<div>Our move was supposed to take 3 days and, in the end, it took more than a month. We flew to the city we moved from just to be there when they have to load the items and when phoning them to ask where they are they said that they weren’t coming anymore as “the truck broke down”. They made empty promises saying it would be delivered on a certain date and in the end, they kept postponing it. When we tried to contact them, they would ignore our phone calls and then whatsapp us saying they have load shedding and therefore can’t take our calls or would just not come back to us. In their terms and conditions, they say that they will not be held liable for any breakages due to mishandling. We did not sign the terms and conditions, so according to me it’s not valid. We had multiple breakages, all my boxes were upside down, although I wrote on the top “fragile” or “do not turn upside down”. Their driver also drove into one of the vehicles on the property and couldn’t provide his driver’s license. Our stuff were moved to multiple trucks and eventually ended up in storage where it got infected with ****roaches. Some of my stuff is missing and some items also weren’t delivered. I am phoning and emailing the owners and they’re ignoring me. Please do not make the mistake we did by trusting them with your hard earned items.</div>
I would highly encourage anyone NOT TO MAKE USE OF THIS COMPANY. We used them in January 2023 and it was (and still is) a nightmare! Good day, I have purchase a black and pink tights from total sports online. I specifically bought these as Adidas are normally very good quality. I have wore the pink one once and the black one twice but I can't wear them in publick as my underwear is showing. The tights are so see-through that don't even want to wear them at home. I'm really so disappointed as I spent more money on a branded item which is normally good quality but now I can't wear them. I have written to adidas on the 14th of November 2022 and it hasn't been sorted out. I have attached my proof of purchase, the way it looks and everything, I am afraid I won't support Adidas anymore as their client service is useless.
I ordered my bed on the 25th of April from the Witbank branch. Because my bank card had already reached it's limit, my payment didn't want to go through. I asked them if they would keep my order so that I can quickly go home to adjust my limits. When I went back to the store to pay they told me they already ordered my bed as the truck would be coming from Johannesburg the following day and they were hoping that it would be able to bring my bed with. The next day, my bed was delivered. Dial-a-bed Witbank branch, you are awesome!!
I placed an order for shoes on the 27th of April 2022. I got an email saying:"Essential Holdings received your payment". I did not receive an order number or confirmation of order received. When I emailed them I didn't receive any response, so I emailed them on the email address stated on the website and got an:"Address not found" reply. I tried to phone them but the phone call goes straight to voice mail. Needless to say, I also did not receive my shoes. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE A FRAUD!!!
I reached out to MAC Cosmetics regarding a defective lipstic I purchased online. I contacted them 2 days ago with no response. It was my first MAC lipstic I purchased - I did purchase it on Takealot but it surely came from a MAC store. It's a non-returnable item and it seems like someone opened the lipstic, turned it out and didn't turn it back all the way and then put back the cap so the lipstick is all smudged up in the cap. I am very disappointed that a large company like this has such bad customer service.
I have contacted Vodacom to install fibre on the 21st of December and the first installation date was the 22nd of December. Since then I have had 4 installation dates where they confirm a time and I ensure that I am home sk that they come and do an installation just with no one to show up. I am getting the feeling thay they don't want any more customers. If this is how it goes just to install fibre, I don't want to know how their customer service will be.
Good day, I bought the Catrice Demi Matt 090 from Dischem at Haasendal Gables (Cape Town, Western Cape) . Catrice is one of my favourite brands and this far i haven't found a single item I didn't like. Unfortunately when I eventually wanted to put on the lipstick a few days later i noticed that the tip of the lipstick atick was smudged as if someone tried to turn the lipatick out while it was still sealed. It wasn't a trainsmash but also wasn't ideal as it is a new product and I would have wanted it to be perfect as any one would when buying a new item. I decided to use it anyway as it was only the tip of the lipstick that had been smudged (so I thought) but when i applied the lipatick the whole lipstock broke off. Now I am unable to use it as when I open the lipstick the whole bullet comes out as well. I am really disappointed as I am a big fan of Catrice, I use their foindation, concealer, liquid lipstick, lipgloss and a few other products and this is the first time I have come across something like this. It makes it difficult to purchase any lipsticks from them as you can't opem the lipstick in store to see if it is in correct shape as it it sealed. Unfortunately i have trown the slip away as I didn't open or use the lipstick straight away. Kind regards, Mariska

I have saved up to puchase my first ever Fossil watch. I wanted a Fossil watch ever since I can remember. I went on the website and started looking, I searched for the Fossil Women's Jacqueline Silver/Steel Round Leather Watch as it was one of the watches I was planning to purchase. Seeing it was out of stock I started to browse and received a pop up to use the "YOUREINLUCK10" discount code. Finally I found another two watches i liked, the Fossil women's Tailor Silver/Steel Round Stainless Steel Watch and the Women's Boyfriend Watch. I added those two to my basket and proceeded to check out. As this is my first purchase form Watch Republic it said on the website that you get 20% off your first purchase. I thought it would deduct by itself and it didn't so I tried the "YOUREINLUCK" promo code and it said that it was invalid. I phoned customer service and the guy who assisted me said that I should get the 20% off promo code for your first purchase via email if I subscribed to the newsletter which I did, but never received an email with the promo code. He gave the promo code to me over the phone and said that the website should be updated therefore the 10% promo code wouldn't have worked. I thanked him for assisting me after and after adding the 20% discount I checked out and processed the order. I chose the credit/debit card option to pay and it said that it would take me to the secure peach website to pay. It just took me to a blank page. When I refreshed it said that the page has expired. I went back to my cart to see if the 2 Watches that I wanted to purchase were there but it said that mg cary was empty. I looked at my orders tab and there also were nothing so I went back to the tab to select the 2 watches again but they were nowhere to be found. I searched for them in the search bar but now they were OUT OF STOCK!! I tried to phone the service desk again, held for about 5 minutes just to hear that the operarors won't be able to assist me. I eventually ordered two watches from Watch Republick on the 27th of October which was different watches to which I wanted to order. I only received one of the two watches and when I followed up now, one of the assistants said that they don't have stock and wanted to give me a refund. I asked him when they will be getting stock and he said he doesn't know. I don't want a refund, I want my watch but I also can't wait for it forever? I don't understand how you as a watch company don't have stock but a place like takealot does have? I asked the assistant to follow up to see when they wi be getting stock and received the feedback: "Kindly be advised that because of the different sales we are running for black Friday it is stock that we do have and won't be receiving new stock anytime soon. We won't be getting stock of the items that went out of stock." My order was placed loooong before black friday. This service is pathetic!!! I wouldn't recommend purchasing from them and also would not purchase from them again.
