I joined Planet Fitness Brackenfell specifically for the indoor cycling classes. These sessions have been a core part of the gym’s offering for years and are consistently full—often with members arriving and unable to find available bikes. That alone shows how popular and valued they are. Now I’ve been informed that the spinning classes are being stopped and the room repurposed. If there’s no plan to relocate the bikes or continue the classes in another format, then the notice I gave is permanent. I cannot justify staying with a gym that removes the very reason I signed up. Other gyms have managed to run cycling classes without a dedicated room—Planet Fitness could do the same. The demand is clear, the equipment is available, and the legacy of indoor cycling at Planet Fitness deserves to continue. If spinning is truly being removed, I’ll have to move on. But I sincerely hope management will reconsider and resolve this in a way that honors the needs of loyal members.
I am extremely disappointed with the service received from Island Auto Panel in Brackenfell. My vehicle was booked in on 24 March 2025, with an estimated repair time of 7 to 10 working days. It is now June, and I still do not have my car back. From the start, communication has been inconsistent and progress painfully slow. The vehicle sat in the disassembly bay for weeks, with repeated delays due to parts not arriving or being incorrect. Even after the correct headlamp finally arrived in early May, the process dragged on through panel beating, paint prep, and now assembly — with no clear completion date in sight. It feels like the workshop is either buying time or does not know what they are doing. I’ve had to follow up constantly, and despite some updates, there has been little sense of urgency or accountability. This has been a deeply frustrating experience, especially considering that this repair was authorized through Discovery Insure, and I had no say in choosing the repairer. This level of service is unacceptable. I would not recommend Island Auto Panel to anyone expecting timely and professional repairs.
I’ve been a loyal FNB client for years, but my recent experience with both FNB and FNB Connect has been extremely disappointing. I app**** for a new device—one that costs significantly less than what I’ve previously paid for two devices combined. Despite this, my application was declined due to “failed affordability.” This is completely unreasonable, considering I’ve recently: Paid off and closed multiple credit accounts Reduced credit limits to zero ro the minimum Settled a personal loan Completed a cellphone contract Improved my financial position significantly All of these payments were far higher than the small monthly amount now required by FNB Connect. I’ve submitted all requested documents, including payslips and bank statements, and explained that I share expenses due to being married. Yet, I keep getting redirected between departments, with no one taking ownership. I even spent over 15 minutes on a call, only to be left in silence. The lack of coordination between FNB and FNB Connect, and the absence of clear communication or accountability, is unacceptable. I’ve done everything asked of me. If this isn’t resolved soon, I’ll be closing my account and moving to a bank that values its clients.
I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Discovery Insurance regarding my vehicle repair. The repair process has been a complete nightmare. Firstly, Discovery Insurance assigned Island Auto Panel, who are not even a Kia-approved repairer. The experience with Island Auto Panel has been dismal. They took a month just to get the parts and another month to complete the repairs. Throughout this period, I had to constantly follow up every few days for updates, only to be told repeatedly that they were still waiting for parts. As of now, I am still waiting for the repair completion, which makes this ordeal around 3 months long. This entire situation could have been avoided if Discovery Insurance had initially directed me to an approved Kia panel beater in the area, such as CMC Auto Panel. This has been the worst repair experience I have ever had, and there is still no end in sight. I urge Discovery Insurance to reconsider their repairer assignments and ensure that customers are directed to approved and competent repairers to avoid such frustrating experiences in the future.

I been buying connect devices from FNB since I opened a account. All of a sudden I stopped qualifying last year with one of the devices now being paid, I tried again and still don't qualify without any reason. Without a way to fix it and no help from FNB.
Nice Company to use if you want pay off something weekly. If you want a monthly option then don't use them, they charge ridiculous fees.
Limited time offer ⏰ Enjoy 2 for 1 on Col'Cacchio Margherita Pizza's 🍕🍕. Discount automatically app**** at checkout. Offer applies to new and existing users of the Uber Eats App. Offer valid only from 18 - 21 March 2024. On the 21st of March. Good day. I placed the order of the buy one get one free Margareta pizzas at Col'Cacchios which was automatically apl**** an uber added the second pizza. I then decided to add mushrooms which was accepted. The checkout amount was 179 which was correct.... 119 for the Margareta pizza and 30 for extra mushrooms x 2. 119 + 30 + 30 = 179. Later the day got charged another 119 for the second pizza which means i the promo got canceled on me when i changed to collect.. i need to to know why this happened? Everything went fine untill this point for order in the morning just for Uber then to try and sneak another payment for the second pizza. I need a explanation of what is going on with these promos.. is this a way to make extra money?
The experience and the store was fairly good. So far the promise of getting my item delivered in 2 to 5 days was a heavy disappoint with them taking the full 5 day. Customer service tried to help by calling the store and not getting any call answered. Delivery person did call on 4th day trying to schedule delivery and making the promise of delivery was a big turn around.
Trying to use the ebucks benefits is really difficult if the Kauai voucher is not refreshing. The voucher stays redeemed and no agent. All confused about the issue. The voucher was there every month and then stopped. I did not use the voucher much, but when needed it was there. I met all qualifing criteria. It has now been about 4 months. I go stand in queue to order and does not work. Now i have waist time with FNB chat to explain everytime. Most frustrating time.
