Tried to cancel two numbers that are no longer used. Spoke to Andile Mthembu who was harassing me to upgrade so he could make a sale and insisted I shouldn't cancel. When I was determined to cancel he dropped the call
Once again FNB prove themselves to be lying *******!!! I have a 32 day notice account, which I have been trying to close for months. On the app, I keep getting an error when trying to withdraw my money, not even via an early payment. When I called the investment department, after holding on forever as usual, I was told I have to go into the branch (in 2024!!). No reason given, just that I have to go in to clear a hold on the account, also no reason given for the hold. I eventually managed to go in this Saturday to the Randburg branch. I verified my information with Kobus and Ntombi and completed a verification form for Sars. Ntombi was unsuccessful in lifting the hold, even after speaking to the investment dept., despite me being there for over an hour. She couldn't explain it as she said it's usually lifted immediately after submitting the form. She called me today to say I must come in again to verify myself again!!!!! What utter bull**** is this?!?! FNB give me my damn money you thieving assholes!!
Pathetic attitude and disgusting service from Chad. They make promises to come out and don't bother to do so until you follow up a number of times. Then he asked personal questions that has nothing to do with him about my living situation, only to refuse to offer anything for a perfectly good piece of furniture after making me wait around while he asks for permission. When asked why did they waste my time, he rudely says I wasted his time. Joke is on them as I managed to sell the item for more than they initially considered.

FNB has the worst call center staff ever!! Almost as bad as government agencies. After you hold on forever to get a hold of someone, they cut you off, keep you on hold and forget about you, are not interested in helping you, love to pass the buck and generally have bad attitudes!! Definitely moving to Standard Bank. FNB SUCKS!!!

Dumisani at Dischem The Glen is a RUDE, INCOMPETENT, WASTE OF LIFE IDIOT!! I hope one day Dumisani is put in the position of trying to find medication for his child and being put in contact with an ass wipe like himself who refuses to get off his privileged, entitled backside to help someone. He could learn a thing or two from Julia at the same branch who is an absolute gem. It's just unfortunate she wasn't in today.
BIGGEST SCAM AND WORST CON ARTISTS EVER! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!! They don't deliver on time and after weeks of begging they delivered part of my order with the most shoddy workmanship! Then I was promised my deposit was refunded but I have never received proof of payment nor the refund. LIARS AND THIEVES!
