Despite numerous calls to RMB support, and technical people online, I was told to go into an FNB branch. I ended up at the Garden Route Mall, and a lady called Elfrieda served me. She was amazing. She knew her system better than everyone else and had immense patience. It took quite a while to resolve, but I was a happy customer walking out of there. Well done to FNB Garden Route Mall, and especially to Elfrieda.
Are the Avis people brain dead? So I always fly to Skukuza airport, and I have no option but Avis as that is the only rental available. I have to be fair and say I have never had an issue before. However, I rented a car for 6 days a few weeks back. It was a six day rental, and when I returned the car they sent me an assessment which was basically that they would charge me exactly the rental they quoted, because there was no damage and I returned the vehicle with a full tank. Fast forward a week and I get an invoice telling me that during the 6 days I had the car in the Kruger Park, I had amassed several hundred Rands worth of etoll fees in Southern Natal. Keep in mind I collected the car in the Kruger Park at Skukuza and returned it 6 days later. After driving for 6 days the total mileage driven was 1200 odd kms. I immediately advised Avis that it was impossible for the vehicle to go through etolls in the Kruger Park. They said they needed to refer to the eTolls company and will get back to me within 3 days. I then sent them receipts of purchases I made in the Kruger Park, at various shops in the time frame. So to have gone through tolls in Mooi River I would have had to purchase rusks at Lower Sabie and then speed out of the Kruger and down to Mooi River and then back again the next day so that I could explain the etolls. I would have had to do that (many thousands of kms) a few times. Then I also sent my Google driving history showing me driving daily in the Kruger Park. None of this has made a darn difference to Avis. No, 8 days later (today) I have been told they are talking to the etolls company, all the while with my money that they refuse to return. One word PATHETIC
Our company 2KO Africa, in Cape Town, did some training for Toyota Boshoku staff in Durban. We received a PO and then the training was delayed a long time (months). We contacted Toyota Boshoku to ask if we should cancel the invoice, and were told no, they still wanted the training. We had quoted a pre-payment price of 15% and made it clear that this price was for pre-payment. The PO we received was for the pre-payment price. After training dates were booked, we were told they only pay post delivery of services, and if we wanted to charge the post delivery price we would have to start again and raise a new PO. We said, OK we will honour the price, provided payment is done promptly afterwards. The course went very well. Then the problems started. We would not receive payment promptly. We first needed send a statement. The after that we were told we would get paid on the last day of May only. They asked for an updated invoice because the original invoice was from 2022. We updated the invoice to May date, and finance then told us, they only pay 30 days after statement so with the new invoice date that would be the end of June. Needless to say, when we contacted them for payment a week before the end of June as a reminder, because company's that drag payments often do not do what they promise, we suddenly cannot get a response from anyone. We then contacted a dozen different people including the CEO, and we did not receive a single response at all from anyone. Not one response.
Honestly the best car hire experience in over 20 years. The car we got was a Chery Tigga, which was so spacious and had a massive boot space, which we sorely needed. The service from collection to return was simply excellent.
