We bought our house in 2021, with an Value that was approved by STD Bank. Based on this Value, the property was insured. The premiums was increased annually (8%). We had a burst pipe, and got a quote for the damage. The assessor came to assess. Our Broker followed up regarding the claim and said that according to the Assessor calculations the property under insured with 52%! and they will deduct this shortfall off the claim amount??????? how are we suppose to know that the property under insured ?? this is totally UNACCEPTABLE to say the least! After all these years with OMI, it's time to change!
8th May 22 I was in the Istore Walmer park to drop off my Iphone XR to have the battery replaced. The technician on duty wasted nearly an hour to access and then tell me he needs to order the battery, he will be in contact when it arrives, then I can arrange for a courier. So the weeks went past, still no email or call! I eventually got through to Lauren Arends. I arranged for the phone to be couriered. Lauren sent me an email saying she cant replace the battery as the screen as already replaced-it's not the original Screen. she sent me a quote over R4000 to replace the screen. I am aware the screen (bottom right hand side) moved away a bit - but there was absolutely nothing wrong with the screen and you couldn't see it when the silicone cover was on. I only wanted the battery replaced! So Lauren contacted me and I said I would get back to her as I need to find out first from my daughter ( and we didn't budget for that amount at this stage) . she marked the job card as ready for collection . I sent her an email, i will arrange for the courier, we will hang on for now until the contract is due for upgrade! SO, the phone arrived here on Fri afternoon 19/08 - I was in total shock to see what she did with the phone! totally shattered , all the colors of the rainbow too!! not to be used at all!!!!! Now it all makes sense, probably stripped the screen and sent me an email that she cant replace the battery! if the battery couldnt be replaced, then your technician should have said so when I was there in May! I need this screen replaced as it was by your Store unfortunately , this is not IStore quality ! and my phone only needed the battery replaced. If I don't get any feedback within 7 days, I will process a claim to Lauren Arends through SMALL CLAIMS court + costs !
On Sat 25 June - I collected a vehicle from OR Tambo. we were in such a rush to get to PTA. We werent sure where to collect the vehicle at the parking Bays. A gentleman that I assume work there, took us to parking Bay J24. He helped by loading the suitcases etc. as I was getting the GPS ready. That same night I noticed we left a pillow + K way jacket in the trolley. I phoned the next day 4 times to check if it was left at Lost property. The gentlemen ( Victor- I think) said no one gave it in at Lost property. Surely there's camaras to go to and check ???? Brand new jacket stolen ! This guy pushed the trolley back to where it belongs! This is not acceptable. and very disappointed.
With regards to below complaint : A consultant phoned me to say she will escalate to higher level as she cant help me! Didn't I ask for a supervisor in the first place ????? So i phoned the no on the complaint sms I received yesterday morning 03/06 - left a message and still NO reply or phone call !!! Complaint regarding FNB Smart Housing: I'm currently employed and administrator of HR dept and assist staff to apply for Housing finance through FNB - unfortunately only allowed with ISASA pension. Altough I've been a client of FNB for many years - and confirmation of more than enough in my pension fund to draw 80% for housing deposit. However, the administrators dealing with the applications are just useless! Daily I battle to get through and I've been referred to Rodny Bowers, which to no avail daily or just never available. I know my situation/application a bit more complicated with other monthly earnings. So FNB just decided they can't help with the application SURELY - the money/surety from Pension is there and SURELY FNB will have a hold on the money until settled ? We've been really looking forward to buying our own home - and when buying on a business name, we were only granted 80%, therefor I was hoping to draw the 20% deposit from my pension PLEASE can a supervisor/manager please get back to me and re look at my application . other Staff had similar problems and tried different banks and was approved with Joy Many thanks Rene
We recently dealt with salesman Erich Nel from Toyota/Settler city Motors in Grahamstown. He really make the application so easy and find the suitable vehicle for us. Kept us updated as to when and where what was happening. I would really recommend Erich and Toyota can be proud to have someone enjoy what their doing! Keep it up Rene

It's now the 2nd incident I'm experiencing with PEUGEOT!. I've got a Peugeot Partner Panel van. Last week I've noticed the key gets stuck in the ignition when I'm trying to start. So on Wednesday 14/04 the steering wheel locked completely and could not turn the key or even get the key out. Thurs 15/04 - first thing I've contacted the lock smith to see if he can help. He then advised me unfortunately I have to replace the whole "kit". Fri 16/04 - I've made 11 calls to Peugeot Port Elizabeth/Kelston - I got cut off a few times and when I eventually got through, I had to leave a message for a call back! NO response on Friday Sat 17/04 - I tried to phone to see if someone might be at the parts department : got through, the reception took the phone to the gentleman - he asked if he can phone me back. 30min later, he phoned, I explained and he gave me a quote. I asked please send the quote to me immediately to pay , then he can only order! but I have to wait 4-6 weeks for the part! TO DATE, NO QUOTE RECEIVED. Mon 19/04 - I made a call to Reggie, at VW/Kelston in Grahamstown and he said he will try and find the part, but most likely there wont be any parts available! SURELY, I'm not the only one driving a Peugeot in SA????????? Why aren't there any parts available ????????? I cant wait 4-6 weeks , as I use this vehicle for my business and now I'm stuck! AGAIN! and have to reply on someone else daily to help! Please can I ask that customer service or someone in a Senior position look into this and try and source the part for me urgently in SA? Waiting for urgent reponse many Thanks

I've inquired regarding online Courses online, and managed to find the course I was looking for at DAMELIN online. I've immediately enquired and paid for the course in full. Firstly, i was pressured to make payment to qualify for the discount! The same lady that i dealt with, i battled to get a response from her as to when and where to start ! It took over two months for any feedback. Eventually i was explained how. Then, I was informed that Samuel will be the online lecturer. As soon as i send an email , it takes days for a reply! When he tries to phone me, and i missed the call, it could not get through to him. The one night he tried to phone me 21:32pm at night! which is very unprofessional to say the least. then, eventually I've asked how to submit my work - Samuel said to him , then another email i got instructions from someone else how to submit online! I've sent Samuel questions i need help with, now three weeks later, no reply or help whatsoever! But I've been warned - now that I've paid in full, the lack of communication even worse! You wasting my time and I DEMAND a refund in FULL. Should I not get my refund, I will get my lawyer to take this further ! This have left a bad taste in my mouth, and definitely not interested to deal with inappropriate people! Thanks Rene
due to recent lack of service from our local Vodacom shop - I was referred to Jaundre Cameron at the Vodacom 4u Loch Logan. Really quick and efficient service. all the way from Grahamstown , he managed to sort out my upgrade, order a watch and have it courier! Thank you Jaundre. WIll definitely refer all to you .
