Be very careful when signing a contract with Uniwisp especially for Delmas and outlying areas. Your internet speed is slow and you do not get what you pay for. Also remember that even if your internet is not working well and you are not happy with them, you still have to give 90 days notice before the end of a 12 month term or they will charge you 3 months cancellation fee.
I'd give zero stars if I could. Discovery has been playing games since 17th February. My audiologist submitted a cochlear implant upgrade request to them. Bear in mind, I am allowed to upgrade every three years so my claim and benefit is valid. They authorized but then rejected the claim. Fast forward to 20th March, my audiologist had a conversation with them and Discovery gave the wrong authorization number that was used already three years ago and so a new authorization number is required. Apparently, that was rejected as well. I got my broker involved on 5th April and she requested them to re-process the claim. 12th April, I had to ask what was happening. She mentioned that it is still in processing. 14th April, she emailed to say Discovery rejected the claim again. I took it upon myself to chat to Vonita on Discovery Chat app online. She said it has been escalated and should be resolved, this was supposed to have been resolved already. If I could swear at Discovery, I would. But this is what I have to say. Discovery has given me pathetic and disgusting service since 17th February. If Discovery still plays games even after this post on Hello Peter, I am going to report them to CMS.
It is unfortunate that I am doing this, but people need to be aware of how "The Courier Guy" operates. This is what they do to unsuspecting people, like they did to my friend who accepted on my behalf. I had two separate orders that was delivered from Cape Town. The first order had "two" parcels on UA623743800. The second order had "one" parcel on UA631702200 which is a value of R12000. The Courier Guy delivered only one parcel on UA623743800 on Wednesday 10 March and made my friend sign the waybill UA623743800. Then they went and delivered the second parcel on UA623743800 on Thursday 11 March and made my friend sign the apparently waybill UA631702200. Now they want to be funny and say that they did deliver all "three" parcels. This is theft and The Courier Guy cannot be trusted with your parcels anymore. Don't say I didn't warn you.
At Imperial Select East Rand in Jansen Park, Boksburg, I was looking for a car. I was dealing with Flip van der Merwe who is a Sales Manager. I had indicated to him that I was not happy with the installment and that it was too high. I believe that as a customer, I have the right to say no to a car deal that I am not happy with. I decided to go for a motorbike instead and have been approved by MFC. MFC would only release the contract for me to sign if I got the letter from Imperial Select East Rand to confirm that I was not going to get a car anymore. I asked my boss if he could phone on my behalf as I am deaf. Surprise......Flip was rude to my boss and was upset and said that I was messing him around and so on and that he does not need to give me a letter. This is a shocking attitude of a sales manager to do this??? This must be dealt with as people seem to think that being rude is a given right. Again, I am a customer and I have the "right" to say "NO" to a car deal that I am not happy with. I would like an apology in email from Flip for being rude to my boss and for thinking he has the God given right to act like that.
Your online ordering is useless. I did an online application and I got a confirmation email so that I could track the online order. Application cannot be processed online and to contact on this number. Problem is I am deaf. So I did the online chat and was given ********** as the email address to use. If likeminds is the outsourcing company, then you "Vodacom" are allowing them to tarnish your reputation. Vodacom has always been a pleasure to deal with but this is just not on that I must resort to Hello Peter to get a response. Again note, I am deaf so do not call me, Email me.

Consultant, Tshifhiwa Mamphiswana, was very helpful and patient in responding to my questions regarding my insurance.
My installment was adjusted as needed according to my specifications. Online chat is well worth it as I am deaf and this is a fantastic thing that Miway has put into place which saves me from trying to hear on the phone.

Thank you Tshifhiwa!

Jeff

Long story short, I have medical aid with Discovery, but between Discovery Medical and Discovery Insure, they might as well be two completely different companies. I emailed Discovery Insure to get a quote. The installment was at R831. When I emailed back to ask if they can't do better than that, R70 discount is not alot to ask? No, they don't give a crap, just \Sorry
I'm hoping this will get a kick out of their poor service. I emailed on 18th September. I emailed again on 21 September because I got no response. Emailed again this morning and nothing...!
And they must not say they've been trying to call me because I specifically stated in the first email that they are to email me and not phone me as I am deaf. Now that I am posting here, will they now finally email me??
I cancelled with Miway Insurance ONLINE on Thursday night as I was not happy with their insurance premium increase and their policy. I have found a better insurance deal.
My problem with them is that my mom phoned them today and they said they know nothing about a cancellation and are not refunding my money back. I have now been charged twice with insurance and Miway has stolen my money.
They insisted that I phone them which is ridiculous since I am deaf and cannot hear on the phones and they should have known that from the time I started with them.
Not happy at all with them for taking my money. I gave enough notice.
