What *********** bunch of people calling daily multiple times with different scripts. I took a loan of just R2000 in 2024 which I have been diligently without fail. The agents call me daily even twice a day asking me to get a top up loan which I refuse. Today was the last straw when agent phoned saying I was in arrears. When I told her the last debit was 20 June 2025 she checked and said she apologises after telling me multiple times to calm down in Zulu. I don't appreciate your incompetence and harassment.
In June 2022 I went to Built it to get a building loan. I signed up for the 36 months loan of R80 000 where I received building material and cash from Evolution Finance. They deduct R3799.00 every month from my account and I have never failed to pay. My contract states that 36 months ends May 2025 therefore expect last deduction to be so. However when I called Evolution Finance to verify that no more deductions should be made the lady on the phone said I have R11 000 in areas and they will continue to debit from my account. She stated that the loan repayments fluctuate as per interest rate and I was sent sms's to adjust repayments according to interest rate. I was shocked. I checked my phone and I have never received such an sms. The sms's I received were just telling me to check my statement. I have in total paid R136 764 for this R80 000 loan. It's enough, *****ing R11 000 more from me is ******** and I will take this to the highest Ombudsman and court until Evolution Finance stops robbing people and is closed down for good.
This is the second time I'm writing about Alex Forbes. The first time was about poor response on getting to their website. After writing here a day later they responded to my emails which were ignored for weeks. After I finally got into their website to make a withdrawal I am still awaiting as system has been saying FINALISED for weeks. I call they don't answer. I send emails they responded after weeks asking for ID number. I responded quickly and weeks later no response. I call daily and email daily and I'm ignored. Is my money safe. Did Alexander Forbes ***** my money. Those who app**** before me received their funds. Move my money now to Momentum because Alexander Forbes clearly don't know what they doing.
Poor service. No response to emails. I have called and emailed for weeks now with no assistance. I'm unable to log into the system. Someone responded and asked for my ID Number from Connect. However went silent after that. I have phoned and phones to so resolve. Now I'm worried that the IT guy stoke my money. Alexander forbes has been useless in helping resolve this.
I opened a Fibre contracted with vodacom November 2020 as I was working from home which was R599pm. I received bill following month of R8600. I enquired on the cost and I was told took on another package besides the Fibre. I disputed that and canceled contract with Vodacom. I went to the branch to get more information and it's told to complete forms; get affidavit from.police station and I did all that. I called fraud department and emailed them several times and was told to await a call from Vusi. No call came. I kept calling with no resolve and kept sending emails with no response. 2 years later MBD calls me constantly saying I o Vodacom R18 000 and must settle the fee. How? Vodacom must resolve internal fraudsters and leaving customers out of this.
Fonso Construction provided me with NHBRC Certificate and after reviewing my plans quoted me R100 000 to build my extension. During Construction there wee many errors including the one of staircase. The rises are uneven and thread too small for footing. Farai Elfonso brought his builders to repair by adding bricks and plastering. Those builders still got it wrong s engineers said they are wrong and dangerous. Risers uneven and thread better at 250mm. I even fell down the stairs to show how uneven they are. Many builders have come to inspect and said it must be fixed. Fonso Construction refuses to fix the stairs.
In October I enquired about vodacom wifi and accepted the quote of R680pm on uncapped wifi. All of a sudden i saw a deduction of R1800 from my account and enquired from vodacom and they said that a phone line was added to my contract which i did not request or order. I asked the lady to cancel it as i had no knowledge of it and i already have to cellphones and do not need any other. She told me she would cancel it. She did not because a month later December 2020 vodacom debitted R6780 from my account which bounced and I enquired once again and i was told it is the bill for the phone line not the wifi. I called vodacom and asked that they cancel this once again and i was informed that inorder to cancel the contract I must get an affidavit from the police station confirming that i have no knowledge of the phone line and also present my ID to take to the store.I did so on the 11 January 2021. The store manager email the documents on the 12 January 2021 to frauddisputes@vodacom.co.za and I was provided a reference number. 3 weeks later they (Frauddisputes@vodacom.co.za) email me asking for the same documents and there is no phone number provided to actually explain to them as they only communicate via email. I have sent several emails and there is no resolve. Vodacom cancelled my wifi only after 1 month of being a customer because of this. this is ridiculous. i only signed of for wifi not this headache. I have called vodacom several times and get different from responses from different agents.

I had my towed to 2014 Kia Rio Sedan towed as my car needed repairs. Kia told me the clutch needs to be replaced. This cost R9900.00 which I gracious accepted. I collected the vehicle and made the payment as advised. On Friday 17 August 2017 after after two days of driving it, I felt the gears were stiff and and notified Yvette from Kia Centurion. She advised that I return the vehicle gor an assessment which i did on Monday 21 August 2017. The mechanic drove the vehicle in my presence and confirmed that the gears were stiff. I was asked to leave it for the day. After driving the car for 2 days i realised that the issue was persisting so i returned it to Kia. They damaged my gearbox and requested i pay for a car hire of R1500 which is refundable which i accepted as i need a vehicle. Europcar finally at 3pm on a Friday to offer me a Chevrolet/Picanto/Hyundai i20. Which i graciously declined as i require a bigger vehicle for my needs. I was addressed in a rude manner and lady at reception hung up the phone on me twice. If this is how Kia treats black customers i feel sorry for them.

I had a scary problem with my car when the clutch died. I called Idirect who gave me a great service. I initially spoke to Mark who arranged for the tow truck to come. Then a lovely lady followed up giving information and checking if truck arrived. Thank you all for calming my nerves and resolving issue in less than an hour of whole odeal.
