My Midea countertop water dispenser stopped chilling. I contacted Midea and they arranged for it to be collected and from the time they collected it has just been a nightmare. All I can say is they offer ZERO back up service, ESPECIALLY if it is out of warranty. They actually couldn't give a damn. My unit was literally 1 week out of warranty. Their communication and willingness to help is literally non-existent. I am now trying to get the unit back (unrepaired). They don't have parts and they have no idea when they will have parts. So, if you buy a Midea product you will be ok for the short 2-year warranty period but thereafter you might as well throw it away!
I wish I had checked Hellopeter before using these guys. They came to repair my Delonghi coffee machine. They said they had to replace the infuser. Total charge was R3,200. Only itemized item on the invoice was labour at R950. I priced an infuser online for R866. So what was the difference of R1,384 for? I e-mailed them but as expected, no response. They are clearly taking advantage of people. In light of how many negative comments there are I am contemplating taking action in terms of the Consumer Protection Act - it appears way too many people have been taken for a ride!
I ordered a product and the wrong product was delivered. I logged a return and they collected it and delivered a new product. BUT they delivered the same incorrect product AGAIN. How do they get it wrong twice?? Clearly no one checks these orders!!! Its been 2 weeks now. I get told (via e-mail) it is being followed up with the warehouse but that was days ago and I have heard nothing. I cant even find a telephone number to call!! I spend a lot with Takealot but this is just such bad service!!!!
I see number of positive reviews about the installation of their PV systems. I concur with that. The installation was neat and professional. But then I also concur with the reviews about aftersales service. My system has never worked properly but I eventually just got tired of incompetent technicians who attempted to fix one problem but in so doing just created another. In one instance there was an explosion in my DB when one of them was working on the system. Then another technician came and whilst looking at the DB said ""this not how we normally wire the system". That is weird, YOU installed the system!!! He left it at that - seemed like to much effort to fix it. I have now given up on them and taken it upon myself do deal directly with Goodwe (the inverter manufacturer). After extensive troubleshooting with Goodwe they discovered that it is the wiring of the system that is the problem and someone needs to come and check it. They asked if I have someone, but if not they would recommend someone!! You can guess what I said!!! Now I am waiting for their recommendation. Perhaps after 3 years my system will eventually work correctly. So, if after sales service is important to you then I would NOT recommend these guys!
I recently bought a car for my daughter from Atterbury Motors. Ruan Nel was the salesman and he provided exceptional service from moment I made contact to the final delivery of the vehicle to my daughter in Cape Town. Ruan handled everything, including the transportation of the vehicle to Cape Town, making the whole process stress free. Many thanks Ruan (and Atterbury Motors)
We have a Telkom pole that is about to fall over on our pavement - it is basically been held up by the telephone wires. After phoning around I was eventually given the following e-mail address: natcc@telkomsa.net. I have sent multiple e-mails but no one bothers to respond!
Emmanuel Jiane provided excellent service in signing me up as a new client. A huge saving on my current premiums. Thanks!
Firstly my order took WAY longer than they said it would and when it eventually arrived the full order was not delivered. I have sent multiple e-mails but weeks later I am still waiting! The excuse is they are experiencing high e-mail volume (probably all complaints). They have my money and I don't have my product. That is theft in my books!! Once they have your money they don't give a damn. I will NEVER buy from them again!
I bought a new Cayenne S at the end of 2018 from Porsche Jhb. I have had a few issues with it but the latest problem is the electronic parking brake is not working and at the same time the cruise control has gone down too! I phoned to check it in and they said the first available date is 1 October - that is almost a month away, and this is my problem with Porsche. They have one dealership in Jhb and it is CLEARLY over loaded. Why can't they just open one or two additional service garages? I switched to Porsche after being with BMW for 15 years. The benefit with BMW is that if there was something wrong with my car they would take it in the NEXT day. Now I have to wait a month! That is not service for a premium brand!! It is for this reason that I will have to consider going back to BMW when I am due for a new car. Service is key when you are paying so much money for a car.
Received an invoice and statement advising that an amount due will be debited to my account on 25 Jan. I forgot about it as it was confirmed that it would be debited. Next thing Investec tells me I have been blacklisted by Telkom. I received no notification from Telkom advising that they couldn’t process the debit order! How about asking me for payment before just blacklisting. I think this is an opportunity for legal action!!
