Broke down with car exhaust problem mid-afternoon, AA Lifted my car and took it to Supa Quick. They made a special effort to help me, welded up the damaged pipe. and then told me there would be NO CHARGE. Unbelieveably helpful thank you guys Richard Melville
Do not even consider returning goods to Takealot, after emailing 12 different contacts over a period of 100 days eventually got the OK to return 2 books ordered by mistake. got a refund for only one!!! Product was collected on 21st December 2024, and mistaken product returned in original packaging. Last contact was by e -mail from them on the 16th March saying they were looking into the problem, no response since. I will never use them again, and will advise my friends and employees to do the same. The whole saga is a monumental stuff up by 12 sales employees.
Do not try to return an item to Takealot, I bought two of the same items thinking they were a medication on the 1st December2024. When I collected it, 21st December found out it was a book. infact 2. After 5 different people I contacted over a period of two weeks, who wanted all sorts of papers, my wifes death certificate the legal documents transferring her estate all because she was the original member. I paid on my credit card.!!! I returned the goods. Finally a credit was issued but was for half the amount. I queried this and was told that they would check the warehouse three weeks ago and 2 reminders and still no response. I will never buy anything ever again from Talealot, and tell all my friends to not to.
I went on line to find herbal medication for vision problems. Medication with certain natural herbs is what I was looking for. I went to Takealot and saw what I thought was various medications in boxes and bottles. I chose one and ordered two. Nowhere did it mention that the product was in fact a book, if I had known that why would I order 2. Imagine my surprise when two books were delivered. On requesting to return these I ended up speaking to 4 different people and getting a very uncompromising reply saying that the E mail was not in my name and as it was in my deceased wife's name they needed death certificate her ID details of the contents of the will. What possible reason can they need this information. I ordered the item I paid on my credit card, my deceased wife , as far as I know did not even know about Takealot. $ of their people obviously do not talk to each other. I will never order anything again from Takealot, tel all my friends about this nonsence and report them to the Advertisng Standards Authourity
Congratulations Multichoice have surpassed their record, we no longer need to worry as the programmes have now stopped interrupting the adverti*****ts. Now when I have selected DMX I get messages that I have not paid my monthly subscription and also that it is not on my plan. I am on Premium and the cost is paid by debit order..
These people are a total ***** up they have on one occasion totally messed up the INR readings on my blood as I am on warfarin treatment. There accounting is also up to maggots as they do not seem to know the difference between an invoice and a statement. They then mix up two different treatments put them on the same statement which is supposed to be an invoice and then put the wrong ICD 10 code on the whole lot which the medical aid then reject. Then when i query it they threaten to take me to court When I have paid the amount in desperation, they are too stupid to identify the payment. And these people have our lives in their hands????
I have been a Multichoice Premium customer for as long as they existed, and have always paid by debit arrangement. My decoders were getting old. About a year ago they persuaded me to upgrade my agreement for a small extra fee and a 2 year contract. They supp**** a new decoder which had a greater memory capacity. This new decoder capacity was actually less than my existing one and did not show the programme number. Just after the new contract they charged me three months at one go and said I was using the other decoder elsewhere, which according to them could not happen anyway and I was not. I eventually got one month back but a second month is still owed. In the meantime the advertising has increase to at least 14 minutes out of every hour, the signal is constantly going out, programme descriptions often bare no relation to the contents, and timing is also not as published. The whole thing is a major **** and I am stuck with it for another 12 months
Can nothing be made properly in South Africa? Baby Soft toilet paper is supposed to be good quality, why then do a lot of the sheets have pieces on the side and not connected to the rest of the roll and some are folded in? In most cases if you try and pull off 3 or 4 sheets you will be lucky if they are attached to one another. The paper may be 2 ply but the ply's give the impression of being thinner
Do not buy a Hoover upright Vacuum cleaner without reading the instruction manual in which it tells you you cannot use it for more than 15 minutes at a time as it overheats. Guess what I bought one and it did overheat and it took over an hour to become usable. They should put on the box 15 minutes use only.
This company could not supply a CD after money was taken, then sent a lower price and still could not supply, I requested a refund gave my banking details as requested and now it is more than a month and no response. They say they are very experienced in on-line sales. Yea right.
