Good day, We would like to express our great disappointment at the appalling service received at your store in Sandton today 17 Dec 2020 around 3pm. Firstly the staff were not the friendliest and showed no interest in us when we entered the store. And then when we finally got the items we wished to purchase, we got the shock of our lives on the antiquated old systems that were being used by Aldo. So we had a birthday recently and some of the guests gave us gift cards. We had two gift cards of R500 each and the two items we wished to acquire added up to R950. We were quickly told that "the system" does not allow you to use two gift cards on a single purchase? So the one item being R700 we would have to top that purchase up with our own cash? This was the first of have ever heard of this? All other retail and clothing outlets allow this and the staff were not willing to help in any way. So we left without any of the items because there is no point in paying out of our pocket when the gift cards we had sufficiently covered the purchases. Aldo please update your systems and train your Aldo Sandton staff on customer service. Thank you.
The lack of customer service at Standard Bank is appalling. Also what is the purpose of having a complaints email address for complaints when nobody responds or acknowledges even receiving it. My problem has been ongoing for 3 months or so and now my credit profile has been affected due to Standard Bank's inability to resolve their own internal communication breakdown. I have been in contact with Standardbank whom approved my credit life plan for a further 6 months till December and they made a lump-sum payment in June to cover this. After receiving numerous sms's that I am in arrears and me emailing them the statement and even having the collections department hounding me for payment, my issue remains unresolved and no feedback is forthcoming on how my credit profile is to be corrected. Now my credit status is impacted and will hamper me in getting any further financial assistance.
Lezel and Megan are so passionate and professional in what they do. This is by far the best experience with a travel agent I have had by far. I would recommend their service any day, and will definitely be using Maplanga Africa in future. Thank you Ladies!!!
<p>I would like to report a shocking experience I had at the 8pm screening of Wonder Woman at the Prestige Mall of Africa on Friday 2 June 2017.</p> <p>We arrived at 19h30 and placed our order for Popcorn, Cold drink, Sweets and Cheesecake at 19h45. 10 minutes later the popcorn was given to us and they asked us for our seat numbers so that they can bring the rest of the items. We made our way inside popcorn in hand and sat down to watch the previews. We waited right through the previews until 5 minutes into the movie around 20h35 when I had to physical stand up and go and check what is going on with my our order.<br />I ran into one of the waitresses in the passage on my way there and told her we are still waiting for our order. Another 10 minutes went by (20h45) and no sign of the order. Eventually when I saw another waitress assisting someone else I called her and advise her that we are still waiting for our order. At 20h50 (1 hour after ordering) we finally got our things which were Wrong of course. The cold drinks were incorrect and the sweets as well. The cheese cake was the only correct thing. We chose to just accept it because who knows how long it would have taken for that to be corrected.</p> <p>A great movie was almost ruined by this shockingly bad service received at Prestige Mall of Africa.<br />We pay a premium price for this Prestige Experience and good service should be something that goes without question.</p> <p>A very unhappy and disappointed Prestige movie goer.</p>
This is not the first time I use OrderIn to order from this Nando's and on the 5th Jan I was given what I didn't order again. There were 5 meals that I indicated I would like peri-peri wedges but every single one came with plain wedges. Also on the drinks I indicated I would like either iron brew or creme soda, and I was given only cokes. On another occasion a complete meal was left behind and received an incomplete order. So had to wait for the driver to go and collect and return. I really expect better!
This is not the first time I have got slow service from McDonald's Halfway House (near Boulders Shopping Centre). I am not sure if the McDonald's standards have changed but spending 30 minutes in a drive thru is not on...I got there probably around 19h20, my receipt stamp indicates 19h23 (which is the time I paid). My order was a Medium Grand Chicken Meal and a MegaMac burger (just the burger). Everything was happening so slow. When I finally got to the collection window there was no one there. I waiting about 2min until somebody finally came to tell me that the chicken was still being cooked and I needed to park and wait for my order. 19h53 the lady finally came with my order and I left.<br> I will not be going back there again as this is not the first time I was less then impressed with the service. Honestly McDonald's, if I want to spend 30 minutes waiting for my food I will go to a sit-down restaurant and wait that long. The whole point of drive thru is speed and convenience?<br> Please have a look at this branch...
