Useless, waiting whole day for delivery, calling them, no one answers, call eventually dies after 20 minutes. They change delivery status to I am not available? No dont use them, absolute waste of a company
Dont, with Jasen leaving, that company is destined to fail. Frans, the owner Frans. Rude and Arrogant. He doesnt permit his employees to do much and when speaking directly to him on the phone because he is now short staffed, he is short with the the person on the phone.

As a private banker with Nedbank, where my bank fees are nearly R1000 per month, I get better service from Capitec.
Just dont order online, item ordered with 5 year warranty, taken us more than a month to try and return a faulty item. At this stage it is impossible to return a faulty item after 3 months. Walk into Makro, get told we need to arrange for collection as we ordered online. Arguing warranties with them for more than a month, they went so far as to remove the item from the website. The item in question is a 128GB flashdrive which unfornately didnt even last a year, it was purchased April 2023. They have gone so far as to remove the item from site while corresponding. Any purchases made through makro should be done directly through their suppliers, as they do no cover the full warranty. Luckily our 3d printer we bought from makro is still functional and that only a flashdrive broke, otherwise this would have been a very expensive exercise
Even their so called top engineer is a complete useless tool. A request was made for 2 x sfp+ ports so that we could increase out bandwidth to the firewall from 1Gb/s to 10Gb/s and we are being requested a network diagram before they can assist. Requests being made not being done such as adding staff to list for allowed access. Had an issue with one of their switches with hosting, to be told the fault was on our equipment and setup, we then rented a second cabinet, same setup, no issue and canceled our first cabinet. Switch kept disabling ports. They claim to have full access or control, pulling logs, however days later we get told that they are still looking for the password to the devices. So what logs did they see? I do not know, it was requested but never sent. We only got samples of the error which tells me they are reading from a book
