I ordered a pair of shoes for R899.00 and received a box of breast milk storage bags. I logged a return and more than 48 hours have gone by and I have had no response. I sent DM on Facebook just to received an auto reply saying I must log a return. There are only automated responses and no action. But we must be polite on line and not express in full how utterly enraged we are. This is disgusting customer care. Takealot you seem to have grown into a company that does not remember that the customer pays your salary, I will be cancelling my Takealot MORE also. Send me my shoes!
Ordered a console 26 Feb, still waiting and we are almost halfway through April. Every week i was receiving a mail stating my order is still on track for 2 April 2025, now that it is late no one is respond to me, but come payday you will get whatsapps and emails like it is Christmas. This is not the first time either I have had to request a refund before for the same reason. Tired of Rentoza!
This is a great concept for people who don't like debt but my goodness, the customer service is abysmal. I reached the end of my subscription term, with alot of effort due to having to follow links online which are not very user friendly or streamlined, I requested a buy out agreement which I received and signed resulting in a new payment amount over 3 months. First date for payment came and they once again deducted my old subscription amount. Then you cant just pick up a phone and rectify, (if you can, somebody please help me on the right path here) you have to sweat it out online till you receive delayed e-mail responses. And no one tells you what the resolution is, then your ticket lapses and you have to start the whole tideous process over again. Credit is not cool but it is much less exhausting than dealing with Rentoza. The whole attitude is just like giving we don't need your money vibes.
Can someone please help cancel my existing orders which was incorrectly processed and explain why MTN must do a credit check for a month to month sim only deal???
My experience with Cool Ideas cannot be fully described in this review or it is likely not to be allowed to be published. So let me just say. Customer service is plastic, vague and generic. Service delivery is slow to non existent. I was told more than 48 hours ago it takes 24 to 48 hours to activate a line. My line is still not active and due to their office hours and seemingly no after hours support system I will have to wait for Monday to follow up and hope I don't get another generic and vague reply from them. Apparently they cannot find my address. Open a map folks how hard can it be?
Paid them R1250,00 4 months later they have still not cleared my fines, worst of all on a work vehicle so they still playing with my job too. Now the relevant municipality is hounding my boss for the payment of these fines, they have offered him a discount which if FINE SA pays eventually after reeking havoc in my life they get to line their pocket with. I would 100% not ever recommend using them! You can save 50% cash by just going and doing it yourself and then it is done and you don't have to give it another thought. Pay Fine SA and you can't relax because they will do what they want, tell you how they gonna do what they want and expect you to be grateful for the service they fail to provide.

They display incorrect reports on your profile then when you log a dispute they misread the info and fail to resolve.
They claim to be collecting against your account with a company you owe, then they take your money and dont clear your name.
