Don't use this co. They are another faceless company who ***** money. We arrived in Vienna in December 2025, tired, cold and ready for a rest, only to be told that our hotel room was cancelled by a rude man who couldn't speak English. The room was booked and paid for through Booking.com. We have to find another place and to this day Booking.com has not refunded us. **** artists.
Seriously, who are these people? I mistakenly invested on their platform via the Capitec APP. Since then it has been ABSOLUTLY ATTROCIOUS! It starts of with EasyId NEVER working first time. I've accepted it as normal to have to log in twice. Then, when trying to transact, it takes you to a window that asks for a CRS form to be filled in. This link is dead and has been dead for MONTHS! I have opened countless tickets which never gets attended to. Right now I simply want to withdraw all my money and have NOTHING to do with this company any more. They are a faceless entity behind an unmanned email. DO NOT INVEST WITH THESE PEOPLE!
Bought rails from them, after making it explicitly clear that it's for a school and needs to be sturdy. They are not sturdy. The first child that leaned against it bent the single bolt mounting at the bottom. After voicing my unhappiness and sending it video of the wobbly rails, they accused me of using "a incorrect/replacement nozzle" on the Sica epoxy. Ducking and diving, and accusing the client is not how you retain customers. I have a R15million development happening in the near future - guess whose railings I won't be using.

If you wait for the specials you can get significant savings. Buying online is so much more convenient and free delivery for orders over R700! I was a bit disappointed with the gift wrapping - really sloppy for a premier present!
Yet another HORRIBLE experience with MTN. Went to Clearwater mall shop - 1. Lackluster, bored employees on their phones. 4 people behind the counters, no-one willing to assist. 2. Saw the 10GIG Bozza Data special. DOES NOT SAY 5GIG NIGHTTIME EXPRESS ON THE SIGN!!!!! Also doesn't say it's for prepaid only. Yet another misleading scam 3. Used to buy "Work from home special" for R249. Suddenly that's not usable data anymore - changed without any notification 4. If you buy a day package at 5pm, it will expire at midnight, not 5pm the next day. Thats blatant theft. Another misleading scam 5. No standard data price - prices just change at a whim 6. Data that expires is blatant theft. Don't even try to justify it. I bought it, its mine, you don't get to take it back. 7. Data prices differ depending on where you buy it - Trying to find a good deal is like choosing to eaten by a bear or a rat. I am so done with MTN and their Mafia business practises. When my contract expires I will NEVER deal with your again. Worst company ever!
Why are we ****d by big corporations like this? During lockdown, I bought the "Work from home" data package almost religiously. Imagine my surprise when I bought THE SAME F&*^%(*ING PACKAGE last month and now I cant use it because it's some BS package that isn't data. YOU CHANGED THE CONTRACT WITHOUT CONSULTING ANYONE! This morning I bought another package "Fortnightly ad hoc" Again, I can't use the data because of some Satanic secret society data rules that means one can only use the data to call Satan, or the MTN CEO, which is one and the same person. I currently have 10gig of unusable data. MTN are thieves stealing my money. There is a special place in hell for you.
What a truly horrible experience. I've been using the "work from home" data special since the beginning of lockdown. Today I recharged and suddenly no WhatsApps are going thru. Spent 30mins on the call with consultants who's accent's are so thick the are difficult to understand, only to be cut off anway. Nowhere on the App does it stipulate this sudden theft of data by MTN. As if the data prices aren't daylight robbery already, MTN just changes the rules as tey please. Thieves, thats what you are.
Absa home insurance must be the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. Submitted a claim for poolpump, electric fence and gate motor that was damaged due to loadshedding. Claim was submitted in May - still no response. Then I thought ***** you, I'm changing to Discovery- Absa doesn't even bother responding to that! Beyond a joke- it's like dealing with Home Affairs! Don't ever insure with ABSA!
