Good day Chery South Africa In December 2023 I bought a brand-new Chery Tiggo Pro 7 Executive. I used two thirds of my life savings to buy this vehicle in cash so that I can have a new, reliable and safe vehicle to drive myself and my young daughter around and to also not have the burden of having to pay thousands every month for a vehicle which would have financially strained me and impact what I can do as a mother for my child in terms of providing for her and making sure she has everything she needs. I am not married and I cannot rely on someone else for this. On Monday 02 March 2026, my “new” vehicle with 16,000 km on the clock decided it is just not going to change gears. I switched the car on and put it in reverse, when I was done reversing and put it in drive and gave petrol it changes back to reverse and goes backwards instead of forward and so it went on until I switched the vehicle off and put it in drive and drove away. I thought, well maybe just some heating up issue. When I arrived at work and I drove into the parking lot, another vehicle came from the front and one of us had to give way in terms of reversing, now I put my vehicle in reverse, give petrol and yet again, instead of changing gears it goes back to drive and my car goes forward instead of backwards, almost hitting this other vehicle. This parking lot is on three levels, this is a serious risk, I can over the rails. We need to go to work daily, we have other vehicles on the road, many times busy traffic, people running over roads, walking behind your car, pedestrian crossings, animals, etc. These gears drive and reverse are essential for safe and efficient driving. Chery has made such a huge impact in the South African market in terms of what the vehicles can offer, but it is really worth investing two thirds of your life savings and risking your life, the life of your child and others to have a safe and reliable vehicle and instead you are provided with a hazardous, unsafe, dangerous and malfunctioning vehicle. This is extremely concerning and it raises serious questions about these vehicles and their safety to their users and other road users (vehicles, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles, etc) and pedestrians. My vehicle has been with the repair centre since Wednesday 04 March 2026 after they initially said they could only help me the following week and on top of that they requested that I drive the vehicle to them in this condition?????? I refused; it has been a week. I am supposed to go to the office; I can’t because I don’t have transport. I am opening myself up to disciplinary action because this is not my employer’s problem and I as an employee need to adhere to my employer’s policies, but how do I do that without a vehicle? A vehicle that is supposed to be “new” and functioning, instead it is hazardous and malfunctioning. What am I to do if I lose my job????? All because I chose to buy one of your broken, bad built vehicles????? The repair centre doesn’t know what is wrong with my vehicle and they are trying to figure out the reason for this malfunctioning broken vehicle I got from you. Please let me know how you intend to fix this? And what are your plans with these dangerous vehicles?

My email address has my name and surname, Andrea Hendrikse. I have asked them countless times to remove my details from their system as I am not MR SHANGE, but alas, they keep on threatening and harassing me at my work email address???? Like really, what does it take to get through to a rock or the idiot behind the computer?

I will not say much, the bad reviews which are almost as much as the good reviews says it all. Do not take up Gap Cover with this company. The claim process is not simple and straightforward. You will be asked to submit "Pre-existing Questionaries" to your specialist at the hospital. I am sure, we had to disclose those when we app****...... I don't know how Pneumonia can be pre-existing, just an attempt to get out of the claim period window and not pay you. Check out the other complaints. This is what they do. STAY AWAY and go somewhere else with better reviews. Please do not contact me, I will NOT answer, there is nothing to say.
Good day, I would like to thank Siyanda Mdlulwa for the exceptional service we received. My mother's geyser burst which was replaced and paid for by my mother, she also had damage to her ceiling. My mother contacted Santam to register the claim, we sent through all documents to Santam on 21/01/2025, and on 22/01/2025 Santam confirmed that the claim was approved and the money my mother paid to have the geyser replaced was paid back to her by Santam. Santam also sent out another professional to assess the damage to the ceiling and this will also be attended to. Thank you Siyanda for the GREAT service!!!!
My journey with Discovery Health hasn't always been smooth sailing but I need to give credit where credit is due. I am pleasantly surprised and impressed with how they attended to my hospitilisation and the subsequent claims from the hospital and individual service providers. Everything has been paid in full as per my plan and I don't have any worries now, 5 weeks after my operation and I can go to bed without stress about claims and outstanding accounts. I had a complaint and received assistance from Tony. He could not get hold of me but diligently continued every day until he did. Tony assisted me swiftly, he was knowledgeable, friendly and went above and beyond to resolve my issue, he also took it a step further and asked if I had other questions or concerns which I did not raise and assisted with those as well. Thank you Tony, much appreciated, you made the experience pleasant.
This company is not paying my money into my account. I betted a couple of weeks ago with UFC and my money was paid into my account within 24 hours after withdrawal. So I thought they were legit. On Sunday I deposited R10k to try and make up some of the money I lost. Now they don't want to pay my money back into my account, it was 3 withdrawals totalling R13.2k. Obviously I have now used of this money. I need my money in my account ASAP. You have no reasons to deny my withdrawals. You did not deny my deposits. ************* betting site. Others be beware.
Beware of this Bank. I have an account which I want to close and they are blocking me from closing the account. I go to their branches, they are closed when the website says they are open. I have logged a complaint or query, they want to phone me, they phoned me, I didn't answer, now they have closed my request as per the email I received. I don't know why they want to phone me, because I do not want to keep the account open. It needs to be closed. Your calls won't change that. They gave me a number to opt in for Whatsapp chats, this number has given me a technical error for the past 5 days when I enter my ID number, all that I can think is that my ID is blocked from Whatsapp assistance because a Banker was assigned to convince me to keep my account. CLOSE MY ACCOUNT. I am not going to pay fees for another month for an account which I am not using. You are blocking me from closing my account and in return *****ing from me for no service.
