I am very disappointed with Courier Guy, I have been using them with Good Service but lately they have the worst service. I recently purchased some Items from someone in Capetown to be sent to Durban. Lucky I paid for Insurance. But even that is such an issue, Its been over a month and they have not compensated me for an item which was ****** by their own staff. I called the Manager of the Somerset West Branch and asked him to please escalate and update me but not once did I receive a call. They have been investigating the issue with their staff last they said they were going to do polygraph on the staff. But they have made their problem, my problem and I have not been compensated for the ****** items. Tracking Number TCG44265201
Unfortunate to have a bad experience with Hirsch especially after spending so much money on some of the Black Friday Specials. My issue is related to the LG Washer/dryer combo. I purchased the machine from the store which the salesman and LG rep gave me a full run down on the machine on how good it is etc. I got the machine installed at home and the washer part of the machine worked fine but the dryer unfortunately did not work properly. There is a setting which is for wash and dry which also takes approx 6.5hours to run. So i did run the function and the clothes washed but did not dry, attempted to put the clothes on dry only mode and that did not work again. Then i set the machine on turbo dry and took a long time to complete but this function burnt the clothes, all the white material items ended up brown. I went to the store and the LG rep said i must change the setting to another function for delicate drying. I did this and the clothes again did not dry. I set the machine for 1 hour dry and did not dry did the 1 hour again and did not dry. Frustrated with all of the above, i packed the machine took it back to the store within 7days after purchasing, Unfortunately the store refused to refund me or even credit me to take something else. They said LG needs to check the machine. After 2 weeks of waiting they say the machine is working and they can not find a fault and i must come collect it. I said they have inconvenienced me for this issue and they need to arrange the item to be delivered to me and then send LG to come check the machine again but at my place. The salesman agreed to have it delivered then they charged me for delivery fee without advising me of a delivery cost. Now i have to wait for the above process to take place so LG can check the machine again at my home. Very disappointing and frustrating service from Hirsch Springfield.
Prime Meridian sells us Consumers Comprehensive insurance for our vehicles, We take the cover having peace of mind that if something unforeseen happens to our vehicles we have the insurance to cover us for repairs or pay the bank if the vehicle is financed or pay us to buy a replacement vehicle. However their Comprehensive Insurance is not entirely comprehensive and does come with exclusions to their policy which kind of makes this a Limited Comprehensive cover. In my case my vehicle caught on fire, which was possibly due to the battery exploding in the boot which is where it is located in the BMW. Prime Meridian did not pay for my claim because there is an exclusion in their policy for fires that start within the vehicle. Which I feel this may have been acceptable if it was human error, but in my case this was not as the battery is part of the vehicle itself. I sent email to lodge dispute with the rejection of the claim but did not get any response. Hopefully my review has provided insight on you getting Comprehensive cover from Prime Meridian, Better to rather take insurance from the bank directly which has no exclusions and provides you "Comprehensive Insurance Cover". Financial institutes should also be advised that accepting Confirmation of Cover from Prime Meridian for their Client's that are Financing their vehicles, should be discouraged as they are not truly getting comprehensive cover on their vehicles
I have had a Vodacom data contract for 2 years and at the end of the term i contacted Vodacom to do a cancellation which was processed and i got a reference number. Awhile later i was contacted by Vodacom and offered a deal to retain me as a customer. I was advised by the agent that they will offer me 20gb data and R65 airtime as well as a R500 voucher. It has been many months now that past and I was basically lied to by the agent because all i get is the R65 airtime which is useless when i actually needed a data contract. On top of that i have not received the R500 voucher. I have contacted customer care that same day that the agent called me and i said i did not want the contract, the agent advised that the contract will not be activated without being further contacted yet the contract was activated and no comuncation was given. I again contacted customer care and requested to speak to the manager and the agent advised the manager was busy and will contact me later that day, still did not get contacted. Very disappointing service. I am now paying for a contract that can’t be used.
I bank with FNB as a Private Wealth Client, I have done an application for a Smart ID and Passport via the ehome affairs website. My application is complete and payment has been successful but I am not able to get an appointment booking at FNB Cornubia Branch. It just says no available time-slots, so i visited the Branch which was basically empty but no assistance was given, the branch manager just said i must go enter the dates on the site and i will get a booking, which i have already tried many various options and it didn't work. I am very disappointed that this branch could not provide any proper assistance to a client.
Great Service and Delicious Food as well as a Menu with Prices that are affordable, Made the perfect date night. Great work.

Most Pathetic Service... I called for online banking assistance explained my issue the service agent says go to a branch, I waited a few minutes another service agent answered she partially assisted and got to a point where she said go to a branch... I waited again and called another service agent assisted and she fixed my problem... which i was able to log onto my banking... Each call duration lasted more than 30mins each. Few minutes later i receive an sms saying my account is blocked by fraud and must contact them another 30mins on the call and outcome is go to a branch. I am really disappointed in their service a colleague of my experienced the exact same problem. A Just of the Review is ABSA has the most poor service. I have accounts with other banks as well and i get the most prompt service. I shall have to do as my colleague has done is cancel my accounts with ABSA.
KFC Umhlanga by Coastlands is by far the worst KFC i have been to, With ridiculous waiting times for food as well as the most slowest drive through, I spent 20mins in a line of 7 cars and each car had to wait a duration at the collection window for their order. This has happened on numerous occasions. I always order the zinger wings and on numerous occasions the wings served at this branch is more soggy than crispy and on occasions the blood can be seen on the bone, Meat not 100% Cooked also some occasions the chips are noticeable of being re fried and is horrible.
I have used many of the McDonald's in the Durban Area but the drive through at the Shallcross and Bluff branch have the most ridiculous waiting time for an order to be processed. The attendants always send cars to go park in the parking lot and wait for the order and it takes a long time before getting the order. I have never had any issues with the food at the Bluff branch but the ridge branch often the food is not as fresh or the orders are messed up. Perfect service from the Umhlanga and Durban Central Branches. Its just disappointing especially when you in a rush to just use the drive through and on top of that have a long wait or food that's not prepared or packed correctly.
