My chery pro 4 now has to be towed in for the 3rd time in a month with "gearbox failure". It seems this place is fumbling in the dark here. 1st they updated some software, 2nd they replaced some module, 3rd maybe the flux capacitor will be given a once-over
Alpine Cheryl. my Chery tiggo pro4 CVT went to repairs for a gearbox failure. The next day they said it needed a software update. 1 week later, today, the problem is back and guess my confidence in Chery fixing it properly this time.
Lately their sweetener tablets take a very long time to dissolve. You have to stir your coffee/tea for about 1 minute to be sure that the tablet is dissolved.

My 2018 Suzuki Celerio is 7 years old this year(2025) and it has just under 29500km on the clock. Recently it started making noises in the front when going over irregularities on the road. Suzuki diagnosed the callipers as the culprits and quoted me+R7000 to replace them. This will be the first time I'll have to do this type of repair for the 27 cars I've owned so far in my life. I feel disappointed in Suzuki when taking into consideration the low milage.
OM finally paid out my paid up policy. Trouble is that the amount paid out is +-R15000 less than what they quoted me on the day I went to cash out the policy. There is absolutely no way for me to see online what the final amount was. Contacting their helpdesk elicited no response.
My policy matured on 1 December, I went to the Old Mutual branch on 2 December (Monday) at 9am to arrange the payout. Completed forms & did FICA. Was told the payout would take place within 10 working days. It is now past 10 working days & no payout. I have called the call centre, I received more forms to complete & had to do more FICA. Still no payout. I have had 2 other policies pay out this year & both took less than 5 days. This is very disappointing. Also what happens to the internet earned now.
