I purchased a 500g box of Kellogg's Corn Flakes and was distressed to find a huge lump of a disgusting object (yet to be defined!) in the box.. I have been in email and telephonic contact with one of their customer care agents for 10 days, having sent photos, proof of purchase, proof of expiry date, etc. etc. I was promised that someone would collect the faulty product. I waited in the whole day, nobody arrived. I have been using Kellogg's over other name brands for decades, but this is the end!! I will NEVER purchase a Kellogg's product again. How shocking that nobody at the company seems interested or shows any assistance to see exactly what was in my product.
I have used NetFlorist on many occasions, and they always deliver lovely flowers on time. Very happy with their service.
This website advertises "Ships within 24 hours". However, it fails to mention that the goods I ordered were from China. Tracking showed shipped : Shanghai to ****guan, to Shenzhen etc. etc. So it took 3 weeks for 1 item to arrive and nearly 4 weeks for the 2nd item WHICH WAS A DUPLICATE OF THE FIRST ITEM. I reported that they had shipped a duplicate and not the item I had ordered and received an email saying "I'm so sorry for the bad experience". That's it. No offer to correct their mistake, to collect the duplicate and arrange for the correct item to be sent to me, nothing. I will NEVER use Fruugo ever again.
I dropped off urgent documents in the Aramex box at Pick n Pay which were collected by them on Friday 5 October. As at 12h00 on Thursday 11 October these have not been delivered and nobody can assist me. When I rang on Tuesday 9 October I was told Randgate was out of their area so it would take 2 to 3 business days. Fair enough. When I rang on Wednesday 10 October and spoke to Brylynne I was told my documents would be delivered that day. When I rang on Thursday 11 October and spoke to Sanrina I was assured she had escalated the matter and somebody would phone. On Tuesday 9 October I also sent a message via their website. Nothing. Silence. These documents are required by attorneys in order to proceed with the sale of a property and lack of delivery thereof is delaying the sale. If they have lost my documents, at least be honest and let me know so that I can start the process all over again AND FIND ANOTHER COURIER COMPANY TO DELIVER THE NEW DOCUMENTS.
Definitely scam artists. They no longer bother to reply to emails, their telephone numbers remain unanswered. Their main number ********** gets diverted to ********** which also remains answered. Their CT and Bloemfontein numbers do not exist. How can these people continue in business?? I want to take them to Small Claims Court but cannot find an address on which to serve my Letter of Demand. I have also completed the NCC form and submitted a complaint. The more people who can report them to the NCC the better.
I rang Roto Rooter at 08h00 for a serious problem with a blocked drain. Two highly efficient gentlemen arrived at 10h45 and within an hour the problem was resolved. Very quick service and the gentlemen on site were very experienced and knew exactly what they were doing. Very impressed and grateful that such good service is still available from some companies!!

Mr Ndova quoted me R5000 to replace the kerbstones on my pavement and to tar the pavement. He requested 50% deposit (R2750) upfront which I paid. A day later than scheduled, he arrived and brought 3 workers to demolish the old kerbstones. The workers then left leaving all the rubble in the street. I called and called asking for this to be removed before nightfall. Nothing happened. I never saw him again. After many phone calls he finally sent the same 3 workers with new stones & they took the rubble.. The new kerbs were not cemented in, they were simply put in place using the earth from the road where they had removed the old ones. The workers said they would be coming to tar the next day. That was 4 days ago. He doesn't reply to our email & he has made many false promises - both on email and on SMS. I now have no alternative but to find another contractor to finish the job and pay double. We told him in one telephone call & in an email that as far as we were concerned we have been scammed & that we would be taking the matter to the press. This obviously did not concern him as he has R2750 and has no intention of fulfilling his contract. Be careful of this company.
I used the services of NetFlorist for the first time last week and was very impressed by the fact that they keep you informed via email - when the delivery is en route and then again when it has been delivered and who signed for it. Very efficient. And I enjoyed their sense of humour in their emails!!
I posted a report on 19 Jan. re. an incorrectly supplied shoe cabinet. According to this HelloPeter website, Groupon replied by email??? No email response ever received. Did have a phone call from a gentleman who was going to come back to me after 26th...today is 30th, but then again I suppose he didn't say HOW long after the 26th!!!! I guess I'm never going to get the item I ordered and paid for
