23 Aug 2023, 18:02 Computer Mania - Missold On 15 July 2023 i purchased a new Asus M515DA R7 from computer mania at Somerset West Mall. I specifically told the sales guy what i require which was a laptop with a battery life of 4hrs which will accommodate for loadshedding because i study and am about to write exams. He confirmed that i would get 4hrs battery life out of the product. On the first day of use it showed 4hrs but then it diminished and now i only get 2hrs out of it if i am lucky. I then took it in on 22 August 2024 to have it checked out and the technician stated that i can only get 2hrs30 battery life out of it. I am extremely upset as i was missold, if he told me that it does not have 4hrs battery life i would have purchased another one. Now i am sitting with something that i do not want as it does not meet my requirements

On Saturday, 05th November 2020 I had an appointment for a test drive for the below vehicle: The sales agent who attended to me was Angelo. During the conversation with Angelo he was very confident that I will still get the whenever I want it, I must just say. After the test-drive I confirmed that I wanted the vehicle and all the relevant documents were completed with me having to send Bank statement and 3 months payslips which I did on Monday, 07th November 2020. On Tuesday I received a call from your lady who congratulated me and informing me that the finance went through as I was going to give a deposit of R60 000. She also informed me of what the monthly instalment will be. I also received a call from your insurance guys who provided me quotes for Hollard, First for Women and S. A. Underwriters(which I agreed on). I then asked him okay so by when will I be receiving the car and he said that he will get Angelo to contact me. This never happened and I had to call. Then I got a story from Angelo that Dekra stated that the car was in an accident and that he cannot sell the car to me. My statement is then, why do you put a car on your floor if it has not been checked first to see if it can be sold. I drove the car and if this was the case it presented a risk. Angelo then advised that he spoke to you and the two of you were running around to get me another car and I specifically said, same colour, same milage and same price and he said yes. After being promised yesterday that he would give me a call first thing this morning, again it never happened and I had to contact him via whatsapp. He then said he was in training till 12pm and will give me a call thereafter which also never happened. And today he wants to smear off another car on me which I do not want. My choice was very precise. I want feedback before COB on Friday as to what the status of my car is because now I see that the car which I wanted is suddenly sold. Again, according to regulation all cars should be undergoing strict quality checks before being placed on the showroom floor. Some my question is why is your sales person thumbsucking?
I moved house at the end of August 2019 and requested Telkom to transfer my service to the new address. It included landline & ADSL. Telkom could not provide me with the same speed I had before which was 10Mps and I settled for 4Mps. A technician came to my new premises on 16 September 2019 to installed the service and advised that both landline & ADSL is working. I Got home and the ADSL did not work. 24 hrs later I called them and advised I still do not have access to ADSL even though I received username and password. They then told me that it will take another month before I get Telkom ADSL and at this point I told them to cancel as I no longer want their ADSL and I signed up with Afrihost. Lord and behold on 10 December 2019, almost 3 months later I get a message that my Telkom ADSL is working now with a username and password and they had the cheek to bill be for it . I immediately phoned in and explained the whole story to them. ****** hell, I have received a Telkom bill over R1000.00 which includes ADSL, I have phoned in now on several instance and it seems their staff do not know what's going on. They disconnect the phone on you, they transfer you to another department or they put your on mute!! This is the worst service, it does not even deserve 1 star. RESOLVE MY QUERY AND ADJUST MY BILL IMMEDIATLY, I DO NOT WANT ADSL WITH YOU(DON'T EVEN THINK TO DISCONNECT MY LANDLINE BECAUSE YOUR STUPID AGENTS WILL DO THAT) REMOVE YOUR ADSL AND ADJUST MY BILL!!!
Just before Christmas my husband and I made a cash purchase for a Restonic Topaz Base Set which was delivered on 22/12/2015. About a week after that we called in stating that the mattress is making a metal noise. We were then told that someone will call us back which nobody has. We then called in again during the next week and spoke to the salesperson who then stated that the factory only opens 11/01/2016. During the week of the 11/01/2016 nobody got back to us and then i phoned in again at which point i was told we will received a call back. We did receive one call back and we again had to advise what the problem was. Since the week of the 11/01/2016 nobody got back to us and i called in again on Friday, 21/01/2016 and asked to speak to the manager, who i again had to explain what was wrong. I stated that either they collect their base set and give our money back in order for us to make a purchase somewhere else. The manager then took my number and stated that someone will call me back. Up until this hour we have heard nothing from anybody from the store. You have our cash now it is to hell with whatever issues you have with the product sold to you!
Firstly, i would like to say that i am really getting worried being a part of Zone Fitness, Wynberg Branch, I visited the branch in Wynberg on 07th March 2015 where i spoke to Kazz Abrahams, He made my deal sound so good which was initiation fee of R100 and R175 p/m and also a personal trainer for 18wks. I then signed up. On my first session with the trainer (Ricardo) he then advised that Kazz should not have told me that it was 18wks as it is only 1 session with a trainer. I am not happy because they are making their problem my problem. I do not appreciate being lied to and being provided with poor service and false advertising as now they are passing the buck. My expectations are not managed according and if it means that i must spread the word not to trust Zone Fitness and their sales consultants then i shall do so. I work in an industry where there is a lot of people that works in the area and if influenced with facts will give Zone Fitness Wynberg and wide berth. If i knew what i know now, i would not have joined.
