since the 24th of August to date, I am not able to receive any calls. I can dial out but can't receive calls. I have phoned MTN customer care services numerous times and got ref numbers but the issue does not get restored. I visited MTN stores with feedback that they can't help only the call centre is able to assist with sim issues. i have sent emails but no response from MTN? MTN is collecting their monthly subscription fees but cant assist with sim issues? if I want to cancel my contract I am told I am in breach but they can't fix my issues???????

I have an MTN contract but there are no issues collecting monthly premiums but log a call with MTN that you have issues with your sim card then there is no assistance in this matter!!!! MTN just doesn't care as long as you pay your monthly bill all is fine? I made numerous calls to MTN customer care and visited MTN stores for assistance and the worst part is the MTN stores refers you to the call centre... all i am told is that it is an MTN issue and it will be resolved...... 11 days later you still wait for the matter to be resolved? I hope that the HaloPeter review will bring attention to the management level and hopefully look into this matter and investigate this further? oh, and if you want to cancel your contract due to poor service (can't make outgoing calls) you in breach of contract?????
Customer services - great service from all departments involved: my partner did an online purchase from GAME a year ago and purchased a Samsung washing machine online. 2 weeks ago the machine did not want to spin or drain water. we contacted Game customer services to find out how the warranty works and spoke to ADAM who was very helpful and advise us to send an email - ADAM explained the steps that will need to be followed so that we can understand the turnaround time . GAME head office and GAME store that delivered the machine in Bethlehem was in regular contact - daily - to give status updates, as well as Samsung, also did regular follow-ups. Good morning - am typing this review, to give a big thank you to a member of the G4S team - Victor Sibasa. New Road in Midrand is labeled as a hot spot zone - smash and grab. Not a safe place for a woman alone to experience a vehicle break down at 07:30 am peak hour. This morning 26 July 2021 on New road my vehicle broke down. I was lucky to pull off just before the N1 off-ramp not to be standing in the middle of a busy lane during peak hour, but not lucky enough that it is a hot spot for smash and grab. A G4S vehicle was doing his usual stand-off on New road (i see them every day during the week doing their standoffs during peak time - morning and afternoons) and the stand-off happened to be across from me - as I pulled off Victor noticed something wrong and walked across to me to find out if I am ok and if I need help. I was on the phone with my partner, Rudi Bekker, who lives in Bethlehem. Rudi phoned our mechanic for assistance and while I was waiting for the mechanic, Victor took the initiative to get in his vehicle and make a U-Turn with his strope lights on and parked the G4S vehicle behind my vehicle. He did a stand-off until the mechanic arrived. Here is the most amazing part.... as the mechanic stopped behind the G4S vehicle at about 08:41 am and the mechanic, got out of the vehicle, Victor got out of his vehicle and questioned the mechanic "who what and why?" When the mechanic identified himself, Victor walked with him up to my vehicle, until I acknowledged I know the person and he is the mechanic I was waiting for... Now with today, the pandemic the country is facing with so much negativity and challenges, it is so amazing to see that there is a person like Victor that just makes sure another person is safe until assistance arrived regardless of his security stand-off procedures/duties. Thank you to Victor - it was a bad start to my week - breaking down on a Monday morning, in a hot spot zone, but what a beautiful thought to know that there is still humanity out there. Please pay my gratitude to Victor Sibasa - I am so thankful for what you did Victor - thank you very much.
if you phone their 0860 number to speak to a consultant be prepared to be on hold for 15min once you finally get to speak to a consultant who does not understand English and fail to update your contact updates as requested. requesting a withdrawal - you will have to phone more than once you have to send more than 1 email. you have to log a complaint. you have to send a message to the *120* number. all to find out you still cant withdrawal cause your details is not updated and the automated sms get send to a number not in use anymore.... You just cant get assisted!
call back turn around time takes 3 working days..... if you are interested to take out insurance and request a call back form MiWay to get more info on their products then prepare to wait a looooong time!!!! other insurance companies take 2 - 5 min ....

i received a call from a company - very exited very hyped up that my name was selected by Mount Amanzi Resort and i won a free holiday voucher.... WOW there is a catch.... you don't get free holidays or free holiday vouchers ANYWHERE unless there is a catch...... the consultant told me free holiday for 5 days (valid for 12 months) all i have to do it collect my ticket at either 4pm or 6pm at either Bryanston or Pretoria.... i asked repeatedly "IS THERE ANY HIDDEN COSTS"... the consultant replied NO.... free holiday and all that is expected from me is to bring my own groceries and get to the resort using my own transport and to give a review after my stay at the resort and advertise word of mouth.... Ok well then sign me up.... the next day the manageress phoned me to confirm if the consultant gave the the correct information and again I asked "IS THIS TIME SHARE SALES"... she replied NO. collect your ticket - select the resort where i want to be going and enjoy... I asked again IS THERE HIDDEN COSTS... she replied NO..... OK well then confirm my appointment. I phoned the resort the next day to find out it IS time share but no obligation to buy and your voucher is only valid 3 months after collecting it and Monday to Friday out of season only..... OMW thank goodness i did not spend the money on fuel to drive all the way to the address where i was suppose to collect my "ticket / voucher" thank goodness i did not waste my time! ............. Very Disappointed and not even an apology from the resort when i told them this is false advertising ....
today is the 21/11/2019 i received a call on the 18/11/2019 from a consultant The Box Fashion - i give her the credit - she had the personality to sell, BUT she was so fast she did not even give a me change to think - she is selling gift boxes that you will get and free voucher and WOW.... here comes the CATCH I am now a member and there is a monthly fee of R349 or something and payable from end of November or if not then in December 2019!!!!! WOW how did this happen? the consultant is selling gift boxes and vouchers to me over the phone (while at work....) and I am instantly a member! i told the consultant i need to think about this monthly contribution and will give a call back and the very next day 20/11/2019 i phoned to cancel.... this is why i am giving my review - today 21/11/2019 a consultant phoned me to tell me MY MEMBERSHIP STAYS AS IS..... encase I decide to otherwise and they will contact me 3 months from now.... What does this mean... I want to cancel my membership to avoid money being deducted! what assurance do i have my money is safe in the bank and that The box will not deduct???? this is a NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cancel my membership - Delete my name from your system - Delete my number..... Delete my email address
hi there hallo peter readers - PLEASE take note: STAY AWAY / DO NOT CLICK / NO NOT VIEW this company on google - this company is scammers! I was desperate for a loan and ended up paying them after not receiving ANY service from them or their lenders. they deducted money monthly from my salary and it was money i could not afford to loose.... I battled to cancel the electronic agreement and to stop debit orders going off monthly and had to pay them a cancellation fee! After paying what was owed to them their legal department have put a judgement against my name for R40.50 . the cancellation fee that they send me was apparently not correct and i fight for months to rectify it but failed! i wish there is someone out there that can stop this company for effecting another family with their false advertising!!!!!! we can only rate them on Hallo Peter but that is about it...... Please do not use these people you will be sorry!!!!!!!!!!!
