I am waiting a month now for a response from them regarding a visa botch up that cost me almost R30k after having queried how the visa was going to work with one of their agents. It was nasty experience that travelers should be aware of and the least I expect is a response from them and I want that many back as I am now in a financial crisis.

Stop buying LG TVs!!!! - Poor Service - No Availabilty of Parts for LG Smart TV
I purchased an 55'' OLED about 7 years ago for R25k especially for the 3D feature and the TV was barely used as it sat in my TV lounge and the maximum number of times I used it over the years is about 30 times and then recently the screen would not come on. So I contacted their repair centre who assessed the unit and then came back saying that there are no parts available worldwide to repair the TV. Imagine a motor manufacturer telling you that a part is not available and you have to s**** your car??? This is purely commercial exploitation as they want you to buy the newer models and get you to spend more... *******!! Don't buy their products!!!

RYOBI lawnmowers, 1st class **** and a rip-off!! They do not honour their warranty!!
Bought a Ryobi lawnmower with a 2 year warranty and it stopped working. Sent it in to be checked / repaired and Ryobi comes back and says that the motor is burnt??? so they don't have parts to replace it so I need to pay for a new unit??? I have not even done 10 cuts with this machine for an area about 30 square metres and this piece of **** has failed and they refuse to honour the warranty. DO NOT BUY RYOBI PRODUCTS!! and stop supporting Builders that supply sub standard, dishonest vendors!

Charges unacceptable and unethical!
Hi, Sent this message to Debonairs Pizza Verulam! Since when is it assumed that a store is automatically allowed to add a 10% tip to the bill when they already charge you a R10 delivery fee. The tip is also being calculated on the added delivery charge. This is totally unethical and a rip-off! The payment of a tip is optional and I will stop buying from this branch and this charge cannot be assumed!! Regards Rabind

A disaster and unprofessional company to deal with, be aware and careful!
I booked at Cayley Mountain lodge for the Easter weekend via Booking.com but cancelled due to personal reasons. BEWARE: they debit your account within hours for the full amount(R25k). Cancellation is a disaster: I logged the cancellation on the 28Jan and had to phone them today to check today(3Feb) and it was not actioned yet and they then point you to a 14 day return policy on Booking.com whilst they enjoy the interest of your funds. So I asked the stroppy lady to advise when the refund will be paid and she said it could take 14 days, from when????????? They also need some kind of management approval to release your funds???

An inefficient, incompetent organisation!
I have been paying home insurance to cover the structure of my property for more than 20 years with ABSA and decided to close my account on their asking for a R2 credit on the account??? I cannot believe that after asking 5 times via emails and having cancelled my insurance with them last year they keep sending me a renewal notification of R5k for the current year! Pathetic and what will it take to cancel??
