Unauthorised payment taken on my credit card for mobile streaming which I did not subscribe for. When I contacted dstv they said it was a mistake on their side and refund will be done within 14 business days. 17 days have passed and have not refunded. I know dstv is in financial difficulty but this is daylight *******!
I placed an order with samsung and cancelled it. I received a cancellation confirmation stating that a refund will be done within 5 business days. The 5 days have already lapsed and when I contacted samsung they cannot give me answers. I have been a loyal Samsung customer for many years and after this experience I doubt I'll be buying any samsung products.
On the 24th February an Imperial Logistics truck driver (registration JN 21 TW GP) drove me off the road. Their website has a road safety initiative but it seems they hire reckless drivers with not a care in the world for other road users.
Please stay away as they are ridiculously expensive. I got locked out of my house. It took them 1 minute to get the door open and was charged R1250 on top of the R350 callout. To make matters worse they charged me an additional 3% surcharge for using a credit card to make payment which i later found out is illegal.
The worst customer service!! Beginning of July I went to the CTM Gezina branch looking for a tap aerator for a brand which I think only they stock. A guy by the name of Eugene assisted me and told me they don't carry stock and it has to be ordered. 2 weeks later I called to enquire if my order arrived and was told by Caroline that it still hasn't arrived and will call when it does. A week later still no phone call so I had to call them once again. Spoke to Ben who did an investigation to the conclusion the order was not placed. Received a phone call later that day from Eugene stating they have NOW placed the order and it will be at the store within a week. Once again no correspondence from them and it is now towards the end of August. When I called to speak to Eugene or Ben they're not available and don't return my calls. Please do not buy from this company as when parts are needed they cannot assist and don't even have the decency to return calls. Received similar service from the CTM centurion so it must be the level of service or rather lack of service culture.
I purchased and replaced front brake pads at Pretoria North Toyota on the 21st of February 2020. After 1 week of driving the brakes started making a screeching sound when braking. I took the car back to the dealership and they advised me that the brake discs needs to be replaced and quoted me almost R 8000. I knew the brake discs were fine so when I took my car in for a service on the 6th of May 2020 I told them to check the brakes again. They then advised me that the brakes are 60% worn and I'll need to purchase new brakes. I explained that the car was only driven for a month as we were in lockdown. The service consultant then told me she'll investigate. When I called the next day she said that they have a cheaper quality and a more expensive (better) quality brakes and the ones they fitted were of the inferior quality so I must now PURCHASE the better quality brakes. I was NOT given the option of which to fit at the time. Toyota insists on fitting genuine parts but at this level of quality and service why bother with genuine parts! Please stay away from this dealership.
It seems this is the only platform for FNB to get my queries resolved. I called the FNB credit card division to query the interest charge on my April statement. I spoke to Kgothatso Ntshanana (Ref : Rm20040832287) who by the way was very rude. She advised that the interest charged was for fuel purchases made from my credit card - to my surprise as I have never been charged interest for fuel purchases in 12 years as an FNB client. She insisted that fuel purchases accrue an interest charge. I then asked her to check my March statement in which I have made several fuel purchases but have not been charged interest. She then told me to hold on to which I did for 15 minutes without her coming back on the phone. I then dropped the call as I could not hold on any longer. On the FNB website it states - "Enjoy up to 55 days interest free on purchases made on your straight FNB credit card facility. Purchases do not include cash transactions, traveller's cheque purchases and certain forex transactions." I have also for the past several months set my automatic credit card payment to full statement balance but with FNB's incompetency takes a minimum payment due to which I then have to MANUALLY transfer the full statement balance. It is now time for me to get rid of this useless bank and move elsewhere as FNB are not where they used to be. Good bye FNB!!!
Isaac, owner of company completely dishonest. I was bumped by one of his drivers who skipped a stop street and initially when I called, Isaac said he would see to the matter. However, it has now been over a month and every time I call him he has another excuse as to the delay. Please exercise extreme caution when dealing with this company.
On my Credit card balance, the full amount is normally debited on the 1st of each month. On the 1st of October the payment was debited as usual. On the 4th of October I then changed it to a fixed amount to be debited at the end of each month. The next day the fixed amount which I set it to was debited from my cheque account. So basically 2 payments were taken off within a few days. When I queried it the consultant told me the second payment will be reversed and I won't be charged any fees for the reversal. No reversal came through. The next day I was told by another consultant that credit card debit orders cannot be reversed and I will have to transfer it myself. The problem with that is I will then have to pay interest on the amount transferred back to my cheque account. I have been a long time client with FNB and at this level of service I'll be looking elsewhere to bank.
I went to an istore to upgrade my telkom mobile contract as the Telkom stores did not have ANY iPhones in stock. I went through the paperwork process which was fine. Then comes the part where I'm asked a few ridiculous security questions which were all answered correctly but according to telkom was not. So the kind lady at the istore runs it a second time and guess what...failed again! It seems Telkom does not want their loyal clients to stay with them. I have 2 contracts with Telkom which I will run down until they expire and sign up with a another service provider. Goodbye telkom!!!!
